Oh, I like the Alice Temperley one, laska, although I had been trying to avoid a wrap. I find I’m always re-tying, plus if I need a jacket the bow always messes with the line. Having said that, was also looking at this one can’t guarantee I will be able to come out of a surgical bra within the next two weeks either, which adds another layer of complexity to the neckline. Wondering if I need to panic buy a Kensington from Hush for a back up.

I reckon you'll go for the Hobbs cherries 🙂

NotAnActualSheep · 07/06/2019 10:11

Oh no - what a shame cherries. At least you noticed before the actual day! I'll have a look this afternoon, though i have to say i do like the zebra ghost one laska has linked. In the spirit of this being a hush thread - have you considered the Beatrix maxi? i reckon that would work with trainers and its very pretty. Or in the spirit of my purchases yesterday - i love the colours on this and indeed this - though the reviews aren't promising.... Understand they are totally marmite, though...

I was going to ask the same about the years supply laska Grin . Surely that depends whether you work at home and get bored how large your family is?! Love that jumper - and i was also tempted by the skirt - though I do have a navy one very like it - and also the green one huff and i bought...so thought I'd try something a bit different.

NotAnActualSheep · 07/06/2019 10:17

Oh - yes that baukjen one is lovely. But yy - the starry kensington would be great...pretty and floaty, and you can button up the neck as much as you feel comfortable.

Laska2Meryls · 07/06/2019 10:19

Or the Hush Lilium scroll down and you can see the model wearing it with trainers !

ilovecherries · 07/06/2019 10:37

I hate panic buying. I’m never sure exactly what size I will be, then I have to think of shoes, potential bra issues and hair! All before I even get to accessories. Argh.

Right, I’ve ordered two from Hush, the Baukjen one, and the Alice one. I was so busy with the cc my bank has just phoned for a security check.

Or, I have the multistripe marina - could I do anything with that?

Laska2Meryls · 07/06/2019 10:54

Which Hush ones cherries (I really thought you'd plump for the Hobbs !!)

Laska2Meryls · 07/06/2019 11:07

it would have to be something simple to go with that skirt maybe Navy?

Ellapaella · 07/06/2019 11:47

Agree on Hush Lilium

Ellapaella · 07/06/2019 11:47

It's lovely

ilovecherries · 07/06/2019 11:48

The lily the Kensington as it’s getting low stock again and ittill be my fall back if all else fails - I know it fits and suits me. I’m still tempted by the Hobbs, but the reviews aren’t great. I have a navy Ravello from Boden - that might work. Or might not, might look a bit frumpy. Thanks Laska and everyone. Just leaving to pitch for a new piece of work. I know, I know, retirement, blah, blah. Anyway, just to prove I can dress myself sometimes - Keiras, Boden shirt, M&S. faux leather biker. All size 12

I love that whistles Dress ella,

*cherries you look great in the outfit you have just posted. Do you really need to wear a dress to the graduation? That outfit is lovely! wear that ! Or get the Bryce in navy and wear with a nice top ?

If you really want to be scared.. I have just posted a photo of me in my bikini on the 'can I wear a bikini with a fat tum thread'.. Blush

Ellapaella · 07/06/2019 11:58

Yes I agree with laska - you look lovely in that!

ilovecherries · 07/06/2019 12:12

I have only been saved from buying that Whistles dress by the fact is has a big cut out at the waist on the back. Phew. You are all very kind, I don’t HAVE to have a dress, I just feel a dress might lift the trainers a little. I do have the Bryce culottes, they developed a bit of a workwear vibe in my head though. I’ve ordered the Hobbsone as well, just for a look. I think I’ve whacked about a grand on my cc this morning. £900 will be going back on though!

Monaco trousers disappointing thought they’d be abit baggier and the length is weird. The one hundred stars scarf for £8 is very nice but I can’t say the same about the kimono. I just don’t know where I’d wear it.

@EachandEveryone I like them on you!

@each wasn't Rocketman a great film? I felt like sobbing the whole way through, the way his dad treated him.

@ella just been reading about your ds. It's going to a huge wrench for you but it's so great he knows what he wants to do and is focussed. My oldest dd decided to go away to boarding school for Sixth Form 2 years ago. Initially I found it very hard but I told myself that she's be going away to university 2 years later anyway so it's just come a bit early. When we dropped her off I felt awful but tried to keep the tears away until we were on our way home. I didn't like seeing her empty room at home. But you know what - we all got used to it pretty quickly. People asked me if I missed her, of course I did but if she was happy, then I was happy. And she settled in really well and loved the school. Of course she's had recent problems with depression/anxiety this year but that was to do with the workload which would have happened even if she'd been at home.

You will always be your ds' mum and the fact that you support what he wants to do is fantastic.

Each spot the photo-bombing pusscat! The Kimono is a lovely pattern but looks big on you and as its creased its difficult to see properly would be good for holiday though..

Here are my Monaco trousers in 12 just arrived also ! They are better in that I can kneel in them and I dont think too baggy on me .. I like the length on me. Maybe I am a bit taller than you , each ?

Also Chino shorts I had on waitlist , definite keepers.. (I knew they would be as have the blue already )

Black V vest and leopard 3/4 leggings .. I wouldn't usually wear them like this , but just so you can see.

So all keepers which I am pleased for as all with discount .. Mirror is v dusty I see though.. Blush

Oh no @cherries, what a shame. I'm sure you will find something else especially with us lot helping you! Have you looked at Boden? They've got loads of smart dresses in the sale.

I will post a picture of my new trainers later.

It's a horrible rainy day here today. I have been busy cooking - dh's cousin from Canada is over for work and he is coming to us tonight for dinner. Just made meringues for Eton Mess Smile

@ninka that scarf is so beautiful, such gorgeous colours. Did the Jigsaw embroidered jacket arrive yet??
