I think Zara looks fab. Her legs look great too! She's not clutching her stomach - she's stopping her coat from blowing open. MM looks like she's wearing a per una coat.

God Almighty, imagine being so rich that you automatically wear a silk evening coat by Dior to a small private family christening.

I really cannot relate to these strange multi millionaires AT ALL.

How do they all have so many coats I have two! Kate’s look is ace, also just like her very literal dressing :) it’s safe and you know what you’re going to get, plus she looks happy

Zara is great because she doesn’t care too much, she’s sort of anti-pomp. MM’s coat is quite nice! Suppose it’s at the bad end of “retro looks” but it’s still nice.

I’m going off Harry, he always looks so angry and is letting MM down - yes I’m sure he’s being protective etc but nothing protection officers can’t do, and MM always manages a professional smile and a wave (and she’s 8 months!) and he ruins the act. IMO she’s being professional and he’s being pompous which is ruining it for her. He probably thinks he’s helping but he’s not. She’s the one performing (in a good way), and he’s just angrily staring out. It’s been this way too many times, I’d rather see more of MM on her own at this point.

Dior?? Really. What a waste of money. I don't think I had a maternity coat at all. Kate should have given her song and they could have been remodelled / shortened.

My theory was that all the maternity coats would be re-modelled for future years, but not sure you even can with this one.

Plus think we’ve realised Kate actually buys a lot of the same stuff, so that’s the “royals being frugal” idea out of the very expensive window. I miss the days Kate would wear Zara and Hobbs :(

Think there’s a problem with costs escalating. We had a few years of Zara and Kate, and then the two York girls, but not as often wearing expensive garb. Now Kate is as much as MM, and suddenly a shabby coat (from Dior!) is very annoying, and then you times that by the number of royals we’re dressing.. it’s too much money!

It’s funny because out of office, Kate seems to wear a lot of semi normal stuff - New Balance, Gap, Zara

Meghan's coat is 50s Dior and I think it looks fine - maybe it just didn't photograph that well.

That coat isn’t even nice in your pic! It’s all subjective, and I think it looks like Per too :)

Yeah, it's fugly. And those big "severed nipple" buttons are yucky.

One of the looks I liked best on Meghan were the cheapest.

The M&S and the green Self Portrait dress last year.

Not a fan of that coat and cannot believe it is Dior what a waste of money. The buttons look like they are about to fall off. Looking forward to seeing MM back to non-pregnant style later in the year :)

It doesn't line up properly when it's done up because it's too small for her with the bump.

The Queen nails it! I love monochrome and she gets it just right with the texture and contrasting gloves and bag.

I don't understand all the hand-wringing about coats. I have 15-20 coats and I'm by no means a millionaire. Buy a decent coat every season and take care of it and you build a collection. Easiest way to look smart is a great coat over basics.

MM's Dior is vintage.
