@Soyo - I got the medium in the jumper and fine it a good nice loose fit.

neveradullmoment99 · 24/01/2019 19:17

A 38 is a 5. They are beautiful shoes.

Ellapaella · 24/01/2019 19:19

Thanks @Laska2Meryls - I like the Ryder so have decided to order and try before the sale ends. There was a similar stripey one last winter which I saw in JL and loved but tried on and found too itchy, maybe this'll be a bit better.

Thanks all for the votes for cream jumper. I'll wait for my Hush order and then decide which ones to keep.

Ellapaella · 24/01/2019 19:20

@neveradullmoment99 I've ordered the small Ryder - so you think it'll be too small? Wish I'd gone for a medium now as I think we're the same size 😫

Ellapaella · 24/01/2019 19:21

@FuzzyPuffling my husband and boys all surf and have those towel robe things.. they love them, perfect for coming out of the sea and getting changed without worrying about your towel falling down. Do you surf?

Laska2Meryls · 24/01/2019 19:22

I love jumpers but I have far to many and I have already ordered 2 today, havent I? .. Am sitting on my hands .. Halo (somewhat rusty)

neveradullmoment99 · 24/01/2019 19:32

@ella - the ryder jumper. It has a bit of itchiness with it but with something under it, it's fine.

neveradullmoment99 · 24/01/2019 19:33

Well the small may be ok. I just like a bit of room. I ordered the cashmere bf jumper in the medium which I love.

neveradullmoment99 · 24/01/2019 19:33

Its the same shape as that.

SoyYo · 24/01/2019 19:36

Ellapaella · 24/01/2019 19:58

We haven't all ordered the same thing since maybe the floral cropped pants last summer? And the Santana skirt of course. Although I think you all have the leather leggings now except me. Am very jealous of those btw.

Laska2Meryls · 24/01/2019 19:59

Ella glad the appointment was ok hopefully not to long a wait for the further tests love love the cream jumper.
I can join in the pity party of no leather leggings, none here either 😢
Soy yeahy some else at last that doesn’t think I’m weird cream/milk hating person.
All the jumpers shoes/boots etc etc & towelling robes are super fabulous, I’m boring myself now with this no spend nonsense but on the upside my cc balance as of today is 24p in credit.
Cherries glad the optician appointment was such good news.
Fuzzy oh well least you saw the doctor, better than a completely wasted trip.
Still trying to catch up, today was the first day I managed to stay up all day & get in the shower myself, so am on the mend a bit now but have pulled a stomach muscle with all the coughing, which ain’t helping😂

Laska2Meryls · 24/01/2019 20:20

yay Len well done on keeping to no spend and the 24p. A credit is a credit! I used to have credit card debt (about 6/7 years ago when going through a tough period of family circumstance where i just buried my head n he sand and spent ) and once i got down to it and did 'no spend' it still took a quite few months to pay off.. It did feel good though once i had and i swore I would never get into debt if I could help it again. .. Now I always pay CC fully each month..and during the month I make sure pay for what I buy there and then once I have decided to keep it (and although I am 'naughty' ordering stuff I do send back a lot more than I keep btw!) .

How are you Len? and your DD and DGD ?

SoyYo · 24/01/2019 20:23

Hi melen glad to hear you’re feeling better today (as is your cc balance by the sound of it Smile)

laska i see what you mean now 🤔 so many jumpers so little time to wear them all! theatrical Head back with hand on forehead Grin
Seriously you’re right and unlike me with my rock/gothic leanings towards black your jumper collection is bright (I mainly own black, navy blue, grey oh a bit more black! With the exception of some Boden cashmere cardies) i want a happy jumper! Grin (brexshite and the weather are rather gloomy atm)

@ella you will eventually succumb to the leather leggings and they would look marvellous on you but before you fully commit ask us again in 3 months time how much we’ve actually worn them...

dontcallmelen · 24/01/2019 20:27

Thanks Laska I have always been a real spend thrift, which was ok when I was earning a very good salary, but really not good when I have such a reduced income now, I really need to keep to a budget & not just spend spend (Dh calls me spend spend Viv after that pools winner from years ago) this has been a good lesson, I’m feeling a lot better than I was & dd thankfully hasn’t caught it & dgd has been FaceTiming me everyday telling me she misses me & sad without me😍

Laska2Meryls · 24/01/2019 20:28

Ellai bought those floral pants and havent actually worn them Blush. I also bought a fab pair of bright pink Boden slingbacks to wear with them, but the problem was that first it was so hot , I didn't want to wear trousers at all, and then i broke my toe a few weeks later and couldn't get the slingbacks on or any other shoes that would look god with he trousers.. maybe this year I will wear them, I do love then still.

Right now I am wearing black/dark red striped amies and a Hush burgundy jumper (a bit like the Celt one above) from years ago ( and which is somewhat tatty now ) but am just about to go a change into the red flower PJs I got in the sale ( I just love them!)
