I think Princess Alexandra and the Duchess of Kent were both MIA today.

The whole social circle seem to be relatively small and inter-connected - two of Harry's exs at Euginie's wedding, the Middleton's at today's. Everyone in the "set" seem to have the same pool of friends, family and dates!

I always have the impression the Queen is deeply fond of her cousins and their families.

I agree, and I think it may partly do with maintaining a connection to her father.

Of course it is- so is mine, so is everyone’s yes every individual has a circle of a limited size but none of my cousins have dated any of my in-laws. I go to family wedding and I go to friends weddings I don't find my ex's and my husbands sister at my cousins wedding. For most people they will have a family group, their partners family group, a few friendship groups and perhaps a colleague's group. With the young royals all of these groups seem to be merged into one single circle.

I think the social circle of posh people seems to be very intermingled as they all seem to know each other from school; even if they went to different ones. They have a small pool they pick from. It's very Brahmin. Good that William and Harry have chosen wives to add some fresh blood into the Royal gene pool. Princess Michael (who is tall) once said that Diana brought height into the RF.

The Chelsea flower show starts on Tuesday; so the Royals will have their private view tomorrow.

I don't love Gabriella's dress but the tiara, veil and flowers are gorgeous and she looks so pretty.

The Queen is the best dressed at that wedding, by a country mile!

I often wonder what incredibly rich people give each other for presents. I know the RF are supposed to do joky ones for Christmas, but that wouldn’t do for anniversaries and things. I suppose Meghan can get away with “I’ve given you our beautiful baby” this year...

Interesting that there are a few guest photos appearing on Instagram. It’s great for us to have a nose at the more off duty shots.
The one of Gabriella and the Queen is lovely.
HM seems genuinely fond of her. She’s probably lost an inch or 2 at least in height as she has aged. Both she and Prince Phillip are quite incredible for the longevity and good health. It would be great for both of them to make 100. Isn’t Phillip going to be 98 very soon?

I think that’s why she went for a bit more of a revealing dress.
I liked it. I just think it would have looked better with a navy hat.

I saw Beatrice's outfit from Eugenie's wedding when it was on display at Windsor. The waist was tiny. If she's lost more weight she must be very slim now.

I thought Ella looked beautiful and I loved her dress and flowers. A friend of mine knew her at university and said that she was a really nice person with no airs and graces.

I don't see it tbh, I think they've just chosen photos where they're wearing similar expressions. She looks far more like William as a child to me.
