I’m sure both W&H suffer from mental health issues. Anxiety is hideous and must be so much worse when you are battling it in the public eye. Sometimes DH struggles to go to a crowded place like a supermarket. Panic attacks are awful, I can’t imagine how it must be to have to smile and look confident if you are in the midst of anxiety.

pinkladyapples · 23/04/2019 11:14

Thanks for the new thread Queen.

I also think girl for Baby Sussex.

Louis is too cute, lovely photos.

brizzlemint · 23/04/2019 11:16

www.tatler.com/gallery/royals-as-teenagers

links to various Royals as teenagers.

I wouldn't be surprised if W&H had some issues with their mental health as they have been through a lot with Diana dying and the stiff upper lip mentality that I expect was prevalent in the RF at the time.

QueenOfTheAndals · 23/04/2019 11:18

Andrew and Edward were quite good-looking in their youth (by royal standards) - Andrew looks about 30 in that photo of him and Charles!

And you could've told me that photo of Beatrice was taken last week rather than 15 years ago and I'd have believed you. She's hardly aged at all!

Checking in, ready for the new arrival.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 23/04/2019 11:23

Harry has been very open about his therapy etc and said it was William who suggested it.
I would be amazed if W hasn’t had some too. However, as we have seen from old footage, William bore the brunt of his parents naïveté, emotional damage ( especially Diana treating him as a confidante as a child), the hugely acrimonious divorce and then Diana’s premature death meant that William has not had any opportunity for closure with her.
I have no idea if the Rose Hanbury rumours are true. I am erring on the side of not, as William has involved solicitors. Anyway, it is none of our business, just as it wouldn’t be with any other couple.
I think it’s pretty obvious to most that the issue is between William and Harry. I just hope they manage to sort out whatever it is.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 23/04/2019 11:29

Eugenie looks the same as she did at 19.
Zara is the spit of Anne

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 23/04/2019 11:34

The Cambridge children aged one
i completely forgot that George has brown eyes.

SwimmingintheDeepBLUESea · 23/04/2019 11:35

I really don't think that there is a rift between Harry and William. The footage one of the papers used online to show the "rift" had Harry talking to Zara, Kate and William. Kate laughed and William looked like he hadn't quite caught what Harry said. Kate looks to repeat it to William and William laughed. The papers are being very selective in their reporting of Harry and William's interactions.

I do think the trio dynamic has changed since Megan came on the scene but not because of Megan herself but because Harry now has his own family. I think it's the natural change that happens when you get your own wife and DC on the way. Plus add that royal duty wise it means his duties have branched away more, it was always going to happen when he married.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 23/04/2019 11:37

Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg has died aged 98.
European Royals have incredible longevity

frugalkitty · 23/04/2019 12:12

I suggested Eleanor for baby Sussex a few threads ago (it's DDs name). While I think they'll have a girl, anyone have any suggestions for a more unusual boy's name?

Also agree that the DoC was more animated than usual at the Easter thing. I bet William is hard to live with at times. I liked the blue bunny jumper Louis had on in one of his photos. He's definitely got an old face on him, and I think he's more like Charlotte than George.

frugalkitty · 23/04/2019 12:42

Puppy jumper, not bunny jumper. MN really needs an edit button!

SlipperOrchid · 23/04/2019 12:54

In fairness William could do more to dispel the rumours. That he doesn’t leads me to believe they are true.

I have no idea about the affair rumours. What did William’s solicitors supposedly say/do? Kate looked over animated. And she appears to have lost all baby weight and some more.!

StCharlotte · 23/04/2019 12:56

Yoo hoo! Back from hols and checking in, in the hope of baby Sussex arriving soooooon! I really hope they don't call her Diana (sorry to any Dianas on here), it's just so dated (in an ancient Greek kind of way). I think Rosa, for the reasons mentioned above, would be lovely.

Speaking of names, in the unlikely event that anyone cares or has noticed, I've namechanged and, in case it isn't blindingly obviously who I used to be, I'm a huge fan of the hairbands, Queen Max and I think Leti should become a royal stylist for Meghan.

Goes back to kicking heels waiting for an "announcement"...

queenofarles · 23/04/2019 13:13

Let’s face it, MM’s baby will be beautiful. To put it mildly, the RF less obviously so .......

Prince William was just so beautiful in his teens and twenties. Then it all went wrong by the time he was 30.

Prince Andrew was good looking.

All the Cambridge children are good looking

Lady Louise is very pretty and has a certain royal look about her.

Meghan is pretty , but I wouldn’t call her beautiful , don’t forget she looks different now from early photos . she had some work done .

Humpy84 · 23/04/2019 13:13

I think Elizabeth Diana is my bet.

If a boy I think Charles

Think the due date will be 25th April

Baby photo will be Meghan in bed with tousled bed hair in a bun that and natural barely there makeup that took 8 hours to do, holding baby with Harry gazing over them both.

They will go for something that makes them look completely smitten, captures how cute the baby is, shows how adoring Harry is and how joyful they are. Something to make people swoon and melt even the darkest of critic’s hearts. There will be a few photos including closeup up of baby.

I think they will be fighting tooth and nail for that baby to be a princess and it wouldn’t surprise me if story surfaces in a few months about a palace showdown about the title they want.

Humpy84 · 23/04/2019 13:14

Oh and to also avoid further annoying the media who are already annoyed about the no photo call decision. I think to compensate there will be a few pics.

Humpy84 · 23/04/2019 13:18

It’s so unusual that Kate has green eyes and William has blue and George brown. I’m not suggesting anything at all, that would be ridiculous. It’s entirely genetically possible for this to happen but so unusual. George is the only person in the entire royal family to have brown eyes besides Meghan and the only blood royal to have brown eyes. Just a bit of trivia.

Humpy84 · 23/04/2019 13:20

Sorry and Sophie WInkleman. George is definitely the only blood relative to queen to have brown eyes.

evilharpy · 23/04/2019 13:21

Eye colour genetics are quite complicated, I believe. I have blue eyes and my husband's are hazel but my daughter has very dark brown eyes. I don't think anyone else in the family has dark brown eyes.

SleepingStandingUp · 23/04/2019 13:22

Won't baby get upgraded once Queen dies anyway?

StrayHairsEverywhere · 23/04/2019 13:23

That doula actually repeatedly stoked the fires herself on the doula forum though @AFifthOfKoolAid - a fact conveniently omitted from the ITV programme!

Humpy84 · 23/04/2019 13:27

They are complex, like mixing a paint palette, so many possible combinations, but still unusual for brown eyes if neither parent has @evilharpy

AFifthOfKoolAid · 23/04/2019 13:30

Haha did she, StrayHairs? Cheeky!
