Previous thread

Any guesses on what Meghan will wear to introduce baby Sussex? I'm guessing Givenchy as it's her go-to designer for big events.

Then again she could surprise us all and come out in a JoJo Maman Bébé breastfeeding tunic!

Today is Mother's Day in the US. I hope there's a little celebration for Meghan and Doria at Frogmore Cottage.

AFifthOfKoolAid · 12/05/2019 14:27

I don't think "he will be raised a private citizen and he won't be seen much" translates as they'll whack a towel on his head in public. More he won't have a title, no photocall for the first day at nursery/primary/secondary...

UrsulaPandress · 12/05/2019 14:30

I was joking about the towel

Hmm
AFifthOfKoolAid · 12/05/2019 14:33

Yea but you know how these jokes/rumours run away with themselves Grin

AFifthOfKoolAid · 12/05/2019 14:34

Anyway that was more in response to him being "hidden from view". He will just have a private life. I don't think they're the same thing.

SenecaFalls · 12/05/2019 14:40

Anne's grandchildren are private citizens and not hidden from view, but of course they are not in line to be HRHs.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Charles is king. I predict new Letters Patent limiting the titles of Prince and Princess even further.

TuppenceTwo · 12/05/2019 14:41

AhoyDelBoy There was an article in the Telegraph Magazine about Mrs Alice and her husband yesterday! Hopefully the text isn’t too small to read, it’s behind a paywall online.

Precisely @AFifthOfKoolAid. He will probably appear at family events and the Trooping etc. If the story is actually true that is!

Meghan is 5 foot 6 to Harry's 6 foot 1 and Kate is 5 foot 9 to William's 6 foot 3.

My DH used to get asked if he wanted to stand on a box when we had formal photos taken Grin

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/05/2019 15:34

The Dutch royals are still in Seville. Amalia has inherited her mother's love of bright colours, though looks-wise she's more Wax than Max. Imagine being able to raid Max's wardrobe!

Cute pic on Sussex insta of Archie's feet!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 12/05/2019 15:45

They look like quite big feet don't they? I think Meghan has bigger feet than you'd think, judging from the very rare times I've seen her in flats.

Kate's wedding shoes were a 5.5 I think, which is quite small for a lass of her height.

RhubarbIsEvil · 12/05/2019 15:46

Aw, the text is too small to read Sad.

In the absence of real clothes to discuss, let’s play “What will Meghan wear to Parents Evening in 5 year’s time?”

Kate will wear a smart Don’t pull the organic cashmere wool over my eyes, Charlotte is a geniis dress and coat. Meghan will roll up in a leather jacket and biker boots.

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/05/2019 15:52

Kate's a 5.5? How does she not tip over?? I thought she'd be at least a 7 at her height!

hopeishere That baby feet picture is pretty much what a lot of posters on here predicted they would post at some point Grin

FFSeverynameisused · 12/05/2019 16:35

ha ha, I should have placed a bet on a baby feet photo. I knew it. So cheesy

Lady Louise looking very like Sophie today

escapade1234 · 12/05/2019 16:35

I hate it when people do the baby’s feet thing. Either they want privacy or not. Can you imagine Kate and William playing these social media games? A sneak peak of the baby’s feet? Pathetic.

BertrandRussell · 12/05/2019 16:37

I love a foot picture? Why do people object so much?

SlipperOrchid · 12/05/2019 16:39

I took quite a few photos of my baby’s feet when she was very tiny. When I look at the photos now, I marvel at how small she was Grin

PinkieTuscadero · 12/05/2019 16:40

They love a cheesy photo. Didn't they release one of the pair of them watching a fireworks display with their backs to the camera? That's a wedding staple these days.

SlipperOrchid · 12/05/2019 16:40

ETA I think I only took one photo of my second child’s feet. The novelty of creating another human must have waned off due to having a toddler as well 😀

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/05/2019 16:51

They aren't doing anything a lot of new parents haven't done and the sentiment is a nice one. Hardly "pathetic". And why should they be exactly like William and Kate?

Anyway, onto the next thread!
