paradyning I’m not sure,l. I’ve seen it when it was first released, and have purchased it on Prime. It’s visually scrumptious! His houses, the yacht, his Atelier , and his life with Gambetti. After Karl’s death he is the last of great Designers. Sad

Myimagianry is it on chat? I can’t find it

Paradyning · 28/04/2019 15:01

Hanks queen will have a nosey

Paradyning · 28/04/2019 15:02

*thanks

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 28/04/2019 15:04

Harry must be majorly bored waiting for the baby if he's showing up at various events.
I presume Meghan is at home doing birth inducing yoga with her mum.

beanaseireann · 28/04/2019 15:09

Myimaginarycathasfleas
I'm amazed that other thread was allowed lasted for almost 2000 posts. 2 by 1000.

Paradyning · 28/04/2019 15:30

There's a third thread going now
To find the royal family fascinating? http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/3571762-To-find-the-royal-family-fascinating

brizzlemint · 28/04/2019 16:05

It won't last....but then neither will this thread at the rate we are all talking!

royalcentral.co.uk/europe/norway/queen-sonjas-sami-art-exhibition-receives-new-works-of-art-120455

What do you think of Queen Sonja's outfit here? I can't get past how much like Margaret Thatcher she looks.

Paradyning · 28/04/2019 16:23

Shock she really does!!

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/04/2019 16:48

That other thread got grim very fast and the disingenuousness of people who think it was deleted due to "not saying nice things" about Meghan is really quite staggering. Let's not go down that road here. If William's been stepping out then the blame lies at his door, not Kate's or Meghan's!

OP posts:
Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/04/2019 16:55

To be fair, Queen, MNHQ said they deleted it because it was vilifying a pregnant woman and therefore not in the spirit. Not a word was said about the Cambridge talk, though there was plenty of it.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/04/2019 16:57

@brizzlemint Margaret Thatcher with a soupçon of Meryl Streep?

brizzlemint · 28/04/2019 17:01

@brizzlemint Margaret Thatcher with a soupçon of Meryl Streep?

Yes!

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/04/2019 17:11

No I know that @Myimaginarycathasfleas but the things that were being said about her went beyond the usual "she's annoying because of the bump clutching" comments!

OP posts:
QueenOfTheAndals · 28/04/2019 17:12

ie well beyond just "not being nice".

OP posts:
itswinetime · 28/04/2019 17:16

Not a word was said about the Cambridge talk, though there was plenty of it.

Thats because it's fine to discuss the potential affair it has been discussed on these threads on and off for a month or so at a guess? But queen is right if the rumours are true I don't see why people are directing the blame and either Kate or Meghan! People can have opinions and discuss it without the level of nastiness that was in some of the posts. I didn't read many comments but MNHQ in my opinion were wrong to say it was deleted because It's wrong to vilify a pregnant women! There were comments about both duchess that were not in the spirit of the site it should have been deleted regardless or being Meghan being pregnant!

megletthesecond · 28/04/2019 17:32

What dressy occasions are coming up? Gabriella Windsor wedding and the Baby Sussex christening are all I can think of.

SwimmingintheDeepBLUESea · 28/04/2019 17:36

I hadn't read that second thread yet (had begun earlier but got distracted). I can't believe a thread about whether or not will's has cheated and the British media keeping quiet descended into a slagging off DoS so badly the whole thread got pulled - wtf. As queen says if he has cheated then there is only him to blame not either duchess.

SwimmingintheDeepBLUESea · 28/04/2019 17:40

curly I don't think Harry is bored waiting for baby - I think he's going to these things to make a point there is no baby yet.

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/04/2019 17:43

Well quite. The first thread had a legitimate point about the royals pulling rank to silence the media but the second was just slagging off Kate, Meghan and Rose H. Really don't understand the mindset of people who for no reason🤷🏻‍♀️

OP posts:
Spudlet · 28/04/2019 17:43

swimming It absolutely had, unfortunately. A couple of posters with axes to grind turned up and that was that.

I'm so glad I'm not a Duchess, that's all I can say!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 28/04/2019 17:46

SwimmingintheDeepBLUESea

Good point!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 28/04/2019 17:49

About Harry being visible to confirm the baby’s not here yet.
It’s the season starting soon, so there will be lots of dress up occasions. Kate has a garden in the Chelsea flower show. Loads of the Royals visit that.
I have no clue about the month, probably June but there is Ascot, Trooping of the colour (entire RF on balcony), Wimbledon ( mainly Kate).

SevenSeasofRye · 28/04/2019 17:49

I thought a lot of the comments on that thread were appalling - i missed the DOS talk at the end. Absolutely ridiculous to pull it because one woman was pregnant , not because it was vicious and spiteful generally.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 28/04/2019 17:56

Apparently Baby Sussex is visiting Africa when s/he is a few months old
Seems like an odd choice given that a trip to the US has been postponed for the 2nd time because the baby will be too young.

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/04/2019 18:01

Kate wore a gorgeous floral dress to the flower show a couple years ago, think it was just before she announced her third pregnancy.
