I can't stop watching their uploads on to youtube. I'm not convinced that buying a bag is ever an investment! And I wouldn't buy a channel flap or a Louis Vuitton Alma as they're too 'formal' looking for me, but I like watching them review their bags.

And i"m losing perspective, I'm starting to think Chloe bags are gorgeous bargains. They are gorgeous alright.

If you had a big birthday coming up and you wanted to buy a bag, what would you dream of owning.

@WhoKnewBeefStew oh it is beautiful!! Love the cloudy blue colour! Let us know what you can fit in it and maybe if this is not too weird, take a pic of what fits in it. Im still saving away for a chloe tess large saddle bag (in cloudy blue if it comes in cloudy blue, not sure the large does tho). I worry even the large not big enough for wallet book keys phone and a few other tiny bits squeezed in around that.

Some pics for you.... I put the items photos in it and there was plenty of space left. The catch is the only thing I think I'm not completely satisfied with, as it's really fiddly to get undone. But I'm sure I can live with that Grin

Oh and one more point, it's heavier than I expected. Not Mullberry weight, but you know it's there and will last I think

It’s really beautiful, gorgeous colour. Enjoy!

Absolutely love it

I'm in the market for a grey/silver bag.

What do all ye bag ladies think of the Diorama?

I want it to be funky/cool. Will mainly use for evenings out but want it to look good with jeans and a T as well if needed....

Thoughts?

Any better ones you can suggest?

I’d love a Dior handbag. Ever since we visited the shop in Rome

Ninkaninus · 29/06/2019 11:40

Me too, I think I’d buy a Dior before a Chanel.

Lil eh, I’m not sure on that one tbh. I think an actual deep grey might be nicer. But that’s probably just a personal bias I’ve got at the moment - I’m just moving out of a phase where I liked metallics to not really being that keen. It’s a nice bag though and sounds like it fits your brief.

@lilpumpsmum I love that dior bag! I do like the chanel flap and it's like a shorthand code for ''i get bags'' but that one you linked too is much more unusual and I like that not everybody would recognise it instantly. I would only have recognised it myself fairly recently to be honest, since I started watching ''my bag collection'' clips on youtube! {guilty pleasure]

unboxaLoeweHammock · 29/06/2019 17:32

@WhoKnewBeefStew oh thanks for showing us what actually fits in the bag! I hope it's sparking LOTS of joy !

lilpumpsmum · 30/06/2019 14:33

@unboxaLoeweHammock yes, my sentiments exactly. I like that although it's shiny silver (Grin) it's quite discreet with no logos over it.

Wandered around Harrods accessories hall yesterday and saw some Tom Ford bags were half price eeeek. Had to walk away quickly quickly.

Does anyone here have any experience of Bottega Veneta bags? The most I've ever spent on a bag is £300 but DH knows that I coo over the BV weave design and I think he might be thinking about getting me one for my 50th in the Autumn. I've done some research though and some people say the leather is so soft it marks easily. Also, I wonder how long the weave would last/if it would slacken over time. I don't think I could allow him to spend that much!! I really think it's a thing of beauty and I like the understatedness of it...
