Oooof, people really like to put the OPs of these threads in their place. She does not look 65.

Really? You're really asking that?? I can't even get my head around the idea of thinking that shaping your eyebrows is some kind of totally universal interest that women have. I couldn't care less about the shape of my fucking eyebrows and have 'done' them maybe three times a year max, ever.

I was pressured into having my eyebrows "done" by a beauty therapist "friend" (turns out she wasn't so much!) and she overdid the waxing - never had them "done" again (and that was 20 years ago).

I don't have very dark eyebrows though - they're mostly fairly invisible - so I don't see any need.

If your eyebrows have thinned and faded, an eyebrow pencil is your friend. Threading or the dreaded slug brow I would never contemplate. However, the eyebrows frame your face and so some subtle use of a pencil restores that frame.

I think you looks young in face maybe 40, but that top and necklace is more like 55/60.

God, now op is being told she needs to lose weight, as well as looking 65! A cautionary tale as to why these validation threads are a hugely bad idea.

The most interesting part of this thread is the eyebrow discussion I disagree that tinting/pencilling or "doing" your eyebrows makes you look younger. It makes my nordic looking friends (those with naturally very pale hair and eyebrows) look bizarre. Mind you they are in their 30s. I hope we dont have to start slugging it up when we hit our 40s

I suspect these threads are started by the people least able to deal with the brutal honesty that ensues.

I hope the OP is OK, and that this acts as a caution as to why these threads are an absolutely terrible idea.

I'd recommend asking MN to remove the thread before more people pile on to target more areas that you didn't even realise you should have a problem with.

I think most people would understand. This is so far from healthy it's untrue.
