Ok...Never Blue washed shirt or not? what are you doing? ,I like it but is just blue shirt , and expensive...

I am keeping the Chaminox in 10 ( am a bit surprised at this given my current tummy size , but they are not a small 10 and they are actually a really good fit on me . I think I am also keeping the Janelle dress also in the S ,
Moritz are going back , just too expensive , but the shirt ? Hmm ....
What do you think of it never?

Laska2Meryls · 02/04/2019 19:49

fuzzy Cute slippers!! (and quite cool also)

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 19:52

Thanks @cherries. @melen hee hee - elasticated waist and crimplene horrors!! @fuzzy - cute slippers.

dontcallmelen · 02/04/2019 19:55

Fuzzy very cool slippers.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 19:57

I really like it. But like you it is ££ and I didn't even get a discount on it. That said, it looks cute with a white vest under it and slightly unbuttoned with my short black washed skirt [ that I got today.]
I really like the moritz, but think I am with you. Think I will return and maybe re-order if there is another discount down the line. There are loads of these in the shops atm and for better prices than the hush ones. So think I will return the moritz, black star leopard tee and probably the V-neck black slub as its just a black tee. Think I may keep the blue shirt, camo skirt, black washed skirt and that's it.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:01

Pros and cons of blue shirt:
Pros**
Its versatile,
Soft,
nice colour.
comfortable.
It may be hard to get another one quite as nice.
It may sell out
cons**
Price
It is just another blue shirt
I hate ironing! Does it need ironed? Maybe that's a plus!

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:03

As another pro - It may wash up nice and fade nicely. I am not good with denim shirts so maybe this is a happy medium for me? Its not that great a colour with denim though. Although looks nice with black or a faded washed black.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:04

I also think a question to ask is how much will you wear it?

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:05

Oh and my crime London trainers are utterly amazing and gorgeous and even nicer in real life.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:08

I am surprised that no one has bought the khaki chino pencil skirt. it is gorgeous btw. Its a lovely shape and similar to the denim pencil skirt from a few seasons back and the one that is on this season.

NotAnActualSheep · 02/04/2019 20:14

fuzzy - love them!!! Though I would be a bit concerned if you do have an actual cat they would try to attack your feet ShockGrin. I've just remembered we are cat-sitting for a workmate of DH over Easter and I'm really looking forward to having a cat-overlord again for a bit (even though she will almost certainly hate us).

I am loving the cropped trouser love Grin... Its definitely a shape that is growing on me and I'm looking forward to digging out mine from last year.. Though I will have to wait till its a bit warmer, as blue goose-pimply calves are not a good look.

Yy to the makeovers! They look great! And I totally agree that their whole demeanour seems totally changed at the end... So much "brighter", metaphorically as well as in their hair/clothes Smile. Am a bit concerned about the "look" though Shock. How does one avoid that??!

Laska2Meryls · 02/04/2019 20:19

I dont think it will need ironing Never Smile..I always hang shirts direct on hangers wet after washing anyway , reduces ironing loads.

Yes am convinced I am keeping, still glad I got the L though , if anyone else is fairly broad shoulder like me then I would def size up,

I may look at those Next comfy crops though

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:24

Well mine come tomorrow so will see how they look. They may be terrible but you cant tell by the picture. I will let you know!

NotAnActualSheep · 02/04/2019 20:24

I'd not noticed the jersey shirt before, to be honest... Though having seen it now, it does look really nice and very versatile. I love jersey shirts (possibly the lack of ironing compared to "proper" shirts...though my bar is set vey low for that)! It looks a gorgeous colour, and is low in stock so may not go in any sales. You could wear it as a kind of jacket over sleeveless dresses or something (kind of like the khaki frayed star one from A/W)? Though I haven't seen it or tried it on, but it sounds as if you both like it but are just dithering on the price. Fair enough Smile but yy, how much wear would it get? And how annoyed would you be if you sent it back and then it sold out? I think I may be tempted to keep, possibly...

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:26

I like the idea of them being jersey denim. They might hang better and feel nice if its warm.

ilovecherries · 02/04/2019 20:26

Talking about goose-pimply calves - do you fake tan? I never have (and am also a total sun-dodger), but I am thinking my legs might look better with a bit of colour. Not bothered about the rest of me. How do you stop it streaking/going orange/creasing horribly at the ankles and behind the knees (saw an example of all three of these on one pair of legs at the supermarket checkout today).

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:27

Yes not.. I am thinking I will keep it.

dontcallmelen · 02/04/2019 20:28

Not just borrow my dd, she has an inbuilt radar for the ‘Look’

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:28

Ive done fake tan. I like the st Tropez as it goes on well. Do the usual, exfoliate and shave the day before then plenty of moisturiser especially round the knees and bony bits and then using a tanning mit apply. Its pretty simple. The smell of fake tan is another story....

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:30

I always worry about my knees and ankles coming up darker but I try to avoid this by putting on a little layer of extra moisturise after applying the fake tan. If it does turn out dark on your dry bits then usually after a bath and a bit of scrubbing, it looks way better.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/04/2019 20:31

I think having a tanning mit is the key.

dontcallmelen · 02/04/2019 20:34

Cherries a good one is moisturiser combined with a tan element dove do a good one called summer glow & you can get in different shades.
Also lots of brands do one, that you do in the shower always good to exfoliate before you use as well, if you go to a salon fake bake is good one.

dontcallmelen · 02/04/2019 20:35

Yy tanning mitt.

FuzzyPuffling · 02/04/2019 20:36

not we have two cats. They can attack one each.

Cherries I am so heartened to hear your tales of wearing wigs. Having had thick hair all my life, it is now falling out ( auto immune disease) and I worry about life with n hair. I don't think my head is a very nice shape. And I remember when DH lost all his hair through chemo how people treated him differently. It is such a visible marker of illness. But you are so matter of fact and cheery I shall approach it with renewed enthusiasm for the bald life. Thank you.

Laska2Meryls · 02/04/2019 20:39

Ive paid it to my CC (and the rest of the stuff) so I am keeping.. ! Its mine Smile . Now all I have to do is wait for refunds to clear my CC again and send back the oasis crops straight back when they arrive.

Yes I fake tan Cherries, step 1: exfoliate like mad and use body moisturiser, for a few weeks first!. I use a gradual tanner , I like
L' oreal, summer glow in light usually buy it in Boots .. haven ever found it go streaky, But exfoliate and mosturiser always . also the first couple of applications I actually mix it in to my usual moisturiser (which is e45 or something else cheap and perfumed ) to get a really light base to work on .
