@Thedarklady well she did something about school gardens a couple of years ago amongst other stuff with the RHS.

I know Kate's legs are proportionately not long, but I wish i had that 'problem'! (esp as she's in flats, they look great here).

Erdem dress was awful though. It looks so dowdy

Does she have a genuine interest in gardening?

Not sure if she has an interest in gardening as such but she has spoken a lot about the importance of being outdoors and how much her and her family enjoy it.

I would think she is being lined up as patron once The Queen is no longer able. This is the most PR I have seen from the Cambridges I think to promote a project.

I think that black and white dress on Kate is absolutely awful. Love the culottes , don't like the other dress either. She seems to be channelling a prim schoolmarm vibe which doesn't do anything for her.She's a stunningly beautiful woman, I don't know why she wears such ageing dresses sometimes.

Sophie's dress is lovely. Interesting they are both wearing wedges. It's great to see so many Royals out to support her and the garden. She Queen looks great. Beatrice also looks awful. Where is Harry?

I think Kate is just prim through and through. She has no fashion sense whatsoever. But she always looks very appropriate.

I think Sophie looks great but the white espadrilles jar - I think a different colour would have looked better.

Leti looks great in that floral dress, and I love her make up.

Kate: its a big thumbs down from me for that Erdem monstrosity dress but I love that broderie anglaise blouse, and actually think the culottes worked pretty well too. A very nice change for her.

Laura Ashley was doing frocks just like Kate's Erdem back in the 1970s.

Sophie looks really good.

Have we seen Max today? I don't like the shape and colour of her hat at all.

I'm enjoying the new photos of the Sussex wedding released today. Love the one of William and Harry in the stairwell.

Kate does not look her best in those curtains.

Beatrice the coat is too dark I think and the shoes are odd

Good lord!! Who knew Edward was a MNetter? The single breasted suit is a welcome departure!

Sophie's dress is by the same brand that did the green dress Kate wore in George's first birthday photos

Beatrice's coat looks like an oversized man's suit jacket to me - not at all flattering. The shoes are also not good.

I'd say Sophie is reading these threads and said "Ffs Edward, the girls are all saying you're always in double breasted suits which are so old fashioned ! You need to go single breasted. It's a reflection on me, you being so fuddy duddy !"

Charles and Camillia are in Ireland for a royal visit today and tomorrow I think of anyone is wondering where they are.

I'm delighted to have been part of the team responsible for getting Edward out of his double-breasted monstrosities. Now we've got to persuade Harry to step away from the 80s grey estate agent suits and William to shave the sides of his bald head.

I met Edward last year and the suit was terrible. Double breasted, too big. He looked like a little old man.
