Prince Phillip chose Prince Charles name.

Commonwealth day looks interesting.
Meghan going to Canada house will be fun for her.
I’m just amazed she’s got the stamina to keep going. Hopefully she’ll nip home and have a nap between engagements!
She’s probably one of those people who gets bored unless she’s busy.

I wonder when the house at Frogmore is going to be ready.
I guess the designer will make sure the furniture is in situ and they’ll have help to pack and unpack their personal stuff from KP.

I would just love to know where all the royal ladies store their clothes.
I suspect Anne and Sophie just have wardrobes.
The Queen and Kate must have actual rooms fulls of stuff.

That tiny waist!!Shock. No wonder she’s clutching her pearls, she’s trying to take her mind off the pain.

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/03/2019 07:45

And HM is the spit of her aunt Mary. This is the QM's father. Is it just me or is there a faint look of Charles about him?

Good for Meghan to keep going. Let's face it, plenty of women with far more demanding jobs work up until their due date!

I think we'll see her in a Canadian designer tonight, or maybe Club Monaco if she goes high street.

I find the people who get bored unless they are busy never have to worry about the mundane stuff that keeps the rest of us occupied.

user1457017537 · 11/03/2019 09:38

I think I saw in a documentary that clothes and assecories are sited and stored in a temperature controlled and sealed environment. No moth damage then.

user1457017537 · 11/03/2019 09:42

I’m older than most on here and even at the time the Queen was considered to dress old fashioned. Then again the present generation have had the benefit of cosmetic surgeries, teeth veneers and hair enhancements.

Paradyning · 11/03/2019 09:49

Also make-up technology is better. That pancake face the powder gives the Queen wouldn't happen with today's cosmetics. I'm guessing powder used to have talc in or some such?

Notmyrealname855 · 11/03/2019 10:08

Gosh the Princess Anne one is close!

Think QEII looks a bit like Mary, other than the nose. Quite a straight stare. Also props to Mary for wearing a headpiece (?), wouldn’t mind seeing more of those but can’t imagine who’d be brave enough to try!

user1457017537 · 11/03/2019 10:21

Elizabeth I had to rely on lead in her make-up. Thank God we have come a long way!

Meghan and Harry arrive at Canada House

Finally a maternity coat. Looks like a 50s Style. Very nice.
I think this photo was taken by a bystander so looking forward to some better pics.

All the photos are from the back.

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/03/2019 11:24

Oh I thought the Canada thing was tonight and the Commonwealth service was this morning? I thought she might go red with maple leaf motifs for the visit but she's clearly not as literal a dresser as Kate Grin

Meghan has 2 favourite brands of shoes - Aquazurra and Altazarra. Don't worry @Curly, I get confused by them too!

Sorry, AltUzarra.

I did love her a little bit for going to Prince Edward Island and basically dressing as Anne of Green Gables!

She seemed to enjoy meeting Justin Trudeau too but then again what woman wouldn't??

Commonwealth service is at 3pm

I wonder whether Meghan will change again, as it will be a hatvwearing occasion in the Abbey

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/03/2019 11:35

I think we'll see hats, hose and long hemlines!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 11/03/2019 11:35

That dress and coat is divine.
She’s really getting into her stride with the Duchess look.
That late 50s / early 60s style suits her to a tee; especially when pregnant
