Loved the flowers and trees around the door.

Princess Beatrice. Looks like she’s lost weight. I think that will be the next royal wedding..
Hated Pippa’s dress. Maybe I don’t get fashion.

That is the absolute best tiara I have seen - better than the one I thought I was that the queen has. I don’t want subtle, I want pointy diamonds and lots of them.

I thought Gabriella looked lovely, and I was pleased to see Princess Marina's City of London tiara having an outing.

I was a bit disappointed with Princess Michael's outfit, her hat, coat and dress seemed to be fighting each other and didn't come together as a whole look. I'm not keen on Fergie's pink draped look, to fussy for me, though I liked her hat!

I liked Pippa's Kate Spode dress, (did Pippa go out with Tom Kingston years ago?)

Were the My Fair Lady flower sellers in Austrian national costume?

Pippa looks ok - I don’t think she is very ‘fashion’ at all. I think if I had that much money I could look better than that but then again I think that about most royal outfits, especially at weddings. I can’t see how it’s that hard to dress well when you’re absolutely loaded but I suppose if you’re not interestedly you’re not interested.

Gosh Gabriella looks like Princess Alexandra doesn't she? Beautiful dress, everyone else looks properly hideous apart from Sophie Winkleman and JM's gf and the men.

Actually Beatrice looks pretty good. Finally in a dress that makes her look slim.

I'm not in favour of designers organising the dress. That's a job for bridesmaids. I think the designer needs to hand over the dress and have confidence that it's going to work on the day without too much of a helping hand.

Haha, so many young aristocratic women seem to be “models”. I think it’s shorthand for “rich, doesn’t do much but might pose for the occasional posh friend with a camera”

Sorry, really don't like Beatrice's outfit. The sheer bits and ruffles are horrible!

I’m not keen either. The criss cross boob coverage and (slightly risqué!) exposed sternum is a bit much.

No. Not at all. The dress is ok, but the sleeves detract considerably.

I'm fact, I have to say that no one has wowed me. And some are truly awful. The bride is lovely, though. I think she does look like her aunt Princess Alexandra. She also has a bit of the look of her grandmother Princess Marina.

Here's Lady Helen, looking more like her mother with the passing of each year. No sign of her parents on Getty though. I think the duchess might be quite unwell these days.

Beautiful bride. Some very odd guest outfits but I am living for Pippa's headband though, very Natalie Portman as Anne Boleyn-esque.

Isn't Kate there? I knew William wouldn't be due to FA cup (he couldn't miss 2 years in a row!) but thought with the rest of her family being there and the Queen & Harry, Kate would be too.

I’m finding these outfits very ‘costume like’ aka utterly bizarre. So many of them look downright foolish. Do they think that throwing as much money as they can at clothes mean they look well.

Give me Meghan’s simple toned down style ANY DAY. Where are William and Kate? Are they attending. I’m sure Kate has an Erdem dress or a frock coat to fit right in.

The bride looks great and I always think Jams Middleton looks very aristocratic/haughty.

I love Lady G's dress, and those of the bridesmaids. Doesn't she look like Ivanka Trump?

Lady Ella looks beautiful & yes she does look so like her Aunt Princess Alexandra, but also like her paternal Great Great Grandmother Queen Alexandra too.
Loved the inclusion of the Ella roses in her bouquet.
It's nice to see Fergie included. I wonder if she & Phillip have had a rapprochement of some sort?
Did wonder where Kate & Eugenie were. However not everyone can always accept their invites.

I've finally got round to watching The Crown. Episode 2 of series 1 had me roaring (crying) It was so sad seeing The Queen suddenly as the young married girl she was rather than her job iyswim. Her & Margaret's devastion when their Father died and the realisation on Elizabeth's face that now her life was going to change radically.
The casting of The Crown is excellent. All the actors have nailed their characters essence/being/persona. (As said to me by older family members, who worked for many years for HMQ during the earlier part of her reign.)
Matt Smith as a young Prince Philip makes me think of Harry.
In real life I think Harry is looking more & more like his Grandfather Philip everyday.

I wonder if Fergie attends many royal events but we just don’t see her?
