Let's keep criticism to the clothes rather than the women please...

RE Kate:
I like the red coat dress
I actually quite liked the off duty jeans & jumper. I do like a cricket jumper though. Low ponytail is kind of a mum thing, so she at least looked relatable!
Agree with a PP that her smile is lovely and she is obviously engaged and interested, which is really important.
Love the Missoni dress, just agree it's not the right colour for her.

RE Leti:
Wow. No other words will do. Dress is stunning and the tiara is unusual and beautiful. Leti wins the internet for me.

Had my first royal dream last night!!

DH and I were invited to some sort of royal family dinner - and we managed to blag seats next to the Cambridge's! I remember sitting next to the duchess and feeling in awe of how beautiful and slim she is and feeling very under dressed and dowdy in comparison. We bonded over our mutual love of expensive white wine and spent the evening knocking it back and having a right laugh together. She was wearing the missoni green lurex dress.

Then we went outside after the formal dinner was over and were playing on the lawn with Prince George whilst tipsy!!

Wow that was a weird but fun dream! Just wanted to share!

Wetdogloveshubert · 28/02/2019 07:03

Leti's dress and tiara combination are so fairytale, I agree Curly. The sash tucked in looks odd from all angles though.

No itinerary announcement yet from KP. I wonder if they'll head back today, or do a mini break like H&M, staying for some private tourism?

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/02/2019 07:08

They're doing another day of engagements today (itinerary tbc) and heading back this evening, apparently. Not sure if NI is as conducive to a mini-break as Morocco at this time of year!

That's brilliant @thisshitgotreal. My sole royal dream (so far) involved afternoon tea with William and Meghan, where they solemnly assured me that rumours of a feud were false!

Not sure about the placement of the sash, I’d get deodorant all over it! But hello tiara!

Kate looks so happy! I’ve not seen anyone have so much fun in ages, agree it must be very freeing to not always be the centre of attention. The clothes sort of go with their role as our head boy and head girl :)

beanaseireann · 28/02/2019 07:35

Dublin was basking in beautiful sunshine yesterday so Northern Ireland was, presumably enjoying untypical balmy February weather too. Smile

AFifthOfKoolAid · 28/02/2019 07:43

I like how Kate is dressed for that football engagement. I have no problem with discussing her clothes, because it's just fun, but she's not a fashion model so I don't think she needs to do anything. I love that she didn't give a shit about looking high fashion for a sporty activity with a bunch of kids. She had functional, practical clothes for a sunny winter day in Northern Ireland - it's not her job to "get it right" and look immaculate, she is not a clothes horse.

However, also... ugh I'm in love with that Missoni dress! Also love what Sophie was wearing yesterday, and Letizia.

LoversLane · 28/02/2019 07:48

Leti’s dress and tiara .... just perfect! Smile

I’m not keen on the red coat but for kicking a football around she was just like any mum and very engaging. Liked the Missoni dress too but agree that you need more on top to make it work better. I think the flash washes the colour out and it is probably a nicer colour in real life and more suited to her colouring.

ElspethFlashman · 28/02/2019 07:49

I suspect all of Kates Kiki stuff is birthday/Christmas/birth presents. I really have no no basis for thinking that except that she debuts them at a rate of about one a year.

LoversLane · 28/02/2019 07:53

Apparently Leti’s dress is a re wear!

Imagine going to any event with her and knowing that, whatever you wear, will never come close to how utterly stunning she will look!

Notmyrealname855 · 28/02/2019 08:08

Think that’s a really important part of looking at their clothes AFifth, to see how well the clothes suit them and their personality. Kate doesn’t often have the clothes wear her, she pretty much always looks comfortable in her outfits. She’s also just very smiley which helps :)

This is why I like Anne and her looks! It’s always very her, and Sophie has certainly found her niche. The York girls pretty much have their own styles down (not always my thing, but usually interesting). Meghan’s casual looks are usually spot on (very pre-engagement cool), think she needs more time on the fancier stuff as a) I don’t like her stylist tbh for relying on labels and not considering her enough, and b) she’s very pregnant! It’ll be so much easier post-baby for her. There are so many stylists in the states and wish she’d ditch Mulroney

Notmyrealname855 · 28/02/2019 08:09

Leti literally looks like a doll! What’s the Spanish royal family like? It always feels like Leti and her husband are the only ones, they seem very alone on that stage some times

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 28/02/2019 08:16

I think they’ve slimmed down the Spanish Royal Family because of one of Felipe’s sister’s husband’s imprisonment for fraud. Juan Carlos abdicated at the same time.
Infanta Cristina ( wife of jailbird) lives in Switzerland.
I’m not sure about infanta Elena, but she is very low profile.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 28/02/2019 08:19

Sophie in Oscar de la Renta.
Her visit to museum of fashion in bath looked interesting.
Especially heroitfit for W&K’s wedding. Looks much more luxe in RL. On the day it photographed a bit beige.

I am not keen on Sophie’s coat. She seems to love it though.
The cashmere coat over Christmas was sharper.

Leti looks exquisite.

ElspethFlashman · 28/02/2019 08:53

Yes Sophies coat is just a floppy beige thing. It's probably hideously expensive and feels lush and snuggly but it eradicates the shape of anything nice worn under it.

Aberforthsgoat · 28/02/2019 08:58

Don’t love sophie’s Coat in the latest pic, it swamps her and does nothing for her.

LOVE Kate’s green Missoni although I agree about the shoes but I think strappies would have really dressed it up. I love seeing W&K on active engagements they always look like they’re having the best time and their competitiveness really comes out

Leti - WOW. That tiara. That dress. Total fairy tale and she looks totally comfortable and relaxed too. beautiful

LuciaSpain · 28/02/2019 09:40

Love Leti's dress. Liked the Missoni too, it would have suited Kate's colouring better if it was a warmer light green.

I think Meghan is the best thing to have happened W&K in years, they are adored now all of a sudden. And also they are going to be the bosses/hold the money so there will be towing the line by H&M if William says so. Charles's cheque book will be William's and that's where H&M will get most of their money.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 28/02/2019 09:44

Really not liking the Missoni. Although i love the design, I would love to see it in a different fabric. Any fabric! It reminds me of something my mum had for local Council functions in the 70s. Nasty.

motheroftinydragons · 28/02/2019 10:06

I love the Missoni. She has such a stunning figure, I wonder what her diet and exercise regime is (not that I'd manage it in a million lifetimes!) .

RatherBeRiding · 28/02/2019 10:10

Love Sophie's dress but the coat does rather swamp it - something tailored might have worked better but she seems to love her big coats atm.

LuciaSpain · 28/02/2019 10:11

I would say lots of strength training and lots of protein foods.

To be fair motheroftinydragons, it's a bit easier for her to look after her figure and diet to the extent she does than the average woman.

AFifthOfKoolAid · 28/02/2019 10:15

I reckon she lifts weights, motheroftinydragons. She's got some impressive arms!

Daisypie · 28/02/2019 11:07

I really liked Kate's Missoni dress. Leti is just iconically beautiful in that dress and tiara.
Sophie's coat reminds me of my own long beige cardigan which is so cosy and comfy and so unsmart.
