Ooh Ella lunch sounds amazing.

Ellapaella · 31/03/2019 20:23

@twosoups1972 if she was going to infect you I think it's probably already happened (sorry). If it's been 48 hours since she last vomited then she shouldn't now be infectious and should be ok for school etc as long as she feels well. When mine get the lurgy I bleach absolutely all bathroom surfaces, toilet seat, sinks etc and wash all bedding in a hot wash. Good hand hygiene is an absolute must so just make sure she's religious about washing her hands before and after the loo etc. That should go some way to minimising the likelihood of you all catching it.

Fuzzy I love linen in the summer as well, I have a a coral coloured linen dress with godet panel skirt
Which I bought from Hobbs years ago, it’s my favourite summer dress.
Joules usually have some nice linen dresses as well.

dontcallmelen · 31/03/2019 20:57

@SoyYo hope all is well & you had a good day.

EachandEveryone · 31/03/2019 21:04

twosoups1972 · 31/03/2019 22:46

Whoops didn’t mean to use that emoji Blush

Laska2Meryls · 01/04/2019 10:10

£80:for star jeans indeed crazy. I have some from BA I got for 25 I think still with lable on ( but this was a back up pair because I love the ones I had so much)
Twosoups hope dd is a bit better today and also fuzzy DH.
I'm off to see DF today he's the ancestry nut Inthe family so I'll ask him about names Ella

neveradullmoment99 · 01/04/2019 10:16

Not much planned here today. Weather has taken a bit of a down turn. Its been absolutely beautiful these last couple of days so I guess its time for a tidy!

EachandEveryone · 01/04/2019 10:34

I could never get those star jeans over my belly post op. Never worn. I wonder if it’s worth selling them?

EachandEveryone · 01/04/2019 10:37

Wow

Hushista's stepping into spring...
Laska2Meryls · 01/04/2019 10:50

Madness!!

dontcallmelen · 01/04/2019 11:42

Better day here sun is out & not so cold as yesterday, just off to pick dgd up from nursery then off to the park, hoping the sun stays out.
That is indeed madness when you could have got them for £25.00 last summer in the sale or BA.

twosoups1972 · 01/04/2019 13:03

Morning all,

laska hope you have a lovely day with dgd. Weather looks nice here in London too. I'm totally Hush-ing it today - navy pinstripe culottes from a few years back, and red short sleeve sweat shirt top Smile

Thank you ella and melen I've been really careful with bleaching everything and hand washing etc so hopefully we should be ok.

soy hope all is well with you, any more news on the job front?

ilovecherries · 01/04/2019 13:59

I totally became a sheep and ordered both the cropped jeans and cropped jeans in the last few seconds of the discount. Hush trousers often don’t work for me though, so good chance both will go back.

fuzzy, I’m hoping DH picks up soon.

ilovecherries · 01/04/2019 14:02

Oh, and I tried Topshop mom jeans this morning. That would be a no then! They had no redeeming features on me at all, unlike on Ella. All I needed was some string threaded through the belt loops and my transformation to Farmer Cherries would have been complete. I so wanted them as well. And I had to go to a bloody 16 (enraged!) to get them on.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/04/2019 14:40

@cherries Grin at farmer cherries :)
Top shop is notoriously tiny. Its always a size up at least. I know that style would look awful on me. I am far too pear shaped.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/04/2019 14:42

Well I ordered the jersey shirt that laska ordered but unfortunately code had expired but it was low stock and its a lovely shirt.

twosoups1972 · 01/04/2019 14:42

cherries how was your weekend in Scotland and how is your dd?

NotAnActualSheep · 01/04/2019 15:09

Grin @ farmer cherries . I refuse to go into topshop - I always feel far too old and fat to be in there... Shame about the jeans, though, but hopefully the hush ones will work.

fuzzy - Flowers and Cake. Sounds like an exhausting time! Take care of yourself too, as well as DH. Hope he's recovering. I'm a big fan of linen - though I feel it really needs someone a bit more disciplined at ironing than me. I do usually look a bit crumpled when wearing it - but it is such a lovely summery fabric.

soups - hope your family are recovering too. Sounds as if you've been doing the right thing with all your hygiene to not come down with the same bug as DD - so fingers crossed! Also well done at surviving All The Dancing. You sound v stylish today - I considered culottes in a rash moment when it was lovely and sunny this morning, but then thought better of it - prob just as well, as it's gone freezing again and I've had to turn on the heating. Come on SUMMER TIME.

Also lol @ len bribing DGD to stop being so joyful . I do exactly the same...it is so exhausting having the same performance over and over and over and over again. Aaaaaargh. It's the "Mr Peter Bone" thing off twitter that has tickled DS this weekend. (That and "Michael Gove do do do do do do" to the tune of "baby shark" which was his own invention). It still makes me giggle - but not so much belted out by a 7year old for the 100th time... I had to offer something sugary to get him to Shut Up on the bus...

each - yes, I'm still amazed they are selling for so much! To be honest - its probably worth a punt if you don't think you'll wear them. Though of course, it may just be that there haven't been that many for sale up to now. (Or people weren't able to get their size off BA/ hush sale?) If there is a glut of lots of people trying to sell, they probably won't do so well. Who knows?!

Glad you all had good weekends (hangovers notwithstanding...)

ilovecherries · 01/04/2019 15:22

I’m still at home soups. Bloody dissertation is due in Easter Monday so I’m going to stay till then, she’s not in a great state. High anxiety, not sleeping etc so I’m just trying to provide some structure by providing regular meals, enforced dog walks, encouraging her to go to bed, and then to get up again at reasonable times. The stakes are so high nowadays, I seem to remember fitting my dissertation in round the rest of my life, and not getting too wound up aboutit, but her entire class seems to be in meltdown, and most have gone home to parents now.

twosoups1972 · 01/04/2019 15:29

Oh no cherries your poor dd. It sounds like you are doing all the right things and I'm sure she will benefit from having you there. I wish her (and you) well Flowers

twosoups1972 · 01/04/2019 17:28

Is there a current Hush discount code or have I missed it?

neveradullmoment99 · 01/04/2019 17:38

Annoyingly it ended yesterday soups.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/04/2019 17:39

Oh @cherries. So stressful for both you and dd. Even just being there I am sure is support for her. Hope things go well for her :)
