Surely this is the thread where Meghan has her baby??

I completely agree with this and said so also on an earlier thread - I'm thinking soft colours, cashmere/ cotton shirts etc. Haha. Am looking forward to it.

Completely disagree re the Princess title. I think they'll want to ditch that and go for something else. If not a straight lord or lady, some other kind of title. They're not stupid. In 20 years this baby will have a role similar to Beatrice and frankly, the princess thing just makes her look a bit pointless. if she was Lady Beatrice, no one would give a flying F* about how many holidays she takes.

The eye colour thing is fascinating. I have blue, DH has brown. Both kids have brown eyes but they're so much lighter than anything DH or his family have. It's odd how that works out. DS's eyes in particular are a completely indescribable colour. Brown, but so light brown that it feels weird to call them that. I have no idea how this all works but I thought that if they had brown eyes, they'd be brown in line with DH's. Apparently not.

To be fair I do often wonder if she's mine as we're so different My husband's dad and sister have hazel eyes, and his brother and mum have blue eyes. Mine are blue, and I'm adopted so not sure what else would be on my side but given my colouring I doubt there's any brown eyes in my immediate genetic makeup.

Bling is it definitely brown and not hazel?

I think the stuff in the media about a rift between William and Henry is all aimed at stoking the racism towards Meghan for daring to marry into the RF. She's hated by the media because she's done this and so they are presenting the 'rift' between W&H to imply that even the brothers have fallen out because H has married a divorced foreigner and one who isn't white [shock horror]

It didn't go well for the RF last time they had anything to do with an American divorcee...I don't think times have changed enough, hence all this nonsense in the media.

Are Kate's true green or a particularly greeny hazel though? Also are George's definitely true brown not just a dark hazel?

I have very dark hazel eyes that can be mistaken for a dark brown, particularly in photos. I have one DC with a light hazel colour eyes and one with bright blue. Their dad had grey blue eyes.

I think a baby girl with a slightly less traditional name - as someone else said earlier more like a Zara or Savannah type. Think Elizabeth & Diana will be middle names.

If its a boy I think Charles William Arthur perhaps ?

I dont think for a moment Meghan will want any Royal family names. My bet is they will choose unusual or American names.

I think Harry will try to ensure his children are lord/lady title not princess/prince. It's no secret that Harry didn't want to be a royal and found it very unfair that just because of the family he was born into he was expected to be royal. It took him a long time to deal with it and choose to use it for good (invictus games being the main turnaround point).

I started a where's this baby thread about six weeks ago, she must have been pregnant for over a year!
DH and I have green eyes, the dcs both have brown eyes.

Maybe they will use Frances somewhere because that was Diana's middle name? They could still use Diana because K&W have used the same name twice with their three children so cousins sharing a name isn't likely to raise eyebrows.

I do think Meghan is beautiful, albeit in an enhanced Hollywood way, and I'm not surprised Harry is captivated by her. I wonder if she's the only Royal with a boob job?

Name wise I think we'll see a mixture of traditional royal and more unusual and/or Americanised names. After all royals usually have a few middle names.

Thinking about it, that's not usually been an area the Royal ladies have needed a boost!

The media is claiming Meghan is planning a Vogue front cover shoot of the baby , much to the disapproval of the Queen. Wonder if that’s true.

Maybe the RF would be happier if it was Tatler? At least she's not thinking about Hello!

Funnily enough they announced the pregnancy a day before a couple we know who are also having a baby. I reckon on them being very similar due dates and hers is May the 8th. This friends pregnancy seems to be going on for ever too!

My bets are May the 8th then for megz

Having looked at lots of pics of George I don't think his eyes are true brown. I think they are like mine a very dark browny hazel that can easily photograph as dark brown but aren't really.
