I was more surprised by Fergie going than BT DoC not going.

UrsulaPandress · 20/05/2019 17:30

Pippa went out with the groom. Probably spent time with her parents and brother and less with Kate because of her position.

itswinetime · 20/05/2019 17:30

Then how come her whole family are close to them? Pippa, her brother, her parents?

My brother is close to people I'm not including some of our family he was recently invited to a cousins wedding and I wasn't because he sees them I don't. It happens. It's also possible the Middletons don't like rocking the boat by turning invites down or would show up to the opening of an envelope. I have no idea but I don't find it odd Kate wasn't there.

I do agree it was surprising Fergie was. Nice to see a bit more of her though.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 20/05/2019 17:32

I didn't know about the groom being Pippa's ex. Makes more sense now.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 20/05/2019 17:54

So I'm presuming the next big family occasion coming up will be Archie's christening. Royal babies are usually around 2/3 months old when christened, are they not?
Speaking of babies has Pippa's Arthur been christened yet?

QueenOfTheAndals · 20/05/2019 17:57

Not sure if Archie will get a big christening like the Cambridge kids. Perhaps just a private ceremony with one photo released. As for Pippa's son, no idea. Are she and James even religious?

Wouldn’t us be brilliant if they don’t have him christened?

itswinetime · 20/05/2019 18:12

Here is Sophie and the queen at RHS Chelsea today (at least I'm 90% sure the queen is today not last year)

AnneEyhtMeyer · 20/05/2019 18:13

Best photo I've seen of Sophie in years.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 20/05/2019 18:15

Why Bertrand? Would be very hypocritical after having a massive church wedding even though the bride was a divorcee.

itswinetime · 20/05/2019 18:16

Twitter also saying the queen is in a rewear form Meghan and Harry's wedding people do have some good memories

Thedarklady · 20/05/2019 18:16

DOC is wearing another Erdem fail :-(

I quite like Kate's dress and she looks glowing and happy but I don't think the shoes go with the dress.

Sophie looks lovely.

itswinetime · 20/05/2019 18:18

Front view of Sophie just let me know if I'm spamming people waiting at the hairdressers with nothing to do but search twitter!

itswinetime · 20/05/2019 18:20

Kate does look happy and it's not a bad shape on her but erdem isn't her friend is I don't think busy patterns suit her at least not like that.

IHeartArya · 20/05/2019 18:20

Lovely photo of Sophie.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 20/05/2019 18:20

Sophie looks great - her hair looks so much better than her usual style and green really suits her.

banivani · 20/05/2019 18:22

I recognise that dress of Sophie’s - high street something? Love Letizias dress too and CPM looks very nice.

Hairydilemma · 20/05/2019 18:23

Sophie’s very game going up that ladder!

I liked Kate’s blouse this morning but not really the culottes (not caught up with the full thread so apologies if convo about this morning’s outfit has already been done to death).

Don’t like this afternoon’s dress - too long, and I’m not sure that you always need to wear a flowery dress just because you’re in a garden.

That said, I think Kate looks in her element in her garden, esp with children (hers and others) - really animated and happy.

beanaseireann · 20/05/2019 18:24

Kates dress looks like something my unfashionable aunt would have worn back in the 70's Smile
Horrendous.
All that money and beautiful clothes available to her.
She was much nicer dressed in the photos with the children at Chelsea

itswinetime · 20/05/2019 18:25

The queen seems impressed with Kate's garden

beanaseireann · 20/05/2019 18:27

And as for the strings hanging out if her espadrilles - ugh !
But I hate tassels and strings hanging out of clothes and bags.
There was a very expensive bag , Celine I think, am IT bag and it had tassely things either side. I thought it was ghastly.

itswinetime · 20/05/2019 18:28

Video of the queen arriving at the garden not sure she's a fan of the double air kiss Wink

frugalkitty · 20/05/2019 18:28

I think Erdem have a deal with stately homes to reuse their ancient 70s curtain fabric......bleugh. It's a no from me.
