The hush blue bailey jeans are great. They are very flattering although I did need to size up to a 14 in them. I had them originally in a 12 and found them a bit too tight on the waist for me so I sold them on. My fat mum tum :(

neveradullmoment99 · 27/01/2019 20:12

Cant fast tomorrow either as I am not well. Bugger. Sadly this flu bug hasn't really stopped me eating strangely.

Laska2Meryls · 27/01/2019 20:25

I have worn my red paisley Toast jumper loads Never.. its such good quality. Sorry to hear you are still poorly , but yes get well before attempting fasting..

,. I am trying to go back to Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday fast days which used to be my routine and LC other days .But today has only been a partial success.. I will try and add in a 16:8 tomorrow now ..

Ellapaella · 27/01/2019 20:34

Hope you feel better soon Never - maybe a duvet day is needed to get you back on track 🤧

neveradullmoment99 · 27/01/2019 21:20

I'm not as bad as I was yesterday, still a heavy cold and aches and pains and a throbbing headache and not fit enough to go to work. So will probably go in on Tuesday. I don't really like taking days off but couldn't face it tomorrow. Thanks for your get well wishes.

SoyYo · 27/01/2019 21:45

I’ve caught up!
@never hope you’re on the mend soon, I’m expecting the Ryley jumper and red shoes tomorrow so I let you know what I think if you’re still hesitating whether to keep or return
@cod I have the Paloma jumper, in blue. It’s thin weight but lovely style and so far hasn’t wobbled (but I haven’t washed yet)
@ella the cream jumper does look really great on you, the sleeve detail is fab
@laska wise to return the ochre jumper. Now you’ve said the Moshulu boots are wide I want them!Envy
@Gin Flowers
@Huff and @Not good to read you
@soups I do hope you get those tests for DD sorted fast
@melen you sound brighter after your nasty flu and Ibiza to look forward to as well! Yeay

On the PR shots yes the shorts are nice and I quite liked the palm print dress...the rest I agree it’s a bit samey...

@cherries the Ryder jumper is lovely on you

I’m wearing my zebra joggers for the first time today and I love them! So cozy

twosoups1972 · 27/01/2019 22:46

Wish you better soon never Flowers

dontcallmelen · 28/01/2019 12:36

Soy thanks, hope you & Ds are ok.
Never sending get well wishes, it’s a bloody horrible bug💐

neveradullmoment99 · 28/01/2019 12:56

Ihanks soups and melen [ sounds a bit of a recipe lol]
Felt better this morning, feeling awful right now and have had to dose up on the lemsip. Really hate having to phone in sick. They always make you feel you are trying it on. I really hate that. Anway, anyone got any nice purchases arrive today?
Im going to be sending some stuff back. Can't do it until I am feeling better but I may send my dh up with it if I can find some Sellotape!

ilovecherries · 28/01/2019 13:06

Urgh, hope you fe l better soon, never. I use£to hate the way work made you feel as well. I’m exhausted today, spent the night having anxiety dreams.

No parcels today, in fact very few all month.

OP posts:
dontcallmelen · 28/01/2019 13:28

never lol at recipe, horrible when work make you feel as though you are swinging the lead, no need for it.
Cherries that’s horrible as well, hard to shake off the next day.
No parcels for me in the foreseeable, still trying to be good & tbh nothing I actually need, I’m working my through some of the jumpers I found in the drawers that I bought last winter, today I have a phase eight one on which is really soft & cosy, it’s a pale grey n pink stripe goes nicely with my grey jeans & fugly Clark’s boots.

ilovecherries · 28/01/2019 14:11

I’m wearing my leather leggings again though! Trying to get as much wear as possible from them, while it’s cold enough to wear heatgen leggings underneath. Had a crappy run today though. I did 10k yesterday and hoped to manage 5k today but only managed 4 before I had to give up, so tired. Trying to get my cardio in best possible nick before my surgery.

Afternoon All, I’ve a crazy week ahead with Paris trip and work deadlines (and now I’m worried about the snow forecast as I’m off at 5am Wed morning in the middle of it all).

@melen Thank You DS is up and down in Brighton so he may come back for a few days at the weekend. It continues to be a worry but he’s received a letter from Brighton MH services so I hope he’ll get his first counselling session soon.

@never poor you! I do hope you get rid of the virus fast and tbh resting is the only way to speed that up so ignore people at work and just rest up with some Lemsip. On the Hush parcel I’m returning both red shoes AND Ryder jumper. The former are really lovely but as I feared too tight on my wide feet and the latter is sooo itchy, I’m not sold even at £35 that I’ll want to wear often enough. Even with a long sleeve top I couldn’t wait to get it off. I think cashmere has spoilt me.

I also ordered some things from the Hope sale which I’m returning the lot. Just mulling one cashmere wrap type grey jumper which was bargainous at £45 but it’s really more of a poncho than a long cardigan so I’m not sure how much wear it would actually get...
It’s this:
www.hopefashion.co.uk/uk/shop/shop-by-category/sale/sale-knitwear/the-cocoon-shrug-charcoal
I think I’m returning even though it’s lovely and soft and light because I’m too short to carry it off...

SoyYo · 28/01/2019 14:43

It’s my birthday next weekend and I wanted a treat. I will blame Laska for this order if I end up keeping as she posted the Moshulu boots and I’ve had their shoes in the past and I know they fitted my wife kipper feet.
There was 70% off yesterday on these heels (consolation for not keeping the red Hush heels which I suspected already would be too tight):
www.moshulu.co.uk/graphite-embroidered-nubuck-heeled-shoes.html
They’re bargainous and I like the embroidery

AND these boots
www.moshulu.co.uk/pigment-glitter-leather-worker-boots.html
I think I grabbed the last size 5 pair in purple leather yesterday

We shall see if they fit...

SoyYo · 28/01/2019 14:47

@cherries well done on your running AND leather leggings wearing.
You are Awesome even if you don’t realise it 💪

neveradullmoment99 · 28/01/2019 14:53

@soyo. I have decided to return both the ryder jumper and the red shoes. I love the red shoes and I am sure they will stretch to accommodate but I really don't think I would wear them that much. The ryder jumper has a bit a defect at the back. It isn't much but I feel with wear it will be a hole. I feel I have spent far too much so am pleased I have come to this decision. I think I need a bit of a Halo
As for tomorrow, not sure what to do. Thought I felt ok this morning and said that I hoped to be back in [ note chirpier tone] then this afternoon I honestly felt like rubbish and my head was pounding. I had to take a lemsip and a bath to relax me. I feel really bad now to say that I wont be in.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/01/2019 14:55

Should I just brave it out on lemsip?

SoyYo · 28/01/2019 15:04

@never I think you need to be honest and just say you’re feeling too poorly for work. If you’re not well all you’ll end up doing is spreading your viruses to everyone at school and delaying your recovery.
A heavy flu/cold virus can only be helped with rest, staying warm and yes Lemsip.
I do understand how difficult it is with school responsibilities though...Sad it’s not like me if I’m not there I don’t have a class of little ones my colleagues have to cover for but on the other hand you will end up making yourself take longer to recover if you soldier on with a temperature and heavy cold Flowers
Wise to restore a bit of polish to our tarnished 😇 I love the red shoes and actually I’d wear them for work a lot but they’re sooo tight I know I couldn’t tolerate them and if you know you won’t wear much then yes it’s a waste of £.
The Ryder is just not doing it for me, I don’t even think it flatters me (again possibly too short and fat to carry off the length and stripes) but the deal breaker for me was the itchiness I just know it would not get worn at all.

Hope you can just rest up

SoyYo · 28/01/2019 15:18

Mmm no comments on my Moshulu purchases...don’t tell me I’m too old for glitter! Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 28/01/2019 15:47

Noone is EVER too old for glitter @soyo! Love the boots. Shoes are lovely too :)

dontcallmelen · 28/01/2019 15:48

Soy well I like them, never to old for glitter.
Never I would see how you are, yy with not going & spreading it about I felt really awful for at least five days, it really knocked the stuffing out of me.
Ooh well done on sending back stuff you are not 100% on definitely polish that 😇
Cherries that’s 4K more than me, I’m in awe especially as you are tired today.

dontcallmelen · 28/01/2019 15:51

Soy fingers crossed he has his appointment soon, love love the hope cardi tis a steal & I reckon will be very cosy & useful ‘throw on’.

dontcallmelen · 28/01/2019 15:52

Ooh & fingers crossed weather doesn’t get to bad, forecast not great for the next few days at the moment.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/01/2019 16:24

@Melen between how I feel right now and the weather being snowy and cold and having to go out in that feeling the way i do, I honestly cannot face it. I have got in touch with them and said I wont be in but it was a rather curt reply Sad Why cant people be nice?

SoyYo · 28/01/2019 16:49

Ooh thank you never and melen for your thumbs up on the sparkle front Smile

never Agree on people being unsympathetic but it’s your health and you did the right thing...it’s ridiculous people can’t help being ill.
Wrap up and rest as much as you can Brew

@melen fingers crossed for my DS too but as I said before if they keep him waiting too long it’ll be the private route. He should hear on the first appointment this week.

Bloody hell ive got to book two more trips with work to Paris in March. Boss just confirmed the last one on the 27th and staying after till the 29th which is Brexshite day...I can just see the chaos with that little trip Angry
