Would you wear these trainers? Please also say roughly what age you are.

I'm mid thirties and I wear them a lot with jeans but my DH thinks they are for grannies

😂🤣🤣 sorry OP, but even my 82 year old dad wears trendy Skechers.

Fabellini · 12/05/2019 09:36

I’ve got these and think they’re lovely (and comfortable too), but I wouldn’t wear yours op, sorry.
I’m approaching mid 50s.

shitpark · 12/05/2019 10:07

No

Whoops75 · 12/05/2019 10:08

Definitely older lady shoes 65+

viccat · 12/05/2019 10:12

36 and I wear these (hopefully my photo will work).

Frankly I couldn't care less what people think of my shoes (or clothes). My mother and grandmother both wore heels and narrow fitting shoes most of their lives and have suffered decades of foot problems as a result and so, having seen that, health and comfort matter to me much more than vanity.

I think the problem with yours op is the colour and the little holes just equal unstylish. They remind me of croquet for some reason. I'm generally not a fan of any slip on trainer, trainer shoe etc so I wouldn't really like them regardless of colour/brand/being in fashion, but the nude colour are particularly ugly! With saying all of that I'm sure with the right look they could be what some would call stylish!

LadyOfTheCanyon · 12/05/2019 18:35

They remind me of flaccid Cornish pasties, so I'm going to err on the side of 👎🏼

damekindness · 12/05/2019 18:39

Late 50's and I really wouldn't

Xxalisoncxx · 12/05/2019 18:56

Riverviews · 12/05/2019 22:55

49- I would not be seen dead in them.

MirandaWest · 12/05/2019 22:58

I’m 43 and wouldn’t wear them.

Shimy · 12/05/2019 23:04

pazwaz70 · 12/05/2019 23:27

Fuck no! I'm 49.

Cobblersandhogwash · 12/05/2019 23:32

Maybe if they were silver?

Lacazettes · 12/05/2019 23:35

I'm 35 and wouldn't wear them. I'm not sure my mum would and she is 61. I usually wear Converse or my Kurt Geiger Levvy trainers.

AliceRR · 13/05/2019 00:19

OP I’m not sure why the unanimous “no”

I wouldn’t choose them. I’m a bit picky with shoes but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them. I’m sure if you were wearing them with jeans they’d look fine

Bluntness100 · 13/05/2019 10:41

OP I’m not sure why the unanimous “no”

Well because rhe people posting think they aren't nice and are very similar to the kind of shoes elderly people wear when they have foot problems.

Why do you tthink?Confused

megletthesecond · 13/05/2019 10:42

No. I'm 45.

Nike Internationalists here.

Atalune · 13/05/2019 10:45

They look a bit like mental asylum nurse shoes.

It’s the combo- colour, perforation, shape and sole size.

Uber hipsters could wear them in an ironic way. Are you one of those?

happyhillock · 13/05/2019 10:48

No there awful, but having said that i've never worn trainer's i think there all awful

Moondancer73 · 13/05/2019 10:52

46, not if you paid me. Sorry.

Cheesymonster · 13/05/2019 11:14

Maybe they're better in real life...

I have just bought these (not arrived yet, will take them back if they look orthopaedic!)

I'm 43 and live in skinny jeans.
