My own father didn't get an invitation to my wedding, nor any of my cousins, nor a single person I grew up with. Life is complicated. Things happen. 🤷‍♀️

If I were Megahn I wouldn’t want my crazy sister there too, but what about the Regland family? Doria seems like a very dignified and poised woman, why didn’t she get a plus one? Cousin? Friend? Uncle? someone next to her, it must have been an incredibly stressful and overwhelming experience for her.

Meghan seems close to her mum. I’m pretty certain that had her mum asked for a plus one she’d have got it!

If, heaven forbid, anyone I knew married into a royal or sleb family where cameras were likely to be I would find a great excuse to stay at home.

The normal rule of thumb on here is you invite who you want to your wedding. So why is that different for Harry and Meghan? I agree the I'm sure if Doria has wanted a plus one on family support Meghan would have sorted that. We know very little about Doria maybe she is the one not close to her family. I'm close to most of my family but the idea of being a plus one to any of them to an event of that level no thank you!

The way George and Oprah have talked about her doesn't ring true as being at her behest at all. The way it's done, the words they use etc, all seem to me to be two people are extremely HIGH profile and who have been given a sort of unofficial "expert" status on everything from veganism to celebrity speaking out. And because they DO know her, it's assumed it comes from her.

The People Magazine piece with anonymous sources - that one I can see her knowing about possibly.

The idea that they invited celebrities over family is clearly made up nonsense. How many hundreds did that place seat? They'd have invited who they wanted, there's no need to use it as yet another very boring stick to beat MM with.

Why can't people point out the oddness of inviting Oprah to your wedding when you've known her 5 minutes but think it's totally acceptable to say a person must be lying about their own allergies because you think they must just not know how to ride a horse. It is laughable the double standards.

The little bit of weight gain in the face really does make her look younger. I very much doubt she will see it that way though - it’s a temporary thing. I remember the pictures of Kate at H&M’s wedding when she had just had Louise. She had a teeny bit of extra weight and looked totally different facially. Softer and definitely younger.

Still, very few women would trade being thin for having a chubby, young face. 😂

Double standards because you can say anything about one duchess including saying they are lying, will put up with anything to stay Royal, lazy, bad dress sense but question anything about the other duchess and you are a racist misogynist. It's laughable.

Most of the commentary re Oprah's attendance at the time of the wedding said it was because earlier that month Doria had met Oprah to discuss a possible interview. There's no other source for their supposed friendship.

To be fair you can meet someone & just click & become really good friends in a short time & still be friends all your life.

Tracy , in normal life yes, but imagine trying to be friends with someone and they only take an interest when either you become rich or famous, this friendship is not based on anything but Mutual benefit .

I just think MM gets incredibly unfair treatment. And I don’t “put KM down”

I actually felt sorry for MM during the balcony appearance. Nobody was talking to her and Harry was very harsh. I think she's barged into the RF and made enemies. She just didn't understand the situation at all. If Diana who grew up with them couldn't cope then it's doubly difficult for a complete outsider.

Maybe there is rift and Harry was just grumpy as he is a new father?
I reckon George had been told off and that was why he was scowling and the children were on separate sides.

I think they all looked wonderful tbh. I loved Camilla’s outfit, I aspire to look like her when I’m her age!

See I feel like I was watching a different balcony and a different carriage ride to most of the press apparently.

I saw no tension in the carriage the four of them looked like they normally do on royal duties yes Meghan was probably talking a bit more than than the others but to be it seemed like understandable nerves on her first occasion post Archie and only her second trooping. Camillia seemed a bit quite but after the trumps and the D-day service understandable its rare we see that much of Camillia in a block I think.

The balcony as I said it was rushed coming out and way to squashed and yes most of the focus was on Louis but what I saw was Harry Megan and I'm not sure who was behind Jack Eugenie and maybe Lady Louise chatting it wasn't easy with the position but I didn't see anyone left out. Then yes there was a moment when the anthem started but Charles and Camillia had similar and in fairness Harry was probably hyper aware because imagine the headlines if Meghan was seen chatting over the anthem.

The queen also seemed a little subdued to me but the rest I honestly didn't see any of that.
