trader21c · 30/01/2019 21:21

Actually it was brick marl and I also saw the grey one too

neveradullmoment99 · 30/01/2019 21:26

The brick marl one was awful on me. Its not surprising it hasn't sold out on the website.
Yes, I have most colours.

neveradullmoment99 · 30/01/2019 21:27

I have bought one a year lol!

SoyYo · 30/01/2019 23:14

Bloody hell its midnight in my hotel and I only finished work half hour ago (don’t ask it all went tits up this afternoon when I got to Paris office)
DH tells me a huge parcel with Moshulu on it has arrived so that’ll be my reward when I return home for all this madness...

www.hopefashion.co.uk/uk/shop/shop-by-category/sale/sale-knitwear/the-cocoon-shrug-charcoal

Thank you justi for your nice wishes
And glad to read you’re feeling brighter today never I want to see a link to your new coat

Well johnnienofriendsandallwork must get some zzz so good night

I think the sample sale sounds totally fabulous! Keep reporting back so we live precariously through your bargainous purchases Wink

justilou1 · 31/01/2019 07:04

@laska - I wasn’t implying that Hush owes you a product like because of the number of purchases you’ve made - Although it’s not a bad idea..... I just think Laska is a beautiful name for anything! (I have a thing for Arctic Dog Breeds, and think it would be a superb name for one of those.... please take it as the highest compliment if I ever buy myself a Samoyed and call it Laska!!!)

Hello lovely Hush people.

I've missed so much, this thread moves so fast! Sorry I've not been around for a while, had some issues with my elderly mother that has been taking my time. Plus trying to make some decisions with dd regarding her health and possibly returning to school.

@ella glad it went well, I am a total wuss when it comes to anything hospital related, not sure how I would have coped. And LOVE the Ryder jumper on you, looks great.

@melen kitchen chairs look great! This is such a lovely thread, it's so nice we can share things not fashion related!

@never hope you are feeling better today Flowers

twosoups1972 · 31/01/2019 08:37

Anyone else had any success at the sample sale? I considered going as I'm in London but not sure I'll bother now.

I have Jigsaw and Hush things still to try on. With everything that has been going on, I haven't had a chance to try yet. My bedroom looks like a depot with boxes and packets everywhere!

Laska2Meryls · 31/01/2019 08:59

I think they do justlou!!
How is everyone do you have snow there ? I think we will miss it but it's a lovely frosty day here .I'm on boat and about to drive through the New Forest. I'm sure it will be looking beautiful and sparkly in the frost ( the NF ponies are tough though,no need to worry about them)

Ok so now confessions!!
Toastblue jacquard jumper is divine, quite large on me if they had had any I would have sized down but they don't .but it's so gorgeous.im wearing it now ,so that's a keeper . And ( because I am a total 🐑 I did end up ordering the Ryder jumper ( it seemed rude not to at that price) and it's great!! and of course I don't have many jumpers,do I?

Soy Hope website looks good, I'd not heard of them. I have ordered a few thingsto get free postage (inc cocoon) but what I really only want to keep is the longline basic navy T ..

Laska2Meryls · 31/01/2019 09:10

Good luck all going to Hush sample sale !! twosoups sounds exciting don't forget to post photos. Here I am on boat in New snuggly jumper. I live over there!

Oh and just Lou my Czech friend told me that Laska means 'cute girl' in Czech. I didn't know that when I chose it as a internet name many years ago ,but I like that!!

dontcallmelen · 31/01/2019 09:48

My frosty garden, very sunny here but freezing apparently snow expected later.

Soy hope today goes better.
Laska so glad the leather leggings are a keeper & the toast jumper really suits you looks fab, enjoy your day.
Soups sorry to hear about your dm, hope things improve💐
I’m not going to the sale, I have managed a month no spend apart from a couple of cardigans for dgd I reckon another month or so & finances will be much healthier 🤞🏻

dontcallmelen · 31/01/2019 09:55

Never hoping you are feeling better.

dontcallmelen · 31/01/2019 10:11

Cherries I hope you managed a better nights sleep, somhorrible when get insomnia/anxiety induced dreams but the running miles you have clocked up is so impressive.

twosoups1972 · 31/01/2019 11:00

laska whereabouts on the IOW do you live? We went for a holiday when the dds were small. We stayed in Ventor, it was lovely. We went to Ryde and saw the Waltzing Waters which I know people say is tacky but we loved it!

NotAnActualSheep · 31/01/2019 11:03

Hello all - I'm glad people seem to be feeling a bit better today - especially never! Really looking forward to seeing the checked coat -I think both the coat and the frayed jacket look lovely on the website (which did you get?) I think I'd probably get more use out of the coat, but the jacket would be really good for work (for people who do actual work, and not me who is sitting in front of the computer in joggers and failing miserably to get stuck into a report on a subject right on the edge of my ignorance... gaaaahhhh. Frankly, I'm just waiting for the postman to arrive...)

soy - Sorry you had a nightmare yesterday, especially with such an early start. Never what you want. I hope today is a bit better... and at least you have your parcel to look forward to when you get home. Fingers crossed for DS - as long as he is coming to you for the weekend you will be able to give support and food.

gin - you're right..the star jumper is lovely, but I'm sitting on it at the moment (not literally) as I'm just not sure I really need any more jumpers. I also got the blue sparkly striped one to try, which is smarter, and also really nice - though the star one is much more snuggly cosy, and I can see me wearing it at home as a comfort-jumper more than out... I'm also waiting for a toast one (not laska's - which does look brilliant...the colours and pattern really suit you!) and given my excessive jumper-age anyway, I'm not keeping them all.

cherries - sorry your sleep has been so bad. I'm not surprised you're rather anxious, but your running total is amazing! No wonder you're shrinking out of your leggings... (though hopefully, as you say, its just the leather loosening with movement, like jeans do with wear).

soups Flowers It sounds like you've been having a hard time. But glad you are at least able to consider DD's return to school. That sounds like a promising step.

lol @ the laska leggings - I think there should be a hush mumsnet range made just for us! I'm so jealous of trader's bargain haul (I thought the sale started today...I must be going batty). But pah to the london-centric nature of the sale. It's the liberal metropolitan elite getting all the good deals... that's why brexit is happening y'know...

I love all the clear, frosty pictures. I'm doing my best not to leave the house til I need to pick up DS later, and hoping most of the ice will have gone by then. And downing coffee.

ilovecherries · 31/01/2019 11:25

Hmm, what do you think? I usually wear blonde or light ash brown hair but I’m guessing in the normal order of things I might be grey by now (although my eyebrows aren’t), and I had a notion to see what I might look like.

@laska - Definitely going to be naming my future Samoyed Laska if it’s a girl now! How perfect is that? (Just have to wait until my current hairy beast gets over her fear of everything, and I finish my course!)
Your blue jumper is gorgeous, and I think it looks very cheery on the chilly seas. I am very jealous as am still trying to work up the energy to perspire effectively. It’s too hot to sleep properly here. Everyone’s cranky and the school year has just begun. At least tomorrow’s Friday!

justilou1 · 31/01/2019 11:30

Wow @Cherries! I love it!!! You have such blue eyes!!! Do you think this brings out the colour??? It’s very on-trend for 20 year olds to dye their hair this colour anyway!!! Your skin is amazing, too. I think you could get away with just about any colour!!!

twosoups1972 · 31/01/2019 11:32

@cherries you look amazing! Echo what just said about your eyes, they are lovely. You look very young Smile

ilovecherries · 31/01/2019 11:37

You are very kind. I feel ancient (and constantly tearful). I’m exhausted. My garmin says I had three hours of light sleep last night, no deep sleep, and long episodes of wakefullness. TBH, I feel three hours of light sleep is probably optimistic.

ilovecherries · 31/01/2019 11:39

The skin is genetic luck (both my parents have amazing skin) and a mother who was sunburn phobic throughout my childhood and turned me into a sun dodger as an adult.

twosoups1972 · 31/01/2019 11:40

So sorry to hear that cherries I can't even think about what it must be like to get so little sleep Flowers Are you taking anything to help (apologies if I've missed that)...?
