I think she would look so much better with just a few more lbs on her. Not suggesting she packs on loads of weight. Just she's obviously not naturally that size. The clothes would look so much better on her. I say this as someone who keeps her weight up so I can look good in clothes.. personal opinion of course

I like the coat (and length) apart from the peplum-like side bits. Another slightly boring green coat though.
I think next year she should rewear one of the coats but leave it open and wear a beautiful dress with the three colours of the Irish flag or something. Kate likes literal!
The heels are the ones she wore with the Gucci blouse.

The Mail is calling it Emerald green.
It looks more like bottle green to my eyes.

I like he coat. It has a nice 1940s vibe to it. I think it’s suits her. She is such a literal dresser she is never going to change her St Patrick’s outfit very much.

I think Kate looks fantastic today, I LOVE the new coat and I'm sure it'll get a few re-wears ☘️My only criticism (and I'm being very picky cos I'm Irish!!) is the shamrock corsage is awful - just shamrock on its own next year please Kate!

She always seems to have loads of shamrocks, not sure why quite so many are needed...! But she does. Pinned to one of her many green coats...

I read an article years ago that said the Queen's dressers/stylist (probably Angela Kelly now) keep a record of what was worn on what occasion.
With wardrobes that massive you would need a organisation system.

Just watched the two Channel 5 programmes on The Queen Mum. Very enjoyable. Next I'll be watching Elizabeth: Our Queen - The Early Years, also channel 5.

I haven’t seen that many rewears of Kate’s green coats, apart from the one with the velvet collar and cuffs at Westminster Abbey.
Today’s one is a bit severe but I love the hat. No sign of those hairbands.

I don't like block heels that square, but they look very comfortable, and sensible for the length of standing required. Today's coat is a real win for me, it's beautiful tailoring and really makes Kate look classy. They're looking very handsome together today.

I think the colour really suits her, it's a shame she doesn't rewear them more often.

Emerald green is a lighter and brighter shade, isn't it? This looks more like a forest or bottle (or Meghan??) green.

Kate looks good in military cuts. Two of my all-time favourite outfits of hers are this coat and this skirt and blouse.

Personally I think Kate looks great. I like the peplummy bits as well. I would look ridiculous being shorter and a lot wider but the tailoring on her is pristine. I want a green coat but can't justify one just because I fancy a new colour alas.

Elspeth what happened in 2016 then!?! Did she wear blue and horrify everyone 😂. I think this year's is my favourite though.

I think 2012 and 2013 are the same coat. ( different shade due to photos).
She’s worn it double breasted in her non pregnant state.

@TipseyTorvey 2016 is the only year she didn't make it. Don't know what the reason was, maybe Charlotte was teething!

William looks great in his Irish Guards uniform. Very handsome.
He looks really good in black. But he loves his Airforce blue RAF uniform.
