Anyone bought anything from this online store? I like some of the summer dresses but worry they be terrible quality and the risks of sending back and refunds etc

Bumping @rainydogday as I found this thread searching for impartial reviews. I've currently got a basket full on their website but would like others' opinions on their quality and service before shelling out.

I'm in the same position, I've got a basket full of stuff, and fair enough it says you can return it BUT I'm not sure where they are based as they say somewhere it can take more than a couple of weeks to arrive. That makes me wonder if thinbgs like VAT and other import duties will be applied and push up the cost, and make it just far too complicated. I've emailled them to enquire, will report back if they reply. xG

I’ve done exactly the same! Basket full just waiting for some positive vibes! If you scroll down to the bottom of the site there’s a link called Hesimple. I checked the reviews on trust pilot and they seemed pretty good. I’m still a bit dubious though, it all seems too good to be true 😊

I like some of the cropped cotton baggy trousers...... (one review says perfect for their mother in a nursing home- which made me re-think as I am only 39!)Yes report back on delivery info!!

I’ve never bought from them but would like to give a warning. I read the small print at the end and it mentions extra import charges, vat etc for ‘European countries such as .....the UK.’ I posted a comment about this on their fb thread -suggesting that this might make it tricky to return goods for a full refund - and it was deleted. I then commented again and my comment was again, deleted. The thread was then removed from my timeline. The clothes look lovely and I was very tempted but wouldn’t go near them now. I hope I’m proved wrong if any of you have ordered.

Exactly what I am concernead about. I have messaged them about it today but not heard back yet. Previously I have bought from both China and America and had problems. The order from America cost almost as much in taxes as the thing I bought - I didn't even pay and recieve the item, I gave up as I didn't want to end up paying all that money and finding it wasn't suitable. The twice I bought from China were a disaster, once was a cosplay costuime for my son and it arrived so late the event had passed and the other time they seemed totally confused about both colour and sizes, plus it wasn't the brand advertized, just a copy (luckily I paid on credit card and got a refund). I'm very wary of buying from outside Europe now.

I ordered some trousers about 2 weeks ago. I've just had an email to say they've been shipped so I'll let you know!

I've also got a bag full of stuff but not confident. I would really be interested in Imarried's trousers!
I sent them an email about sizing last week and got a reply yesterday that was completely unrelated to my question. Very fishy.

They haven't replied to my email yet, will wait and see. Not confident at all now.

I love the shape of the trousers which appear on the Facebook ad, but I'm nervous about the VAT/customs duty issue, so looking forward to hearing about other people' experience.

I like the look of some of their tops but am wary as unsure of the quality. Plus they don't seem to be based in the UK and any returns are at the sender's expense...

Interesting that you can pay by paypal though, which usually reassures me...

The question remains, will a demand from inland revenue turn up and need paying before the parcle is delivered?

It'll be shit. The sizes, quality or paying tax on import.

Well, finally heard back from them. In my email I asked where they were based but they didn't say. They sent the following response (I've redacted my name) which doesn't clarify what the additional costs will be, particularly for returns in regard to import taxes:

Hi *,

If you want to return after you receive the package ,you can contact us within 15 days from the delivered date.

We cannot confirm how much is shipping fee.

We also cannot confirm the taxes/import duty .

I had a look from where I am, because of their name "damensein" = "being ladies". Their homepage does not have the legally requiered 'Impressum', and there is no German language option available, so I conclude they are not based in Germany despite the German sounding name (which no German native speaker would choose anyway), or they are not above board.
I'd be wary.

Likewise @Tillymint67. Something doesn't add up here and it has so much potential to go wrong.

I had a thread in this recently. In the end I didn’t buy but am so tempted because at those prices, it seems amazing value. The only thing that we have here in similar styles is Poetry and I definitely can’t afford £125 for a pair of linen trees 😐

Good grief, the reviews are all over the place.

I also wouldn’t know where to begin with sizing.

Also like the clothes but just found a review that says it's a scam.

Hi everyone , I made the mistake and ordered few items from damensein please don’t make the same mistake . Goods were ordered nearly month a go only one item has arrived and it was a bad quality trying to get my money back from pay pal .
