Ouch. Just been at plates and everything hurts. I didn't even know I had muscles in my armpits, but they are definitely objecting... One of my "classmates" is off to ibiza too next week len! The instructor's mum has a plates studio on the mainland but a short ferry ride from ibiza, so she was recommending there as a little day trip as it's a cute little town with lovely restaurants etc (denia?). Hope you feel a bit more in the packing mood tomorrow - you do have some lovely stuff... You just need to get your holiday mojo back!
And soups too. Sorry you're feeling down
. I second the
prescription (and I am an actual Dr, but only of any use if you happen to want to know about pine trees). Hope the big hair cheers you up (I know not of the device of which you speak... My hair wouldn't do big if you fed it cake for a month...) Have you tried oasis or mango for dresses? There looked to be a few nice ones when I last went into an actual shop. Wallis is sometimes good too, but at the moment they just seem to be a sea of really horrible patterns (imo) on polyester--though that's just looking on their website. They have a sale on, though. Love noodle's dress too... the pink version is v summery.
Re ebay - yy, it is quite a gamble. I do buy from there but only if I've tried on the garment or something v similar previously, or I can get proper measurements from the seller. I have had a few bad buys before I started doing that (sizes from a few years ago in a known brand not being the same as current sizing, for example) - but I treat it as a bit of fun really, and don't get too invested in any particular item. Some things go for silly money... A toast silk dress I thought was pretty the other week, and would have bid about £20 for to have a look went for about £155 in the end
.
laska love the pink shirt with the shorts - it looks such a nice fresh outfit! And the cobalt blue bikini is lovely (oh yes, you did properly rock the bikini the other day, before that thread went nasty - I was so behind on posts I forgot to say! ). Love that floaty nomad shirt and the necklace too. Thanks for the comment on the dress and culottes... the gingham blouse is going back... I liked the idea (once I decided it wasn't too school uniform-y) but it had odd puffy sleeves, and also was a bit tight over the bust (even mine) in the largest size they had. And I don't really wear blouses as much as I think I will.
soy Welcome back!! Hope you've bought better Mediterranean weather back with you, and glad you had a lovely time relaxing with your family
. And also never - hope things are a bit less crazy with work. Really looking forward to seeing the dungarees... And agree at that cost they will need to be perfection!
cherries have your boobs screwed themselves back yet? How exciting getting nice new bras (even if you want to keep the comfy compression ones)!! We use insure and go too... DH has an existing condition that lots of places seem to flinch at, and it seems a reasonable cost for us, but I would try len's suggestion too to see if it's a better price.
