New thread. My nerve was cracking!

Cherries love the colour as pp very on trend that ashey colour, my dd has the same at the moment crikey that’s not even anywear near enough sleep to feel rested,maybe some natural remedies might help possibly.

I don’t do the sleep thing, either. I am not sure you should pay too much attention to the sleep analysis of these sports band thingies anyway. I have read that they are not that accurate. I know I always wake up knackered, but when I read that according to my wrist I’ve had even less sleep than I thought, I feel far, far worse! Dodging the sun has paid off for you, @Cherries!

Arrggh, the lure of the Jigsaw final sale has drawn me in again! Just ordered a velvet mini skirt in aubergine and the Junko stripe cashmere polo in ivory

Wow cherries - as justilou and len say, your eyes look fabulous with that colour! And your skin... . But nightmare about the sleep. DH takes those hop/ valerian based tablets sometimes which he says do work when he wakes up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep (but then feels pants in the morning - so prob best to just take them at bedtime so they are out of your system in the morning).

But I'd second those body monitors don't always get it right...I had a fitbit when I was BFing DS and he was awake every couple of hours for what seemed like years and it consistently told me that I had had 7-8 hours deep sleep and must be well rested. Felt like showing it exactly how well rested I was... I'd even been up and down walking into the other room!! Mind you, it also seemed to think I was asleep when I was watching TV on the sofa .

Laska you look so much like my Mums side of the family it's spooky... you are almost the twin of my Mums sister, I wish you could see a photo of her as it's uncanny! My Mums Dad (my Grandad) was originally from the Brighton/Hove area and could trace his family back to the Anglo Saxons (allegedly- that's just what he told us) - maybe we are related way down the line....honestly every time you post a pic of yourself I see my Aunt and my mum looking back!
The IOW looks beautiful today. I've been in the beach with the dog this morning and it was so cold the sea had frozen in places.. never seen that before.

Just on way home from sample sale. Confused because it was advertised as starting today but I’ve seen posts from others saying they went yesterday
Anyway, it was rather busy (one in, one out). Verrrrry long queue to pay too!
I filled a bag then spent my queuing time editing my haul
I stuck to items I already have so I know they’ll fit. I spent £100. Mainly long vest tops, v neck tees and longer sleeved tops (all £5 each), some cropped harems, ivy dress, baby doll dress (£15), plus a merino scarf (£5) and a embroidered top (£10).
Very happy with it all..... not for the faint hearted though, it’s a crazy jumble sale. Vaguely organised by size but people just throwing things they don’t want anywhere so.....
Barely any accessories, and shoes minimal unless small sizes or saw quite a few 7s.
I live about 90 mins away, so just about worth the journey....just!

I've tried on the Hush Jada tunic in brown sugar. Shapeless and baggy and hung off me, going straight back. Disappointing. I love knitted dresses/jumper dresses but a lot of them don't have any shape to them.

Sounds a good haul @AmethystMoon but quite exhausting! I really hate travelling into central London, I just find it so stressful. I think you've earned your well deserved cuppa
Today I've put my Ryder jumper with my new Levi's - I wouldn't have thought to put boyfriend jeans with big boots, got the inspiration from Pinterest and am quite pleased with how it looks together.
I've been enjoying getting back to Pinterest for outfit ideas. Instagram has just become one big advertising assault rather than decent style inspiration lately.

@twosoups1972 have you tried it with your leather/faux leather leggings?

I haven't @ella but I think it would make me look even more top heavy than I already am. I've got very slim legs and thighs but then a tummy and boobs and wide shoulders.

I am not sure lol...I do love them, not sure I can afford to keep the shoes, jumper and jacket. I need to decide tonight. If I have time, will try and post a dressed down shot.

Phew.....hopefully that helps anyone that might be trying to decide if the trip is worth it? There were all sizes as far as I could see and they kept bringing out box after box of stock to replenish. It was very hard not to leave the queue to go and look in the new boxes! But it was a very long queue!

Afternoon! Glad to tell you the workshop I led today went very well so all the hard work was not wasted.
I’m now at Gare Du Nord, will be departing for London in 30 mins and I caught up while having a coffee. I feel I deserve to keep that laptop firmly shut till tomorrow and I won’t be home till 10pm tonight as I have another journey home from London.

Love hearing about the bargains! I did contemplate going to London for the last day on Saturday but I’ll end up spending £35 with train/tube tickets and I’m not sure I’m up to the stress after what’s already been quite a hectic week. Shame. And we’re planning on a night out friends (music gig at a pub in nearby village) on Saturday night so I want to be rested for that

@soups shame about the knitted tunic I know just what you mean. We are very similar shape and anything that hangs off too much off boobs makes me looks enormous and totally out of proportion with my lower half...sooo annoying!

Well the red shoes, jeans, jumper were all sale price. Going to a wardrobe clear out and that will make me feel better. I think I will be joining melen in no spend over the next few months. Really need to reign it in tbh. That is totally it for me. You heard me saying it.
@Laska, totally forgot to say - Love the hair and the jumper. I was wearing my blue toast one today with my jeans. Its super cosy. @cherries, totally agree with soyo - you look fabulous in grey :)

The jeans I have on are the side stripe ones from hush. Think they are bailey ones.
