Any guesses on what Meghan will wear to introduce baby Sussex? I'm guessing Givenchy as it's her go-to designer for big events.

Then again she could surprise us all and come out in a JoJo Maman Bébé breastfeeding tunic!

I think Kate was influenced by her temporary stylist to go a bit « fashion forward»
Presume Natasha archer will come back from maternity leave...?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 09/05/2019 11:40

smooshable little potatoes

Love it!

Like queen said the two week thing was a response to the question of who they thought he looked like - h&m weren't sure and h said something about we've heard they change a lot in the first two weeks so will be keep a watch on who he looked likes in the coming month.

He did get slightly confused on age whether it was 2.5 or 3 days but he's a new father in that total whirlwind that is new parenthood, so perfectly understandable.

SwimmingintheDeepBLUESea · 09/05/2019 11:44

Also lots of babies are kind of plump in the face (and not wrinkly) in the first few days - especially when only looking at chin to eyebrows proportion.

People are bonkers is all I can say to the internet critics.

AhoyDelBoy · 09/05/2019 11:45

Oh god, the two weeks thing. There was a whole thread on AIBU about it.. people must really be hard of comprehension to think he meant Archie was two weeks old.

AhoyDelBoy · 09/05/2019 11:46

I’m glad everyone here understood what he meant!

Ninkaninus · 09/05/2019 11:51

Oh god yes the frothing, and the lack of basic comprehension skills...I’m regularly staggered by just how many hard of thinking people there are in the world...

Baby Archie is a cutie.

DotOnTheHorizon · 09/05/2019 12:02

I've been lurking for ages, but just decided to take the plunge with these pictures of Princess Alexandra (looking good for 82). She is the Queen's first cousin. I think the outfit would have looked better without the dress being considerably longer than the coat and with neutral colour tights. She looks lovely in the seated photo.

Show's how things change, she was 6th in line when she was born but has now been bumped down to 53rd. Guess a similar fate will happen to the (rather adorable) Archie.

You can see why people in the public eye have speech writers! Sorry I didn't mean my post to come across as my believing that, I just thought it funny how much people read into these things. Over here in Oz, his name was the subject of office chatter all day. They called him what?! Was the theme. Once again = glad I'm not in the pubic eye!

Elllllle · 09/05/2019 12:49

Or the public eye. Doubt I'd like to be in the pubic eye either

StCharlotte · 09/05/2019 12:52

Elllllle Don't worry - I once sent out a Very. Important. Letter saying that something was open for "pubic inspection" Blush

Ninkaninus · 09/05/2019 12:55

I wasn’t referring to you, just to be clear! I reserve my disdain for the truly batshit crazy or extremely dimwitted (and even then it’s mostly pity!)

Spudlet · 09/05/2019 13:03

I used to do some speechwriting as part of my job. Wasn't unheard of for the speech giver to be rewriting it (having previously signed off on it) in the back of the car on the way to the venue which was terrifying when it dealt with sensitive policy issues! I can kind of understand why the MiGSs were a bit panicky about Meghan writing her own stuff (although she seems to have done alright). Not saying they were right, but I can empathise with their fear Grin

AudacityOfHope · 09/05/2019 13:08

pubic inspection!

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/05/2019 13:15

@DotOnTheHorizon Princess Alexandra was very attractive as a young woman and still dresses impeccably. She actually looks more regal than HM but I guess that's no surprise given who her mother was!

Pubic inspection! Brilliant @StCharlotte (and yes, very regal etc Queen, we are paying attention to the royal stuff too honest)

Spudlet · 09/05/2019 13:50
