I am longing for a bottle of Une Rose Chypree but it is soooooo spendy. Still, have sold a lot on eBay recently so perhaps I can justify it as wedding prep

I’ve just been really naughty and ordered the set of Shanghai Tang mini perfumes from Tks. I’m not sure I will like them all but figured I could offload them on eBay if I don’t. My excuse is the bottles are beautiful, I adore bamboo perfumes and I used to love the shop when I lived in Hk plus the perfumer is pretty good.

I have just made the cardinal sin of shopping when hungry but consequently have had the best almond pastry i have ever tasted. FROM ALDI.

i had a sniff of the Jo Malone dupes for Georgian and while everyone i know raves about them i wasn't impressed at all so maybe test before you buy. I got some Linen fragranced reed diffusers from Matalan (£2!!!!) for our downstairs loo which are completely fine.

i also sniffed Masculine (a dupe for something really familiar that i could not place, perhaps Opium for men????) and Steel aftershaves, for research purposes and that would be a NO from me.

My mini PPs have arrived i shall report back.

Shitty shitty shitty day. Wearing shay&blue salt caramel for the ultimate comfort, and have eaten carbs, sugar and cheese. Nearly went for wine at 1220 but needed to be on the ball so had tea instead. I hate tea - that's how bad the day was. I resorted to bloody tea.

I am still debating buying an FB of PHI Une Rose de Kandehar but I still want to try the rest of the AT's in case there's something I like better and I'm also weirdly paranoid that I won't like the FB as much as the sample if it's from a different batch.
