I know someone called Sally who is in her early 30s - genuinely - and is prettiness personified. She is also really kind and sweet. So not a Sally. 🙂

Mapril · 09/04/2019 14:00

Claiming that she forgot is transparently and risibly disingenuous

To be fair, she may have just had a few too many shandies. One of those morning afters where the Threads I’m On button should have a question mark Grin

starbrightnight · 09/04/2019 14:01

Hear hear, Hearhere. Eloquently put. I think I sensed that.

Also agree she's an Alison, Sally, or Pamela.

FoxSquadKitten · 09/04/2019 14:39

I always thought Sallys were sweet and pretty (yes, ALL of them) or maybe that's just Aunt Sally? 🧐🤔

I think OP looks like a Tina or a Sarah.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 09/04/2019 14:51

Not sure why this is causing such a stir?!

formerbabe · 09/04/2019 14:57

I have previously been tempted to post a photo and do a how old am I thread...think I'll give it a miss

MrsChanandlerBongg · 09/04/2019 15:30

@Roussette Can someone start an eyebrow thread please, I've got a lot to say about those ghastly fake thick things

I'm a makeup artist and I agree!! They piss me off. The girls come in with them on Confused The fluffier the better in my opinion Halo

YemenRoadYemen · 09/04/2019 15:44

Out of interest, why? Do you really think you'd get anything other than honest answers, while having your ego buried six feet under?

I have quite a thick skin! I think it's interesting because I think most people think they look younger than they are...I know I do. Also, irl, people always say you look good or younger than you are, but not always mean it. I'd love to know the truth! Anyway, I don't want to out myself so won't anyway...I might do alright though...I don't smoke, drink, lay in the sun and i stay chubby to plump out any wrinkles Grin

ChristinaMarlowe · 09/04/2019 15:54

Around 55. Lovely hair.

TheGrey1houndSpeaks · 09/04/2019 15:55

How old are you, formerbabe? Once most people hit 40ish, they can look fabulous or crap for their age but their age is never really too difficult to gauge. Within a year or two, obviously, it’s not an exact science...

formerbabe · 09/04/2019 16:01

I'm 37

bebeboeuf · 09/04/2019 16:51

I’m thinking Elaine if we are going down names.
Second choice Brenda

Greenglassteacup · 09/04/2019 17:05

Or Rhonda

Greenglassteacup · 09/04/2019 17:06

Or Moira

Hearhere · 09/04/2019 17:19

I agree with this

My guess would be a young looking early to mid 50s as you have similar lines to me

YemenRoadYemen · 09/04/2019 18:48

I'd love to know the truth!

As long as it's complimentary! Wink I don't think you'd 'love' it if people added 5, 10 or more years. Nor if they pointed out flaws you weren't even aware of. And IME, chubbiness often makes younger people look more middle-aged.

In any case, it's a moot point. Very wisely.

Pianobook · 09/04/2019 18:59

You can’t always tell from a photo anyway. I can look quite passable or more usually horrendous depending on angle, lighting, make up etc.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 09/04/2019 20:46

OP is most definitely a Sue.

I haven't even posted a photo of myself and you've managed to sound quite bitchy about me...Cheers for that!

I think she looks like a Heather.

I posted a photograph last summer of me in a dress I used to wear years ago. I had masses of comments about my hair - which was actually a hairpiece - and how ageing it was. But agreed, if you post photos then you open yourself up to any comments. Be prepared.

formerbabe · 09/04/2019 21:34

I think the op looks like a Vanessa
