I find the people who get bored unless they are busy never have to worry about the mundane stuff that keeps the rest of us occupied.

I think I saw in a documentary that clothes and assecories are sited and stored in a temperature controlled and sealed environment. No moth damage then.

I’m older than most on here and even at the time the Queen was considered to dress old fashioned. Then again the present generation have had the benefit of cosmetic surgeries, teeth veneers and hair enhancements.

Also make-up technology is better. That pancake face the powder gives the Queen wouldn't happen with today's cosmetics. I'm guessing powder used to have talc in or some such?

Think QEII looks a bit like Mary, other than the nose. Quite a straight stare. Also props to Mary for wearing a headpiece (?), wouldn’t mind seeing more of those but can’t imagine who’d be brave enough to try!

Elizabeth I had to rely on lead in her make-up. Thank God we have come a long way!
