If anyone is still looking for black faux leather leggings, I would highly recomnend these ASOS one. I tried the £26 next ones on this morning & these are far superior. They are high waist & have a side zip. Pics added so you can see the finish.

@Offredismysister are they Matt ? The mint velvet ones are very shiny and wet look .

@melen here is some and a cuppa you are brave painting the hall all by yourself! I tend to insist DH helps with decorating so take care on the stairs as you are only a short arse like me

@never good decision on going for a smaller size on the leather skirt. Just the incentive needed to drop a few pounds! Enjoy the baby cuddles with DGS even if it’s hectic with the house full

Forgot to tell you all my Gudrun Sjoden cardy, skirt and gloves arrived. They are all beautiful and so pleased I grabbed them in the sale. When I compare the fabric quality to Hush I see why Gudrun is even more ££ but so worth it when you bag the right thing and at sale price totally worth every penny. Inner bohemian chick is happy too

@just Subtropical heat my idea of heaven. Much rather sweat than shiver. Having said that I agree that my skin being shrouded in the British greyness and gloom since my late teens is a lot less lined than my contemporaries at home exposed to lovely sunshine all year round. I guess there has to be some benefit. Your new bed linen sounds fab.

Right I’ve Had a look at the “new in” and agree not a huge amount to get excited about.

Day fifteen here of no spend crikey it’s boring, that’s why I’m painting stop me looking at websites, Just bedding sounds really gorgeous I like the heat but humidity not so much.

Never I reckon the skirt will be fine, once eating habits back to normal yy enjoy the cuddles from dgs.

Soy the only thing I am not sure about on the Alford boots is the top zip.. is it slightly reminiscent of the style of proper old lady boots perhaps ? obviously studs make them cool

@hendricksy yes they are matte. They look less plastic than others I’ve tried. They are similar to the Spanx ones, which I sent back. I thought if I’m buying faux leather, I’m not spending ££’s.

Laska ikwym I was the same with my fugly boots, because of the furry lining the studs though make a difference I think.

@laska not at all. I’m sorry to say I think they’re fab! They were my favourite when @never tried the two styles.
Resign yourself to keeping if they’re comfy

Those Peter Pan boots are vile ( I don't know Antonio Banderas .. will I regret looking him up ? ( Imagining Permed and perma- tan?) A bit like Andre Rey ( who I also didn't know until DF wanted some of his music for funeral
