Goodness - you have all been chatty! I'm loving all the photos and links.
I know things have moved on now, but cherries - yy to everyone who said you look amazing in the leather leggings! Definitely styled as you would, I think they are timeless and ageless - and you do need to show off your fantastic legs!! But
at all of you needing to size down to 10s....only in my dreams would I ever be a 10 again... Did you keep your pink JL coat? I think that would go really nicely.
But
about the ripped ones (and also the mis-sized dress). That is really poor. I have to say, hush are always very good when I phone them up (never tried emailing) - though there is sometimes some buck-passing (I ordered a few things a while ago and one item wasn't in the package though was on the packing note - fair enough, mistakes get made - but it took 3 calls to CS to get them to believe it hadn't been sent separately and wouldn't magically turn up a few days later). Boden is amazing, though yy. I had ordered some things in the pre-christmas sale, for them to be reduced further the following day. I was all prepared to send them back and re-order - but checked first, and they just credited my account with the difference (OK - not an actual refund, but given I was about to place another order, it actually didn't matter to me that much).
I'm v impressed with you and your return receipt photos!...How do people keep a track of these things (what has been returned/ refunded etc)? I've just had them in my head til now, and haven't had anything go missing as far as i'm aware - but i probably do need to get a bit more organised. I'm so organised at these things well, more or less for work, but so scatty with my home life!
I also love the leather skirt never (though I think that has gone back now??
) - and the pointy boots. Though if they are uncomfy, I would say you need to think v hard about keeping them. They will probably mould to your foot with wear..but obviously, some boots never seem to IME. Also len's fuzzy boots - they look soooo warm and cozy.
And yy to fuzzycustard Poetry obsession! I got their summer brochure through the other day, and I honestly would wear pretty much all of it!! I know in reality there is so much linen and me and my iron are not best of friends, so I would look a crumpled mess immediately. But it is sooo cool looking and wafty. Liking the look of their linen jeans, especially.
huff - I'm definitely keeping the toast jumper but I'm waiting for the one i reordered cheaper to come through - along with "your" skirt! (also ordered at the cheaper price!). Ordered it with some horrifically expensive green cord trousers to get free postage. But the trousers aren't staying... Unfortunately - I popped into JL yesterday to get something for DS, and have discovered they now have a toast concession... so i may have come out with this lovely stripey top which bizarrely still seems to be £40 on the toast website and some gorgeous thick "proper" denim "mom"-my jeans for £37 (which I can't see on the website). I really wish i hadn't noticed this new addition... And your tweed coat looks gorgeous too...
Hope your leggings are a success laska (soon to be renamed laska3burgundyleatherleggings?)
And i hope your Paris trip isn't as painful as you were fearing soy!
