Previous thread

Any guesses on what Meghan will wear to introduce baby Sussex? I'm guessing Givenchy as it's her go-to designer for big events.

Then again she could surprise us all and come out in a JoJo Maman Bébé breastfeeding tunic!

That's quite strange. He's struggling to stick with the point all the way through. I wonder if he's had a slight stroke?

Don't like the guy but i feel for him there.

SevenSeasofRye · 06/05/2019 22:35

I wonder if she was induced? It was an incredible feat to drive her out of Frogmore and back without being detected. How on earth did they do it? (If true). A Sunday afternoon on a Bank holiday weekend?

SevenSeasofRye · 06/05/2019 22:37

Just watched that clip, how very strange! I wonder what was going on?

queenofarles · 06/05/2019 22:38

Not the Portland surely ? Must be something like Charlotte and Chelsea , or Lindo ? Is there some underground entrance to reach the Lindo? Or maybe they went there through the emergency room and from there the Lindo?

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 22:39

How do we "know" she wanted a home birth?

Back in February this thread had people tutting that she had chosen to do the whole Lindo Wing thing and stealing Kate's limelight.

Who actually cares enough to make these things up I don't know.

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 22:40

Weren't the York girls born at the Portland? Royal tradition!

queenofarles · 06/05/2019 22:47

Afifth I thought about having my ds there 12 years ago, It was just very blingy, it’s really is like a hotel for VIP foreigners , and in case of an emergency I was told I’d be whisked to an other place, I didn’t want that.

iknowimcoming · 06/05/2019 22:48

Is it just me or is the insta congrats message from the Cambridge's a bit errrrr late? Maybe they've been struggling getting the kids to bed and only just sat down with a bottle of wine and their iPads? Wink

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 22:50

Maybe they didn't want to steal their thunder. Or they were down Brighton for the bank holiday.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/05/2019 22:51

That looks like Nick Witchell had an episode. Maybe a TIA? Hope he's ok.

Definitely sounds like an induction and a quick one at that. They probably smuggled them out and back in using a commercial vehicle like a staff bus to avoid detection.

MotherofPearl · 06/05/2019 23:00

Delighted the baby is finally born and looking forward to seeing pictures later this week.

I see CP Victoria is in Vietnam. I think this yellow dress suits her. And the sandals are far nicer than those awful white trainers from the other week.

That video of Prince Harry is just lovely isn't it. Only new parents are that excited and gushing. You forget how totally overwhelming it is! My DH was just awestruck by our newborns.

Hopefully we'll get a lovely photo to have a nose at then they'll disappear from view for a good few weeks at least and be left well alone!

C'mon other royals, step up now, we need some posh frocks to discuss please!

escapade1234 · 06/05/2019 23:10

So much secrecy and subterfuge. They announce she’s in labour when she’s already had the baby and is probably back home. Why? She gave birth at 5:30am and 8 hours later they say she’s in labour. Just no need. Always game playing these two.

escapade1234 · 06/05/2019 23:11

Did they think we’d all rock up on the doorstep looking for a cuddle with the new arrival?

Stravapalava · 06/05/2019 23:14

I love CPV & Daniel's coordinating yellow outfits! They always look so happy together.

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 23:14

They didn't announce she was in labour, they announced that she went into labour in the early hours. No lies, not their fault if people's comprehension skills are shit.

And yes there is huge media interest in their lives, hence their attempts for privacy at a hugely personal time.

Oh come the fuck on.

Mintandthyme · 06/05/2019 23:38

Calm down dear

allworthwhile · 06/05/2019 23:43

So it wasn’t a home birth...

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 23:45

I've been the fuck on

Who literally cares? What difference does it make to any of us whether it was born at 5am or 2pm, in Windsor or in London in a hospital? Who gives a shit?

I'd rather we did away with the royal family but this is a lad whose mum died at roughly the age he is now because she was in a car speeding because it was being pursued by the paparazzi. And the media have little respect for the privacy of the royal family's medical matters and any collateral damage in their pursuit of gossip (ref: that nurse who killed herself after being duped into giving info about Kate when she was first pregnant). They probably think it's no one's business right now, and I'd agree.

BoglingToAswad · 06/05/2019 23:50

escapade calm the fuck down.

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 23:55

Again, was there ever any confirmation that she even wanted a home birth or was it just "apparently"? Apparently she wanted the Lindo Wing because she thinks she is special, apparently she refused the Lindo Wing because she wanted to be special, apparently it was definitely twins, apparently it was definitely a girl, apparently it was definitely born in secret in April, apparently she had a doula...

We know none of these things, apart from the ones which have been demonstrably bollocks.

I wouldn't be a royal for all the money in the world, no wonder William and Harry have lost all their hair before 40!

floraloctopus · 07/05/2019 00:17

Has that balloon woman been at the helium or is her voice always like that?!

Somebody was saying that Trump hasn't posted good wishes on Twitter, that's not his style is it?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 07/05/2019 01:00

You're right floraloctopus why would The Donald post a message on Twitter? Plus he knows Meghan doesn't like him. (Sensible woman)
Anyway I'm hoping that they'll have either or both Michelle & Barack Obama as Godparents or Serena Williams at a push. I think as Baby Sussex is mixed race it is important to have at least one or more black or mixed race/dual or more heritage Goparent/s as well as white Godparents.
All facets of Baby Sussex's heritage/culture should be celebrated.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/05/2019 01:49

@tracybeaker
That would be awesome to have an Obama as a godparent.
As it's a boy, perhaps Barack as opposed to Michelle.
Perhaps they will have someone from Diana's side, perhaps Lady Jane Fellowes as a godmother too.

Also loved that photo of cpv and Daniel in vietnam. Her yellow dress is awesome.
