I had the Charles and Diana book! I'd forgotten all about it.

I had both of those Ladybird books. If we ever move house and need to clear our loft they are probably packed in a box of things I kept after mum sold the house I'd grown up in.

We had the Diana one. It was the one with the photo of her with a gerbil as a child, it was called Peanut I think and 5 year old me was astonished at the sophistication of someone owning such a thing.

We also owned the Wedding one.

But gutted they were dumped.

Charlene out and about today. I'm not very keen on the olive green suit, but she looks great in the black leather leggings and black top.

She always looks so ill at ease standing next to Albert.

Actually not leather leggings just black trousers.

Why have they got to watch out for pedestrians?!

@Myimaginarycathasfleas I think they're supporting a road safety campaign, which seems to coincide rather oddly with the Monaco Grand Prix!

The money the FIA (owners of motor racing) get from F1 is used to fund all their road safety projects so whenever the F1 circus is in town there will be a few road safety events using teams, drivers and FIA people. The toady looking bloke next to Albert is Jean Todt who is in charge of the FIA and has somehow been with Michelle Yeoh for ages, which is why she's in the picture too.

He bears an uncanny resemblance to Mel Brooks!

Rania does look lovely there, love the gold belt. But as many on these threads have said before, she needs to stop messing around with her beautiful face.

In the past Rania has dressed so well, but her recent western clothes have been a bit outlandish. I much prefer her in her traditional clothes. She still accessorises beautifully.

Abdullah has never been a particularly handsome man but his face has a nice lived-in quality now. Rania by contrast is a beautiful woman but the Botox and fillers now make her look older as it's like she trying too hard to stop the ageing process.

@beanaseireann I know I heard nothing of the Swedish royals state visit until they were on the front of the paper. There mustn’t have been any fancy state dinner last night cos Leo was at the Spice Girls in Croke Park.
