Yes Saturday’s March and TFS million crowd was magnificent.

@Ella it was advertised with several possible EU locations inc Barcelona which persuaded me to go for it.
At first interview was told that had changed and was based in Paris.
I expressed misgivings about it plus said I was “no good at this and that” (always honest me) which would mean I’d have a stretch with certain aspects of the role.
And I still got put through to the final interview stage!

I know it’s more money but tbh I want to move to Spain as soon as our house in UK is sold, all being delayed by DS moving back.
I’m really not sure...current job is manic/lots of stress already. It’s a highly political role as well and while I’m good at connecting with people and inspiring positiveness in teams I also find it draining and it sucks my energy too much leaving me too exhausted to have a life outside work. This is partly age related I think. As I get older I suffer fools less gladly

Well, I suppose its all to do with work life balance soy.
Tbh, life is too short and although the money would be handy, would the hours you would need to dedicate be worth it? I work to live, not live to work.

Yes @never I agree re life/work balance. I’m sure I’ll spend a lot less when I slow down my manic work as it’s a “reward” for my crazy life at times. I’m the main breadwinner so ideally need to keep going 3 more years till I’m sixty. Even that is a little early but we shall see when the time comes. As current job is Homebased with frequent travel I can move to our house in Spain and work from there at least 6 months of the year which would not be the case with the París based job...no brainer really even if a FR based contract would give me a better pension and better salary till I retire
