That’s nice, laska, I like pink and khaki as well - in fact, the only way I can wear khaki really is with pink.

I have ordered some new bras from belle lingerie as well, in the hope I can wear them soon. The compression bras are so comfy though, that the thought of wearing anything else is a bit bleurgh. They do give mono boob though and they aren’t very glamorous!

@Ella gorgeous top, so pretty and summery. Do you buy much on Ebay? I always worry it's a bit of a gamble especially if they don't return things. You can get some great bargains though.

twosoups1972 · 12/06/2019 16:39

@laska I like the pink shirt a lot and the bikini top is lovely, great colour.

twosoups1972 · 12/06/2019 16:40

Arrggh anyone else find MN is still playing up? If I press return to start a new paragraph, it deletes what I've typed!

twosoups1972 · 12/06/2019 16:43

The Mint Velvet dress was a disappointment, too tight on the bust/shoulders and the v neck was too low cut. I'd had high hopes for it but never mind. I have also ordered a Warehouse dress which is nice, will post a picture later. Where else can I look for nice floaty summer dresses (that don't look frumpy!)?

ilovecherries · 12/06/2019 16:43

soups my strategy with eBay is to be ruthless with reselling. So I never bid a stupid price, I try to stick to a price I believe I can resell at, and if I don’t like it when it comes, it’s straight back on eBay. Sometimes you lose a couple of pounds, but I’ve also actually made a profit on occasions (once made £60 on one item, but that is rare! I’m pretty sure I break even overall though.

That sounds good @cherries I've been selling quite a bit here and there. Don't get much for each item but it does add up.

twosoups1972 · 12/06/2019 16:50

I'm not having a good week. Probably having a whinge but I don't like how I'm looking at the moment. Don't like my clothes, don't like my hair. All a bit rubbish. And the weather doesn't help! Just ordered a Babyliss Big Hair to help with the hair problem.

grannycake · 12/06/2019 16:57

soups I have the Babyliss big hair and is definitely makes a difference. I can't always see it myself but I often get compliments on my hair and it's always when I've used the big hair. Still likely to wash and leave though - lazy

Ellapaella · 12/06/2019 17:00

@twosoups1972 I do buy quite a few bits on eBay. I look for certain labels that I like that are out of my price range new but that I am familiar with sizing. I'm quite selective and will have an amount I'm prepared to pay for something and not go over that.
Whistles and All Saints are great on eBay - people sell loads and prices aren't silly.
I have a bit of an obsession about Sezane on eBay but so many things I'm watching go for ridiculous prices and people seem to be prepared to by things for the original new price which is ridiculous considering you then can't return them.

twosoups1972 · 12/06/2019 17:27

Anyone know when the Hush sale might start?

dontcallmelen · 12/06/2019 17:39

cherries I got it through travel insurance 4medical, used them a couple of times & have never been declined, the policy I just got was annual for Europe including Spain & was 103.00 found them a lot cheaper than insure n go, found them very helpful when I realised last year I had missed off one of my ailments & they amended straight away with no extra cost.

ilovecherries · 12/06/2019 17:52

Oh, thanks len, I will try them, hope I didn’t seem rude interrogating you, it’s just such a depressing process for me and DD - by the time I’ve bought it, I’m just ‘ok, next call to the undertaker’. I think last year we were about £700 for an annual family policy, and that was just for Europe. If we go to the US it doubles it, but we tend to just top-up the annual policy if we want to go there, rather than taking US for the full year - we aren’t dashing back and forward across the Atlantic. DH’s bit was about £65, DD and I were the rest.

Cherries that’s fine I totally get how bloody depressing it is, I do the same get a top up if we were going too America or the Caribbean.
I always find myself holding my breathe, when waiting for the medical cost to be added on to the policy Yy waiting for them to say feck off to the undertakers😂

dontcallmelen · 12/06/2019 18:41

Soups I have a big hair, find it very useful for finishing my hair off no good for just dating though, as you would be at it all day.
Maybe have a look at French connection or ghost they usually have some nice dresses.

dontcallmelen · 12/06/2019 18:43

Soups definitely weather not helping, I feel exactly the same at the moment, I’m meant to be packing for my holiday & currently hate everything I have.

dontcallmelen · 12/06/2019 18:45

Laska your haul is lovely, Yy khaki & pink one of my favourite combos.

dontcallmelen · 12/06/2019 18:57

drying ffs

twosoups1972 · 12/06/2019 19:03

Still peeing down with rain here. I’m going to cheer myself up with a fish finger buttie

twosoups1972 · 12/06/2019 19:05

Oh dear @melen do you think you’ll do some shopping there?

SoyYo · 12/06/2019 19:11

Quick wave 👋 I landed in a grey Stansted an hour ago and nearly home. Oh dear really gloomy grey day here specially after 11 days of sunshine!
Caught up and wanted to say thanks to @FuzzyPuffling for the lovely comment I did feel like bursting into “Dancing Queen” at the time 😎

@goodluckandgodspeed great oversized jacket
@Ellapaella such a pretty peasant embroidered top
@Laska2Meryls great linen shirt love that shade of pink and the Fantasie bikini top blue is fab
@NotAnActualSheep yes on the belted dress!

How weird now MN is letting me tag you with full names? Shock they just come up when I start typing your names maybe that’s why the site was funny as they were doing this tagging upgrade?

@dontcallmelen not long now till you go off to the sun! Lovely colours on your new trainers

I did get a couple of bits in Spain. Will share later

neveradullmoment99 · 12/06/2019 19:23

Hello everyone :) Glad to see you back @SoYo and the photos were great. Love the linen shirt @Laska2Meryls. It looks great and the bikini top looks an amazing colour with a tan.
As for me, just ordered the new linen Toast dungarees. They look really nice but tbh, they are really expensive. I had a friends discount but at £110 [ after the discount] they will need to be perfect.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/06/2019 19:24

Its been sunny then mostly grey here too. No rain though. It has been showery. Where is our summer?

neveradullmoment99 · 12/06/2019 19:26

That doesn't make sense. I meant it has not rained today. It has been showery other days!
