Here we go again, and as always say what you like about the clothes but keep it civil re the wearers of said clothes!

I think she'll wear one of her pre-George gowns, just to show that she can still fit in them!

I liked that comparison of Kate's rewears of outfits that curly posted on page22. It's interesting to see how the same outfit and particularly the colour, can seem so different in the different photos.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 12:15

In that case; it had better be one of my all time faves.

I hated both of those dresses. She really doesn't suit ice blue.

Paradyning · 31/01/2019 12:25

But adored that pink Packham!

QueenOfTheAndals · 31/01/2019 12:38

I'd suggest 5, 23 or 25 from this link.

I think I was more enamoured of the sparkles more than anything.
Given her position, the poor woman doesn’t have access to much bling.
It’s like only the Queen (of whatever country); Elizabeth, Margarethe, Silvia, hang onto the good bling and the younger women don’t get a look in.
Camilla wears a lot of the QMs jewellery, so has a lot more than Diana did.
Kate only has access to the Cambridge lovers knot and occasionally the lotus flower.
The only young woman who has access to the best jewellery is Max who became Queen at a young age.

I think Meghan May have raised a few eyebrows by borrowing those chandelier earrings from a chinese jeweller, but she is way down the pecking order of getting a sniff round the royal jewel vault.

QueenOfTheAndals · 31/01/2019 12:57

Apparently those earrings cost £500k! Still, better to borrow those than buy them at that price.

I think a lot of what MM wear is either gifted or borrowed.

Minimammoth · 31/01/2019 13:18

There’s obviously not enough to go round Hmm

desertgirl · 31/01/2019 13:28

Max in a hat and a cracking necklace, opening an exhibition.

BigGlasses
I thought exactly the same - even the fabric can look so different in some photographs.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 14:07

Meghan has just arrived

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 14:09

Whoever said literal dressing; she does just need a mortar board.
Those heels are sooooo high.

QueenOfTheAndals · 31/01/2019 14:19

Hah that was me! Basic black from Megs today.

The coat might be Givenchy, it looks a bit like the caped dress she wore for her outing with HM last summer.

OP posts:
CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 14:25

Isn’t that the coat she wore to rememberance sunday?
The sleeve detail is definitely Givenchy.
The outfit, updo and lots of black eyeliner look like evening wear....

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 14:28

At least it’s a rewear.
I guess we haven’t seen her in black for a while.

A bit evening wear but I like it. I think if you don't wear tights in winter, a longish midi dress will work.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 14:30

Don’t like the top knot.
Looks like she stepped out of the shower. Yesterday’s updo was miles better.

Yes the hair is a bit severe, I like the messy bun look better.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 31/01/2019 14:39

queenofarles

Thank you. As long as it's better than the Vivienne Westwood exhibition from about 2005, I'll be more than happy Smile

QueenOfTheAndals · 31/01/2019 14:46

I prefer her signature messy bun or even yesterday's updo. The bun makes it look like she's about to go on stage at the ROH to dance the principal role in Swan Lake! Still, she's so pretty that she can carry off pretty much any hairstyle.

Duchess of Cornwall was in plain black at Westminster Abbey this morning, looking very elegant. Princess Alexandra in beautiful sapphire blue velvet .

LuciaSpain · 31/01/2019 14:49

I just love dresses and skirts, I hate the winter because my wardrobe changes so much, you can't wear black tights with some dresses. I don't like nude tights, any recommendations for any nice nude tights/alternatives??
