Haven’t watched any Royal stuff live since Eugenie’s wedding.

Meghan looks fantastic today. The coat is beautiful and those shoes are amazing, I long for them every time she wears them and I very rarely wear heels!

MM’s coat is beautiful she really has got it down.

Like that the coat is quite “traditional” - she can wear what might otherwise look quite “stuffy” clothes because she’s so pretty, it makes for a very Jackie-O effect.

And the shoes! Swoon!

Meghan looks great, a British label too! Plus, the designer is Turkish and English, was born in Canada and raised between Canada and England - a good choice for Canada House.

The tailoring fits her perfectly, it’s shocking how the higher £££££ stuff Dior, Givenchy didn’t fit her as good as this Erdem coat and dress. It shows that sometimes higher price tag doesn’t mean better.

And Harry finally looks a little happier

Meghan would look great in some of the Queen’s outfits from the 60s, or Princess Margaret’s.
As long as they didn’t have a nipped in waist.
Would be great if any had been kept to be recycled.

I’ve chosen a few outfits from HM and PMs wardrobes to inspire Meghan.

Agree with pp; Erdem should be Meghan’s go to man

Meghan looks lovely but the back of the neck on that coat would drive me cracked- a draught down my neck/ back. Why ?

Erdem played it right, they’ve decided to go big or go home . They showed the French couturiers how it’s done. Seeing that it’s from their AW 20 show they must have worked non stop to produce it and yet it turned out beautifully.

Sorry to be negative but although I like the shape and colour, the coat looks like something my mother would have worn and then added a bit of random appliqué from John Lewis or somewhere. Can’t believe it’s such an expensive outfit. Love her shoes though and she is ridiculously pretty.

I love this whole outfit. She is such a pretty woman. I'm impressed she can hunker down like that at 8 months. I'd have keeled over to the side if I tried it.

The neck sort of reminds me of kimono necks. I like it. Its totally impractical, but then it's a winter coat with sequins on it and bracelet sleeves - it's for looking pretty more than for trekking through the gales.

Kind if hope it will be recut and reworn afterwards, if that's possible to do. She does suit that green shade very well and it woild be a shame for it to be a worn once number.

This outfit is truly fabulous, I love everything about it. She is very beautiful and is glowing.

Well ,purely MPOV ,but I don't like the coat and dress .

Might look quite different in the flesh but I think it's too dark and that the black glittery bits make it look darker .

And ,again might look different in reality ,but the fabric looks thick which adds to the general heaviness of the outfit .It looks like it would stand up on it's own .

And I don't like the neckline of the dress ,particularly with the coat open - it creates a wide hard edged square of flesh the shape of which I think is unflattering to M's delicate lovely face .

But I adore the shoes and love her hair .

And how on earth does she knell down like that to accept the flowers from the little girl !!!!!
