Here we go again, and as always say what you like about the clothes but keep it civil re the wearers of said clothes!

From the descriptions I read of the itinerary for Meghan's visit it didn't sound like it could all have been done in 30 minutes. No idea if the itinerary was correct though.

ElspethFlashman · 01/02/2019 08:56

But it begs the question, what did she actually DO in there?

I honestly assumed she was there to see a performance or a dress rehearsal or take a tour of a new area or something. But all of that takes longer than half an hour. I mean, if you chop 5 mins off each end for hellos and goodbyes, it was only 20 minutes of actual "visit".

Does anyone have the press guff?

megletthesecond · 01/02/2019 09:02

Are the 30 min visits partly due to security concerns. Most of these venues aren't Fort Knox and once the visit is public it could attract all kind of dodgy individuals. Heaven knows what goes on that we will never hear about.

ElspethFlashman · 01/02/2019 09:04

Oh wait, I'm getting mixed up. Which visit was allegedly only 30 mins? The peach NT one or the black University one?

Twisique · 01/02/2019 09:28

When I was that pregnant I needed the loo every ten minutes so I think Meghan is doing very well with her half hour plus journey time!

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/02/2019 09:37

@ElspethFlashman the NT but looking at what the palace posted I find it hard to believe it was only thirty minutes

There’s a good few inches of snow here in Bristol and the Old Vic is on cobbled streets, so she would be very brave to try that in heels.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/02/2019 09:43

Weather in Bristol

I’d like to see Meghan in some Maternity trousers.
Surely it will be flat boots and not stilletoes with the snow on the ground.
Interesting to see what coat she picks. Surely a wrap one to keep the bump warm.

BlingLoving · 01/02/2019 09:44

I find it hard to believe she was only there for 30 minutes. all the arrival hand shaking and curtseying and bowing and the same on departure is close to 10 minutes. She saw a performance. She chatting to a number of people then she wondered into the bowels of the theatre to meet the people working in construction/back stage. No WAY it was 30 minutes.

Kate tends towards lower end dresses for school type visits. The suits/skirts are for when she meets adults. So I'd expect something in line with the green dress from the other day or the polka dot one a couple of weeks ago. Entirely likely to be a rewear.

With two glamourous events coming up, I hope we get a new dress. One rewear and one new dress feels like a good combo. Agree that the blue mini dress with the long skirt was one of her sexiest looks ever. She has incredible legs. Would love to see that again - but maybe later in the year? Meghan has lovely slim legs but they're like mine - a little shapeless and a bit knobbly due to the skinniness. But Kate's legs are incredibly shapely and toned. Honestly, I like my legs (and Meghan's) but hers are the best.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/02/2019 09:44

@yahbasic
Are you going to pop along to be a roving reporter?

BlingLoving · 01/02/2019 09:47

Sorry, getting ACU and National Theatre visit confused. But still not convinced about the 30 minutes at ACU.

YahBasic · 01/02/2019 09:55

@Curly I’m only about a mile away and if it had stopped snowing, then yes! I saw K&W in Singapore but it was slightly warmer conditions Grin

I might send DH as he was planning to go a burger bar next to there for lunch. Although I’m not actually sure if he’d be that good - we’d get a play by play of his lunch, but he’d probably not even notice anyone else!

LuciaSpain · 01/02/2019 09:56

A rare fail for Leti with that blue dress.

I'd love to have Max's natural style, she just looks brilliant.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/02/2019 10:39

@YahBasic
Oh you must issue your DH with strict instructions to take photos of the Royals (and not his lunch) and send to you so you can share with us!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/02/2019 10:40

Based on the timing of the tweets; it looks like Meghan was at ACU for maximum an hour.

itswinetime · 01/02/2019 11:50

most tweets of meghans arrival at ACU were posted at about 2.20 the footage I can find if her leaving was posted by by the palace at 3.45.

The national theatre is clearer the posted her arrival at 1.13 and departure at 2.33

So giving time for posting ect I'm guessing both visits are about an hour.

I tried to compare that to Kate for fairness but I can only find arrival shots for any of her visits no departure ones! It's either my bad searching or she leaves out the back!

Back to fashion yes I'm hoping for trousers jumper and boots something practical but stylish if your reading Meghan Wink

YahBasic · 01/02/2019 12:03

Looking like olive green suede boots (with a heel!) for Meghan today.

frugalkitty · 01/02/2019 12:04

Meg is in black with olive boots today, and has her hair down for a change! I'm trying to find a decent photo....

frugalkitty · 01/02/2019 12:06

Another £2,000 new dress Shock

YahBasic · 01/02/2019 12:08

No photos yet but a few videos from inside. Looks like an Oscar de la Renta floaty black midi dress with various animals printed on it - a mere £1400 in the sale.

itswinetime · 01/02/2019 12:09

Can only see the coat (understandable in the weather) looks like a similar style skirt to yesterday maybe. Coloured boots are a nice touch

EmGee · 01/02/2019 12:09

Glad to see she is wearing boots in that snow!!

evilharpy · 01/02/2019 12:10

I love those boots.

The coat is Oscar de la Renta. Spendy!

itswinetime · 01/02/2019 12:15

Here we go not a great shot but that's the dress for £1400 I'd go back to H&M the £25 ones suited her better I think. Might be proven wrong when better photos come out.
