Of course there is choreography. But it's not to keep them apart. It's to make sure that everyone in the room gets some time with a member of the royal family. So you're probably trying to remember who it is that they're supposed to talk to and a little bit of background information that they have read about a person in order to aid the conversation.

I'm getting really sick of all these comments about all the "really is something amiss" between Megan and Kate the two women so what if they don't get on. I get on with my sister-in-law but there's no way I would want to spend extended time in her company.

I thought Kate looked a bit tired in the video that Curly posted.
Not keen on her dress if I'm honest; thought Meghan looked good.

I don’t think Kate would feel the need to dress down to not attract attention. The Royals have always dressed up. The famous photo of the Queen Mother visiting a bomb site during the War springs to mind. She is bedecked in jewels and fur!

I was the person who said it seems there is something amiss. However if you read the post, you will see I was referring to William and Harry. And I believe something has happened between them other than a natural drifting apart.

I agree SlipperOrchid there doesn’t seem to be any banter between them anymore. I still think Kate is looking unwell.

Both ladies looked lovely yesterday, Meghan especially. Kate seems to be using a much lighter hand with the aul eyeliner these days, doesn't she? Looks far better.

Apparently there are a few of those Prince of Wales brooches knocking around, 2 or 3. So it's not certain that Camilla is wearing the one Diana wore, some people think it's a different one.

But regardless, they're worn by the spouse of the Prince of Wales, so undoubtedly it won't be too many years before Catherine wears it.

Yes they have to work according to seniority but there is no longer the laughter, smiles and banter. Everything is now overly formal and they appear unnaturally detached from one another.

To me in the video William seemed a bit lost in general as oppose to something being amiss, as they walk into the meet and greet line I he and Kate were talking to
Someone out if shot that could have been Harry and Meghan. He looks fine when talking one on one but as they walk into the first room he looks like he isn't sure what to do it looks like he turns back to talk to Harry but sees he is talking to the courtier so turns back then eventually slides into conversation with Camillia and kate. I wonder if they were running late as Harry and Meghan didn't even fake looking at the documents!

I don't think you can tell anything from formal occasions like that they are all so choreographed and stiled everyone looks odd to me. We were used to seeing William and harrry and Kate normally and less formal events which obviously allows for the rules to be relaxed. Plus a big ott look how ok we are show would be criticised to.

Time will tell but I think it's natural siblings drift a bit once they are
Married with their own families.

Let's see what today brings form Kate I'm guessing a rewear we havent seen in her in berry or green in a while! Fair play to Meghan she is obviously planning to work right up till due date! Makes sense to me put the work in before if you can do you can enjoy as much time. I hope yesterday wasn't a fluke and Meghan has hit her pregnancy fashion grove now!

It was Camilla he was chatting to.

I imagine the whole dull thing lasted no longer than 20 minutes. I suspect the plebs were there for a while and then the Royals obediently trooped in for a bit of polite conversation and then drifted away again pretty quickly.

I was surprised that Harry and Meghan didn't go and look at the display - they had time for a quick glance, as they held back for the more senior royals to move through in to the main reception.

Slipper I agree with you. I think something is amiss between WAnd H. All the brotherly cameraderie seems to have evaporated. H looks grim faced and tense a lot of the time now. M looks desperate to please but a bit lost. K looks drawn and unwell but is giving it her all. W looks detached . It’s all a bit strange.

I imagine they do not think of themselves as less “senior royals” - perhaps they were hoping to squeeze in ahead of K and W?

The artefacts were there to be admired not ignored.

Ooh is Kate going to end up on Diet Prada?? That does look a copy, but then it is a plain dress. Does K not have a stylist now if NA has gone? I don’t mind the plain dressing, it gives us all less to comment on her looks and puts the focus elsewhere - the ultimate in sensible dressing

There is definitely protocol in any 'procession' though - Queen then Charles and Camilla, then W & K followed by H & M. I am quite sure they are all aware of their position in the line-up! Grin They literally got to the door, and stood to the side to let the others through first - maybe Meghan wasn't feeling great - understandably.

Catherine doesn’t look well imo. She looks really tired and stressed. Something isn’t right, wondering if she is unwell or something more serious is going on.

+1 for thinking W and H have fallen out.

Think it’s H realising he’s no longer in the main group of royals - it used to be him and W as the headline acts as it were, but there is going to come a time when H has to realise it’s about W and his family. Think with H and M having a child, H is looking for reassurance that he too will remain at W’s level, but that’s just not sustainable. Andy has gone through the same thing and come out looking an idiot (but that’s just Andy), H needs to maintain his dignity and focus on his niche and not on being at the top level

Fortunately I don't think Harry is remotely like his uncle. Even before Meghan arrived on the scene he was carving a place for himself with his HIV charity and the Invictus Games.

If Kate looks tired I imagine it's more to do with having 3 kids under 5! I know she has nannies and staff but I imagine she does a lot of their care herself as it would've been what she was used to growing up. I'm not sure the Middletons employed an army of nannies!

I thought Meghan looked lovely.
Katie's dress was rather bland and forgettable. I agree with others who've said that she maybe looks ill.
Maybe the DOE is in poor health? I thought the Royals seemed distracted. (that is just my take on it though!)

I think we're all getting a little dramatic. Apparently everyone looks ill and something is going on.

Maybe they were just all bored/knackered by having 3 kids/pregnant/not in a chatty mood.

The insinuations of illness etc make us seem a bit Daily Mail-ish. Almost as if we're hoping for something so there's gossip fodder.
