I say girl. Elizabeth will definitely be one of the names. I don't think she's had the baby yet. I thought it was announced that the media would be told when she was in labour?

I can't remember if anyone posted the photos of the Spanish royals at Easter but no shenanigans this year! I love Letizia's dress and the two princesses still look like twins! Leonor looks very much like her mother and Sofia seems to have inherited her dads height. Her outfit is very Letizia though - there's nothing Leti loves more than a good trouser!

Yes there were posted Queen. All looking great. I said bet that was very well managed photo op to save any repeats.

The baby has to come this week. She does seem to have been pg forever.....I remember that feeling.

Maybe because she was showing so soon it feels so long? I can’t work out dates, but I think they had to announce the pregnancy at Eugenie’s wedding because they were due to fly to Australia and she was showing, so naturally the paps would have been onto it. Also with summer clothes harder to hide a bump?

She had a defined little bump at the state dinner in Fiji where she wore that blue caped dress. But bump size isn't necessarily indicative of how far along you are. I didn't properly show til about 20 weeks and even at full-term was smaller than some women in my yoga class who were just going into their thurs trimester.

Ooh, the baby thread. Hopefully. I think a girl, and surely it's got to be this week?! Agree that it will be an usual name, maybe not way out unusual, just not the usual boring, predictable royal names.

I think girl - I don't think bump shape is an indicator (I've know friends been different shapes in two different pregnancies and have the same sex or be the same shape and have different sexes) I can't think of a scientific reason why bump shape would be affected by the sex. I just have a hunch it will be a girl. I don't think Diana will be the first name but it will probably be in there somewhere. I think they will either go "royal" but unusual (think Eugenie) or something not traditionally royal as they aren't in the direct line.

I thought Meghan looked more like 16 weeks at the announcement stage and expected baby to be born when brexit was originally due... but split the difference maybe she was 14 weeks and due now. She did reportedly say at some point she was due end of April

Maybe they didn't publish a group shot as it's Charlotte's birthday so soon after, and they may do one then? But with the recent press vitriol I wouldn't blame them for keeping pictures to bare minimum.

There was only a family shot for Prince George’s first birthday.
As the Cambridge family has grown, there have only been photos of the children individually. Last year it was Charlotte and Louis together a few days after her third birthday.

I’m sure we’ll get another outdoors shot of Charlotte, probably taken the same day as the Louis photos.

Agree with pp on other threads that Kate and Harry are great photographers. Perhaps Harry might surprise us and take the first official photos of Baby Sussex.

I think the Cambridge’s are very parsimonious with the photos of the 3 children. I get they want privacy but an awful lot of staunch royal supporters would love to see a few photos of the younger generation.

The Spanish Princesses look lovely. I think the younger one is now taller. Glad to see they are not matchy matchy any more.

I don’t think Kate is a very good photographer but Harry is very talented. He should take over the Patrick Litchfield role and become the official Royal Photographer.

My vote is for Philip if it's a boy. Though admittedly it's not a very Meghan name. But she may bow to the nice gesture of it.

I think for a girl it'll be something floral, like Rose or a version of Rose.

It could be an unusual name. Something either humanitarian or feminist. However they could go old school with something like Alice, who was Prince Phillip’s mother.
Perhaps use Diana’s middle name Frances and turn it into Francesca.
I think all royal granddaughters and great granddaughter have Elizabeth somewhere.

I think baby will be a girl too. No ideas on names though. It has felt like a really long pregnancy, with Kate we knew early but it didn’t feel so long!

She could well be going overdue. Pretty sure Kate was about 4 days overdue or thereabouts.

I was 10 days over. Grim as fuck, tbh. All that waiting around stuck indoors.

If she's overdue the media will know because they will be sending out for spicy curries from local takeaways.
