Here we go again, and as always say what you like about the clothes but keep it civil re the wearers of said clothes!

William still has that same look from the video when dealing with the press sometimes I think! Very strange looking back an 18/12 old expected to interact with that many press with no support. Explains why he is so controlled in how his kids interact with the media!

Wetdogloveshubert · 30/01/2019 20:24

Crikey, that video is hideous. What different times - I couldn't imagine them doing that any more. Got to agree with itswinetime, no wonder William is so controlled.

DeadBod · 30/01/2019 20:26

She definitely looked as if she had something on underneath her dress. Looked slightly padded and smoothed out the front?
Bare legs and the visible belly button is a big no no from me. She isn't doing very well with her pregnancy outfits.

beanaseireann · 30/01/2019 20:27

Sarah Chatto likes her cropped cardigans.Smile

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 30/01/2019 20:28

Yes it is utterly bizarre seeing how much access the press had to William.
This is George at the same age. He was shot by someone in the household. After that, it has just been Kate.

I think Meghan looked lovely today, positively radiant. I think the colour suited her and there was no way you could have hid my belly button at 6 months pregnant unless you wrapped me in a duvet. Not sure what is wrong with seeing a normal sign of pregnancy.

SenecaFalls · 30/01/2019 20:45

When I left my balmy south Georgia coastal home to go live in Scotland, my friends and family gave me a bon voyage shower (you know us Americans, any excuse for a shower). As it turned out, the best present by far was a full set of pink silk thermal underwear which I did not fully cast off until early May, if I remember correctly.

queenofarles · 30/01/2019 20:56

curly please report back , like me you visited the Louvre one , but from the pics I'm seeing it's not as good as the Louvre ?

flatpackbox · 30/01/2019 20:58

I did think that today’s outfit fitted very well. I don’t understand how someone spending such a lot of money can get it so wrong, constantly.

The dress is too tight, it is pulling at the top and too tight on the bump.

flatpackbox · 30/01/2019 20:59

Didn’t think not did.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/01/2019 21:11

I think it's meant to be tight, she likes the bodycon look. It's quite a departure from her prev

She has the access and resources to customize any piece of clothing, it should all fit her perfectly well but I think she prefers a more fitted style and these are tricky to wear during pregnancy so everything looks too tight or creased. I think she will look back at some of her choices and think WTF was I thinking ShockGrin

WhitherShallIWander · 30/01/2019 21:24

Oh my that video. Truly awful.

Paradyning · 30/01/2019 21:41

Meg's earrings.
www.ecksand.com/en/tresses-bar-stud-earrings-yellow-golds.html
I really like them. I love her edgy jewellery

hopeishere · 30/01/2019 21:50

I love her jewellery as well! It's like she needs to channel that into what she wears if you know what I mean.

I don't care if she has bare legs in protocol terms but in a cold January day it looks wrong.

CreakyBlinder · 30/01/2019 21:57

That video is actually quite tragic. What the fuck were the press thinking, why did we need to know a toddler's weight and number of teeth?

And his parents just sitting back and letting him bimble around a load of strangers. I don't think I could have done that.

Scandaloso · 30/01/2019 22:07

The main thing that strikes me about that video is the RP voice. Sounds like a newsreel from the 1940s. People don't have that particular accent anymore.

Scandaloso · 30/01/2019 22:10

I really want to like Meghan's outfits but they always just miss the mark a bit for me!

I agree. Aside from those two evening gowns, the black Givenchy and the sparkly navy one, she never gets it quite right. She had better style before she got married. It must be the pressure of trying to look suitably Duchess like.

VanillaSugarr · 30/01/2019 22:11

And the cruel dialogue as well. The commentator was derisively taking the piss out of a little boy. It explains everything.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 30/01/2019 23:38

Oi! Don't spoil it for us who will only see the London one. At this rate, I'll be going in and declaring "well this is shit" Grin

BeaLola · 31/01/2019 00:53

I saw the previous Dior exhibit at V@A many years ago and that was lovely , cannot wait to see this.

I loved today's hairstyle - more groomed looking. Bare legs - I cannot do bare legs in winter it's 40plus denier or heels so envious. Maybe she uses Nuxe on her legs ?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 05:07

Re: the Dior Exhibition
I’m not planning to go till March.
From what I can see, it has all the elements of the Paris one, which was magical. The main difference is it’s in a different building, so the rooms and therefore flow may be a bit different.

It’s not just the exhibition, but the music and lighting are stunning.
Everyone in Paris seemed to arrive at the crack of 9am, it’s better to get a ticket for later on in the morning, so that the crowds have thinned out.
Maybe that’s why they have timed tickets in London.

I don’t want to give too much away, but there is a lot of detail to take in and I was talking to some parisiennes who said they’d been several times to take it all in.

Put it this way; the diana’s Dresses Exhibition at KP is about 3% of what
You will see at Dior.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 05:51
aged just 6 months. He looks so bewildered and didn’t smile or laugh once. The more I see of him as I child, the more I feel for him as a man. His privacy was invaded at such a young age. Diana was young and naive and Charles was just hapless.

I can see why William & Kate put so much emphasis on early years education (for parents) and the fierce guarding of their children’s privacy.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 31/01/2019 05:59

Camilla in Somerset
She manages to look chic but comfortable.
Camilla has an excellent style of dressing for her age.

Most of her engagements at the moment are in the SW, so she’s probably basing herself at HighGrove / RayMill house.

Interesting how the Royals spend time in their favourite places at this time of year. HM has been at Sandringham since before Xmas, but we get the regular church photos, so we know she hasn’t disappeared.

Charles has been up in Scotland. Camilla split January between her husband in Scotland and presumably her children and grandchildren in the West Country...
