If she wants to wear more country clothes; I think she should go for a few different colours, like heather or something

I guess DoC is like most of us in buying (perhaps even unconsciously) lots of very similar versions of the same few key looks. Hers are:

Alexander McQueen pastel coat dresses

Green/khaki country coats

Black skinny jeans

Bretons

White or very pale coloured sleeveless or one shouldered evening dresses with fitted bodice and full skirt

Green St Patrick's Day coats

Ooh, Troy is the new kid on the country block. Viscountess Hinchingbrooke is always promoting this brand.

Those strange Emelia Wicksteed crimplene looking dresses with fitter bodices and self belts.

One thing I won't be buying is the Kermit Dress, the rest of the dresses by that designer are lovely though.

I like Kate in the skinnier. I really luke the little frill neck blouse too but i dont like those big boots, they're like the ones holly Willoughby wore in Australia where everyone raved about her outfits non stop. They look too chunky for Kate's legs. The long brown boots would have been so much nicer.
She has a lively tall ponytail/pliat again. Not stuck to her head like mine would be. If surely can't be backcomombing, mine slides out. Do you think they put something in there? Id like to have a go if i knew.

I love her coat dresses and her hats too,
Some of her evening wear, including that horrendous Erdem dress remember the one where she forgot to pack her evening dress and borrowed curtains from the Swedish palace. wouldn't be my taste.

I liked her boots! Do you know where they're from? Probably somewhere too £££ but worth asking.

I'd like to be able to do that twisty plait ponytail thing too. It looks neater than a normal one. What on earth would I call it to look up a "how to" though? I'm guessing she didn't have to search Pinterest and watch a YouTube tutorial and someone did it for her.

Glam I think it might just be her hair. Mine is this shape/height in a normal ponytail. Wouldn't stay this neat though. I want to learn how to do the foldy bit at the back.

I do not think skinnies suit her at all. I think wide trousers are far more flattering on her thin legs. Another waste of money buying numerous khaki jackets. I really think if she doesn’t have the interest in clothes that some posters maintain, she would have one khaki jacket. She has someone looking after her clothes and it isn’t as if she doesn’t have it cleaned after every outing!

Does she have short legs and a long body (relative to her height obv).

Kate has a long torso, but it's in proportion to her legs. Meghan has longer legs than torso, which is why she looks thicker around the waist. They have each adapted their style well to their figure I think.

William and Kate are so constantly interested (or appear to be!!) in everything that they do. It's lovely to watch. They look so good together.

Wide trousers aren't really going to work with the boots, though, are they? If you're trudging around a farm and shearing sheds (and probably expecting it to be chucking it down) you want trousers that are going to stay out of the way.

I liked Kate’s look today but agree with a pp that I would have preferred longer boots.

She looks so happy. I know it’s her job and all but I do like seeing her look so smiley and engaged.

I wonder if we'll see countryside visits from H&M once Meghan's back from maternity leave? I have visions of her picking her way gingerly through a muddy field in her Aquazurras!
