This is a flashback in the absence of much fashion this weekend. Prince Oscar of Sweden’s Christening it looks like a very grand, public affair with the Danes and Norwegians in attendance. The Scandinavian royals socialist se together a lot!

It’s the week after when the Trumps arrive and then Trooping the Colour on the Saturday that we will see a bit more fashion.
I wonder whether Meghan will attend. I think not. She has no nanny yet; unless Doria comes back again to help.

They are practically all linked back to Queen Victoria or Christian of Denmark.
(Basically Victoria and Albert’s prolific sex life was responsible for most of European Royalty!)

Granddaughter of Queen Victoria and grandmother of the current king of Sweden. She was very interesting and sadly died young.

I loved CPM Marc Jacobs dress (the orange one) too - looked so much better on her than the model.

Scandinavian royals are all around each other I agree - but I think they’d love to rekindle the ties to the British RF who have kept themselves to themselves in a very grand fashion. W&K visiting was a big deal. The UK RF have snubbed all the weddings (someone came - Edward? - but obv not deemed very important by the seniors).

Estelle is amazing, such an engaging and well-behaves child. She manages to look interested in everything, even if she's attending an event that must be pretty boring for a child her age!

Kate attended last year when Louis was very young but he's her third, plus they had a nanny and lived in KO. But you never know, H&M may have someone in place by then but I'm guessing the tabloids will find a way to bitch about Meghan over it whether she attends or not!

Haha I think it's great. Also, in Sweden this is fine, generally we are tolerant of kids being kids, as long as they don't scream the house down. It was nice that these christenings became family affairs and very much like "normal" christenings are up and down the country where siblings act up every day. :)

A trip to Kensington Palace was very fun for seeing these beauties, and the pink satin Diana dress. The Victoria exhibition is well worth a gander.
