@ninka the M Jigsaw jacket is back in stock, go go go Grin

Ninkaninus · 04/06/2019 20:57

Argggh I really can’t afford it this month. Tbf I’ve already bought so much stuff and I think the M probably will be on the big side. Oh no I just don’t know what to do!

dontcallmelen · 04/06/2019 20:59

Nink maybe just try it & if it’s not totally perfect, then straight back it goes.

twosoups1972 · 04/06/2019 21:03

Agree with melen Grin

NotAnActualSheep · 04/06/2019 21:13

Ditto nink! It's something you've had your eye on for ages, and were annoyed at yourself for dithering Grin . If it's too big, it's too big and you can send it back, and if not, great!

Yy len! He hasn't actually watched it for a couple of years now, but the songs and enthusiasm definitely all came back when he heard about the workshop... We have been trying to encourage him with his confidence for a while, but if this is what it takes, then fair enough!

Ninkaninus · 04/06/2019 21:15

Ok I have secured it!

So much for a no-spend month! Hmm

twosoups1972 · 04/06/2019 21:17

That’s good ninka now I’m just on the hunt for a S for me!

Ninkaninus · 04/06/2019 21:19

Thank you soups for letting me know, fingers crossed for you too! Smile

twosoups1972 · 04/06/2019 21:28

Hope it fits you nink

Laska2Meryls · 04/06/2019 21:34

Not you look fab in the skirt and top, (I think I missed Huff wearing it , but it is great . Oh, and congrats to t your DS!

Also happy anniversary to Fuzzy and Cherries

Nink ..the jacket!! you are as bad as me Grin Wink.. I ordered some Jigsaw compton jeans from the ebay outlet today but they were only £29 and may not fit , as I have no real idea of the sizing . I'm becoming a bit of a Jigsaw convert, ( but I cannot afford to be )

Goodluck great Jumpsuit , you look really good in it..

I have just got my first 'mention me' referral for ages, and it looks like it works!, Trouble is there is nothing I really want to buy now.. ..

Ellapaella · 04/06/2019 22:07

@NotAnActualSheep I am feeling your swashbuckle excitement! My 4 year old ds would love the chance to do that!

GinandGingerBeer · 04/06/2019 22:13

Evening all Smile
Back to reality with a bump today, getting drenched on the way back from work. Boo. However I still have the six weeks holidays off as non contracted even though I don't have kids at school So I do have that to look forward to.
@laska, love the jigsaw cover up with tassle looks fab, and the MV dress is gorgeous! What did your DH think of it? I love it.
Liking the balance and white jumpsuit @goodluckandgodspeed like your necklace too.

Happy anniversary to fuzzy and cherries Fancy that!GinCake
I miss my swashbuckling days @Not (well miss the kids being that age rather than jumping off furniture myself! Grin)
My youngest DS went to school in some form of fancy dress every day for years (no school uniform) His Dr Who phase was interesting as despite there being no uniform, (it was the David tennant era) he wore a suit and converse every day for months! Including a full fortnight in majorca in August Grin Happy Days

goodluckandgodspeed · 04/06/2019 22:18

Jumpsuit is river island ella
I really like their clothes at the moment!

Huffthepuff · 04/06/2019 22:26

Not the skirt and top look fab on you! It's a great option to have a matching skirt and top option that you can mix and match or wear as a dress effectively. I was so tempted by the top (and may end up getting if it goes in the sale) so I'm glad you tried and love. They really do look great 😍

Huffthepuff · 04/06/2019 22:30

Also, super excited for your little swashbuckler! That's so great!

justilou1 · 04/06/2019 23:01

Ack! If it’s not raining, it’s pouring! I hold Medical Power of Attorney for my elderly uncle and it seems he’s becoming more and more confused. I need to go and visit him to see for myself where he’s sitting cognitively compared to last time I saw him. The good news is that he lives in my beloved Melbourne. The bad news is that I really love this old man, and he’s going to be cagey. (No other family.) I can see a few more trips this year! I am a bit over being a grown up!!!

Ellapaella · 04/06/2019 23:01

Lol at your ds going as David Tenant @GinandGingerBeer Smile My eldest who is now 17 used to spend all day in reception dressed up as Harry Potter - fake specs and all! So sweet. What I wouldn't give to go back in time for 1 day to see that again. They grow big too quickly.

ilovecherries · 05/06/2019 08:42

. I’ve missed you guys! I’ve just pressed send on my work so nothing planned for today. If the rain stays off while I get dressed, will start with a long dog walk, and move on to taking a magazine to the coffee shop.

It is a good morning, albeit a wet one.

I spelt last night for the first time since Friday night. From 1am till 8.30. I feel hooman again.

I’m sitting waiting for my son in the barber and I just nabbed a pair of Monaco in blueberry in 12. Happy days. With my voucher it makes them even sweeter.

On the downside my youngest son goes away today to the west of Ireland to speak and learn Irish for 3 weeks. It’s the longest we will be apart and I’ll miss him. Then my middle child goes to Spain on Sunday to study and learn Spanish for 3 weeks! The eldest, DD (19) will be in her element for a while. I just hope I don’t fret too much.

(I am ignoring the fact that some orange-faced d!ckwad gombeen is arriving on our shores today and hoping he trips off the cliffs of Moher into the Atlantic while he’s here)

NotAnActualSheep · 05/06/2019 09:27

Yay cherries! So glad you're done... Its such a good feeling to send that last submission email and have a well earned lazy day... Grin Now to think what you're going to spend the pay on!

just - oh, what a nightmare. I'm so sorry you're going through that as well. Being grown up is definitely not what it's cracked up to be. Flowers for you.

Lol at the mini David Tenants and Harry Potters Grin. That's so cute!

And thanks laska and huff! Yes, I like the versatility, and there definitely has to be a bonus, as it would be pretty expensive for a dress alone, even with the 10% off! ( not thinking about that...) I'm pretty sure the top (and prob skirt) will be reduced further, as it is pricey... but I think both will be useful.

Right, need to start work now. Really not feeling the love for today... Its grey and rainy and I have rubbish stuff to do. Pah.

NotAnActualSheep · 05/06/2019 09:31

Yay miffy! Glad you managed some sleep... Was that just the painkillers, or are the drugs working on your ear yet? And double good on the Monaco! That does sound a long time for your DC to be away, though, but good for you to give them the opportunity (and them... sounds hard work!).

Laska2Meryls · 05/06/2019 11:37

Gin I didn't give DH the chance in the end(he's not back until Friday) have sent it back.. regretfully, but I am being practical and also saw the size of my potential credit card bill!! It's a really lovely dress but our holidays are usually scuffing around on beaches etc andthetesno posh places to go and eat where we go.. sointhe end £89 just seemed to expensive for a dress I probably would not wear more than a couple of evenings ..
I have also sent back mustard Salties and my brand alley order Inc the skirt as decided it didn't really go with anything, And my Monaco's, and the ' perfect Jigsaw cardi!! ( Only as it was 91 and looked like it would shed ..reviews also confirmed that . I would give it another go if they reduced it by another 30 or so l). And the yellow stripe M&S top..

So what have I keptof the myriad I was recently tried? Jigsaw crops .olive Salties olive stripe top ( all worn already ) Jigsaw kaftan and jigsaw sunnies.still waiting for my belle Lingerie bikini which Post office has sent to wrong place they tell me Hmm

ilovecherries · 05/06/2019 11:44

My belle lingerie bikini tops arrived the other day but never got a chance to try them till today. A 32F fits perfectly. Even beside last year’s 32K they look teeny tiny - to the extent that when I opened the package I thought they’d sent the wrong size. Beside 2017’s 40K they are doll size. I’m now beginning to understand why I seemed to get less in my suitcase than everyone else!

Laska2Meryls · 05/06/2019 11:49

I'd buy the skirt again if it goes cheaper in the summer sale but I'd dye it blue.. but £25 is too expensive for that Smile.
Miffy the orange blimp is just over the water from me in Portsmouth, saw the barriers and precautions at the weekend. It's pretty disgusting because it means that no members of the public can go to the DDay ceremony because he is there. Her Mag has been down to these kind of things many times without all this £££ security level. I can't stand the man, ..

Laska2Meryls · 05/06/2019 11:52

Brilliantcherries!! Smile
I'm really hating my boobs right now, they are like a huge shelf .. but stil need to lose at least a stone before I make an appointment to see someone to discuss
