Love the hat pics @Notmyrealname855

Max really does have a megawatt smile doesn't she?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/04/2019 23:21

Is anyone else old enough to remember the pasting Fergie got for leaving her firstborn, who was only a matter of weeks old, to go on holiday with Andy

Yes, Beatrice was 6 weeks old.
Andrew was on some naval ship in Oz and Fergie followed him from port to port.
There was an uproar and I think Sarah’s card was marked from then on.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 24/04/2019 23:29

I've always had a soft spot for SF. She's more than a bit bonkers but crikey has she paid for her transgressions. I've never heard her say a word against any member of the Royal family regardless of how she has been treated.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/04/2019 23:35

I think we can safely say the absence from her mum did Beatrice no harm.
Despite her other “faults” Sarah is an excellent mother.

GrumbleBumble · 24/04/2019 23:40

My parents were at an evening event at which Sarah was doing the prize giving when Bea was very young. She had an ear infection and rather than cancel or leave her with the nanny she brought her to the "do" and was cuddling/comforting her before /after the actual handing over of the prizes which only took her a few minutes. They may have staff but sometimes little ones just want their Mum. The trip to Oz obviously didn't damage their mother daughter bond.

SevenSeasofRye · 24/04/2019 23:51

The thing is, M could have her baby and not announce it till a week later. Then the name will follow a month after that!!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/04/2019 00:19

I don’t think we’ll hear till the day after.
Even George’s birth wasn’t announced for 4 hours.
I really hope they don’t announce Meghan is in labour.
As soon as the birth is announced, the press will descend on Windsor Great Park. I think secrecy is Meghan’s best weapon for privacy.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/04/2019 00:21

Sophie today
Outfit is fine / meh. But I don’t like those wierd grey Mary Jane shoes

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/04/2019 00:24

Awful print on Letizia’s dress

I can see Harry with a baby carrier* golly that would give the poisonous viper Piers Morgan something to rant about Re. How Megan has ruined good old Harry the Lad

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/04/2019 00:33

We didn’t used to post about Max so much when these threads started, so here is a throwback to May last year, when she visited India
Love the local yellow skirt and the matching earrings

myimaginarycat SF never said a bad word, etc.

I guess that would be excluding selling access to the royal family and her beloved dh now ex Andys story, inside track to the fake sheikh? Trading on her connections to line her pockets Hmm so backhanded covert dealings for cash all good.

I do get she was somewhat strapped for cash though.

I wouldn't want to know if someone deliberately avodibg publicity had gone into labour, but I guess a large proportion of the world does Confused

She's a complete stranger, I really don't get it.

I do hope she absolutely does manage to keep it from everyone for as long as she wants to.

I won't be sitting around speculating about her deeply personal business...she'll be induced...ooo Doria s arrived in good time...calculating her birth date...

I know its exciting for many. I will be pleased when a mother is safely delivered of a baby, same as any DM though.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/04/2019 00:37

William at Anzac Day memorial today.
He must be f*ed. It’s an 11 hour time difference and 27 hour flight.
Kate must be doing the dawn service.

Smotheroffive · 25/04/2019 00:40

Oh thread seems to have disintegrated into picking holes in what famous women wear?! Confused

That's what really matters, judging women's wardrobe choices. Get a life and stop being mean and judgey.

Butterymuffin · 25/04/2019 00:48

I actually really like that outfit of Sophie's, including the shoes - it's not hugely exciting or high fashion but I can see myself wearing it. Kate's clothes offer a different kind of pleasure for me as I couldn't be more different in looks and body type!

The flight to NZ is brutal, but presumably William will have gone first class which will make the experience considerably more comfortable. Quite different in economy.

The anticipation of Meghan's due date comes from a good place on this thread at least. It'll happen when it happens of course. Just looking forward to a safe outcome all sound and filling the time with thoughts about dates.

Butterymuffin · 25/04/2019 00:51

Smother don't think it was mean and judgy. Clothes and what people think of them are a key part of these threads, but generally without that getting personal about the wearer. There is a difference.

SenecaFalls · 25/04/2019 01:24

Smother I think most of us are on here because we are interested in fashion to some degree. We talk about what we like and what we don't like. I think most people do try not to be personal about the wearer, although I will admit that I usually only comment on things that I like, except for that Norland Nanny uniform.

Humpy84 · 25/04/2019 02:05

I’ve started a new thread

Royal news and Analysis for anyone who wants to openly discuss the news, events and media a report of the British royal family. A place to discuss freely your thoughts and opinions on royal news and pop culture.

Humpy84 · 25/04/2019 02:18

I mean obviously many people will want to stay on this thread but for anyone wanting to chat about royal news more deeply and have more debate and talk freely, the new thread might be for you.

mathanxiety · 25/04/2019 02:27

I saw a photo of a young Prince Michael somewhere, without the beard. I think if he grew a beard William would look much nicer very like him.

Smotheroffive · 25/04/2019 02:56

I hear you, thanks.

Paradyning · 25/04/2019 05:13

I love the cut of Leti's dress. It really suits her. Kind of like the print

queenofarles · 25/04/2019 05:44

Goodness! Why did I click on that Hashtag, it only leads to “team Meghan” accounts like modern Sussex, positive Megan or the like, they all think William is banishing his brother to Africa , and this affair is karma Hmm

Wetdogloveshubert · 25/04/2019 07:19

I liked Sophie's outfit from yesterday - like Butterymuffin (LoD ref?) It's something I can see myself wearing for work. Smart, not try-hard and keeps the focus on what you're saying/doing. The shoes are too bright for me though.

Wetdogloveshubert · 25/04/2019 07:20

I also liked Leti's dress! Not something I could pull off, but it's fun.
