Previous thread

Any guesses on what Meghan will wear to introduce baby Sussex? I'm guessing Givenchy as it's her go-to designer for big events.

Then again she could surprise us all and come out in a JoJo Maman Bébé breastfeeding tunic!

Just read article in DM about hospital birth

My money is on the Chelsea and Westminster Kensington wing. Private section of an nhs hospital. Amal Clooney had her twins there.
That part of London would be dead in the middle of a bank holiday weekend. It’s not touristy, had an underground car park.
But we’ll probably never know if the baby’s birth certificate is kept private. No one ever found out where H&M went on honeymoon.

Guessing that must be Gucci as she has (or had) a contract with them.
It's hideous though, but I like the shoes

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/05/2019 06:19

The Met Gala is not about tasteful or classic dressing!

Isn't a birth certificate a public record?

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/05/2019 06:22

For everyone except a member of the royal family, apparently 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh dear, the tone of this thread has changed over the past few weeks Sad

The Nicholas Witchell clip is indeed strange. It seems that he was not asked the question to which he had prepared the answer and realised mid-flow that he was supposed to talk about a baby and not the career paths is the Susseses.

Amy Schumer is going to wait until the birth announcement and call her son the same name SadGrin

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/05/2019 06:54

Don't worry @RhubarbIsEvil I'm sure it'll go back to what it was once baby Sussex is old news!

Here are Mary and Marie at different events. Who can tell who's who??

How do the Mail know for sure that Meghan went to the Portland? If I gave birth there then I'd want to stay a few days to recuperate rather than go home immediately!

OP posts:
AFifthOfKoolAid · 07/05/2019 07:00

Probably in the same way they knew she wanted a home birth. I.e. made up.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/05/2019 07:03

I don’t think they said it was explicitly the Portland. Just a london Hospital. Rebecca English is usually fairly well informed. They can probably afford to have a few paps stationed outside each possibility.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/05/2019 07:05

"Thought to be the Portland" says the article.

Mary’s hair is looking particularly nice. I think she may have had a few lighter streaks put in.
I think there is a bit of a consistent look for modern day Queens / princesses. There are a lot of glossy brunettes around.
Letizia is the sexy one; Kate is the slightly matronly one, (Rania is the frozen one).

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/05/2019 07:10

Emily Andrews in the Sun has also said the Portland.
Someone would have seen them. I would imagine as soon as they got the all clear Meghan and the baby would be whisked home.

BigGreenOlives · 07/05/2019 07:26

Thank you for the new thread, I’m late again.

Wasn’t thrilled by Harry’s outfit yesterday but he did seem incredibly happy.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/05/2019 07:29

Haha well I guess he had other things on his mind!

AFifthOfKoolAid · 07/05/2019 07:31

Harry was in dad chic

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/05/2019 07:35

I shan't mention the f-word...

just caught up with NIcholas Wichell Grin
off track there

shedid · 07/05/2019 07:51

Aww Harry totally has the brand new patent shock, awe and exhaustion going on. I'm really happy for them.
Glad DoS and baby are well.
Doesn't matter where they had it/what kind of birth; they both came out of it healthy and happy.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures in a few days time.

shedid · 07/05/2019 07:52

*parent, not patent 🙄

Wetdogloveshubert · 07/05/2019 07:53

Checking in, thanks Queen. Mary and Marie are so similar!

AudacityOfHope · 07/05/2019 08:11

Yeah I'm sure Amy Schumer was in no way kidding about that, being a comedian and all.

This thread is getting depressingly grim.

Maybe all the weird conspiracy theorists will head back to AIBU now that the baby has been handed over by the surrogate/hatched by an alien/disparaged on Insta by a late congratulatory post from W&K Confused

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/05/2019 08:15

Diana Remembered, a non-creepy Instagram account about her, featured this illustration today. Some might find it a bit twee but I think it's cute.
