Kate is glowing. IF there is any truth in the rumour then she’s decided to put it behind her. I would think She’s in a much more powerful position as the DofC rather than the ex DofC.

I've said this before but those Skinnys and those boots do not go together at all. Her knee-high boots would be much better - even her wellies would have been better - to give balance.
Also her hair do. It's very beautiful but it's to perfectly coiffed for the rest of the style of her clothes. She could almost put a ballgown on from her neck up.

It's always possible she was told what to wear in terms of practicality, bending in long boots might have been restricting, though I agree they would have looked better.

What I love about Kate is she gets stuck in, whether it's ball games, boat racing or now shearing. She always looks like she's thoroughly enjoying herself too.

I'll be watching out for a sheepskin headband now...

How is she more powerful as the DOC instead of the ex DOC in any way Iheart? IMO the only power she has is being the birth mother of the future king which nobody can ever take from her.

Is it any different to any woman who has been cheated on? There is a lot of sympathy the first time it happens but after that the public lose respect eg Victoria Beckham. IWhen somebody cheats once, they will do so again. And again. I suspect William has been told to choose his women more carefully to ensure the utmost discretion.

Thanks Pink they're not actually too ££ but still very expensive. I wouldn't trudge around a sheep farm in them.

If it helps, I thought she fit in with a particular Cumbrian style very well.

(Not too expensive if bought at sale price I mean. Still out of my budget but you know, relatively speaking.)

IMO You only have to look at the easing out at Christmas, Easter & summer holidays of Diana & Fergie to see that Kate is better off being in the fold than out of it. I wouldn’t be happy about it but each to their own.

Actually if they're the boots I'm looking at, Kate has gone quite literal again. Cumbria is known for hill walking and sheep so she's gone with shearling lined hiking boots.

Not keen on Kate's spray-ons (and I love skinnies). They look sort of explicit if that makes any sense.

Not a style picture, but DoC has a brief chat with the daughters of the farmers today in the below video. She asks about their plaits, how she failed to do one for Charlotte this morning, and couldn't wear her Elsa dress for them. Lovely engagement.

I agree. I guess this is what I meant the other day about her having grit. She may hate sheep shearing, or trudging around on muddy farms, or standing around in the rain, but not only does she get on with it, she always smiles and seems to really enjoy herself.

I know it's her job. She just happens to be pretty good at it, imo.

Equally IF there have been any shenanigans then maybe it happened a while ago and they resolved it, long before news got out.

Still not entirely convinced it happened - not because of his background, but because they look naturally very content. Plus the US reports said nothing more than the rather crap speculation we had here, there didn’t really seem much evidence to report. Maybe I’m just a romantic :)
