Same, although I guess she's been here about a month and has a job and dogs to get back to.

Word has it that BFF Jessica has just arrived in the UK so maybe she is taking over new-mom support duties from Doria.

BlingLoving · 22/05/2019 16:52

I bet Doria will be back soon or that Meghan and baby will decamp to LA to be with her. That's the kind of thing that happens in my extended family and friends of people who live far from parents.

itswinetime · 22/05/2019 16:56

Harry seems to be on a reduced schedule at the moment still. And while they may not have a staff to speak of I'm sure there are cleaners ect. So I'm sure Meghan and Harry are capable of looking after Archie and themselves in fact it might even be nice to have some time as a family of 3. Not many people have parents move in for long periods after the birth. And as pp said Doria had her own life going on.

It's lovely that she came and was involved but I don't think it's odd she has gone home I'm sure she will back over soon soonish for the christening and just general visits.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/05/2019 16:58

I don't think Doria will be a regular feature of their day to day life. She has a job and Meghan isn't exactly family orientated. Before anyone jumps on me I'm not either - I can't think of anything worse than my mum moving in.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 22/05/2019 17:08

Wellington School is very minor, I went to a school nearish, and it’s significantly cheaper than most others.

And has amongst its alumni dear Jeffrey Archer, who implied he went to the much swankier Wellington College.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 22/05/2019 17:15

I agree, Doria going home is not newsworthy. She's been around longer than most grandmothers. They will relish being just the three of them. Still think H&M will move away from the UK as soon as possible. It was certainly rumoured by "a source" Hmmthat they were looking for a place in California.

queenofarles · 22/05/2019 17:26

I think Doria is a bit of a free spirit, and might find living here stifling.

Moving to California won’t bring them any privacy for . Here the RF can control the press , God’s luck doing that in The US.

I luffs Hadley ❤️❤️❤️

itswinetime · 22/05/2019 17:48

So I have some bad news..... the double breasted suit is already back!!

Edward Sophie and Eugenie were at a party for Duke of Edinburgh awards today I think.

I do like Eugenie's dress and I'm trying to find a better photo of Sophie

Really like Sophie’s dress there. They’re all out and about a lot this week!

LoversLane · 22/05/2019 18:21

We are go treated to a lot of royal fashion lately. After the famine comes the feast so to speak.

Good to see that Max is on Her maximum hat and sleeves today during her third day in Germany. Amazed at the level of ‘cleareance’ she must have around her to make sure she doesn’t crash into people especially during photo ops.

I absolutely love the outfit though! It is so her!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 22/05/2019 18:23

And the air kissing! How on earth does she manage? Or maybe that's her way of saying "don't come too close!". Those sleeves are worthy of Donna in Suits.Grin

QueenOfTheAndals · 22/05/2019 18:26

Oh Edward! One brief shining moment and then back to the double-breasted suits!

Eugenie doesn't look remotely pregnant so I think that was wishful thinking on @Curly's part Grin She does however look very much like a young Andrew in those photos.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 22/05/2019 18:26

The Royals seem to like a signature look don't they? Edward's is definitely the double breasted suit. His current style is very stodgy and makes him look older than he actually is. I think he should be brave and go three piece.Shock

Edward is the child who most resembles the Queen, I think.

QueenOfTheAndals · 22/05/2019 18:33

Yes he certainly does look like his mother. He's not bad-looking and fairly tall and slim - I think he could do a lot better on the style front. Sophie needs to have a word! She herself looks so much better now than she did when she first joined the royal family. Remember when she dressed like this? Well it was the noughties...

Sophie's dress is nice I like it. She seemed to me anyway to loose her way for a while Sophie but recently she has had quite a few hits for me anyway I wonder if she is working with a new stylist

FlyMayBe · 22/05/2019 18:42

Loving Sophie's dress

beanaseireann · 22/05/2019 18:47

I liked Kate's coat yesterday but not the hat.
Usually I love her hats. She wore a pink one once some years back. It was like a rose - very pale pink- it was divine.
Kate and her Mum like a coat dress.
Pippa not so much.

beanaseireann · 22/05/2019 18:51

CurlyWurlyTwirly
Princess Caroline looks so like Stephanie in those photographs.
Her daughter with Ernest of Hanover inherited her father's looks.

MoonstoneMagic · 22/05/2019 18:56

How come Eugenie can get time off work to go to Royal engagements? She isn't a working Royal, she's supposed to have a full time job!

itswinetime · 22/05/2019 18:59

Has anyone ever said she is full time?? Genuine question I know she has a job but I haven't ever heard it's full time.

And she works at an art gallery maybe the get time of in lieu for evening events 🤷🏻‍♀️

QueenOfTheAndals · 22/05/2019 19:09

I'm sure Eugenie's work is more than understanding of her need to take time off for royal duties. I imagine it's the sort of place where it's who you know rather than what you know that's important.

SunshineCake · 22/05/2019 19:25

The Queen was nearer Gabriella than her mother due to her ranking. The Queen was closer to Eugenie than her parents in her wedding photographs too.
