Not that I'm easily influenced at all but I had a go at yoga this morning with Adriene's Yoga for Dummies Beginners. I felt like a block of wood, all creaky and inflexible. However, it did soothe the anxiety that has been a bit rampant lately so perhaps I will give it another go tomorrow.

Sotd is a sample of Ralph Lauren Woman. RL scents seem to suit my skin well and this is no exception, which is nice after yesterday's POAL disappointment!

Count hope you have a better day today! Surely you've had all your bad luck now!

Judy hope all goes well with your cat today

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 06/02/2019 11:09

Lolol at 'going home with the lead singer'...aaaah those were the days Wink

I like TMTTR, but I don't love it. I mainly bought it on the strength of the title [easily led]

I think I'm going to take plunge with Tyger Tyger. I've a bit of a thing about arts&crafts and those Victorian celebs; Blake, Morris, Burne Jones etc so I'm going to wear it and perhaps swoon artistically in a corner somewhere Grin

See how I managed to justify myself? It's quite the talent, isn't it?

FloofyCat · 06/02/2019 11:36

Sorry late to the party as RL has been fucking awful very hard work! Kalifornia hurrah! Well done in tracking it down. Still, you can't leave here now!

I'm resisting the temptation to look at the Avon sale, I have already done A Bad Thing on the Yves Rocher website your fault Battleaxe Wink

You can definitely leave me out of the yoga circle on the Venn diagram GrinBad behaviour in Manchester though - definitely count me in! Used to love Afflecks, Dry Bar, The Hac, 5th Avenue, The Ritz... Funnily enough DD is now a student in Manchester and keeps trying to get me to go to Afflecks with her for piercings Grinapparently I would still fit right in with a purple Mohican :)

Thinking of catface Judy - and you, who will reap her wrath!

SOTD last few precious drops of Sleep Knot, I'm still really bitter about missing out on the sale bottle

Destiel · 06/02/2019 13:21

Sotd Avon timeless.

Destiel · 06/02/2019 16:56

Sote pp by the fireplace

MissBattleaxe · 06/02/2019 17:38

FloofyCat Bwah haah! (That's my villain's laugh when I enable and tempt) What did you get? I'm going to get So Elixir Bois Sensual.

Maud you sound right up my street!

SOTD Lush Orange Blossom. It's the best Orange Blossom I've ever tried. Green, soapy, waxy, flowery, honey-ish. Fab.

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 06/02/2019 18:03

Floofy Flowers - hope real life gets less fucking awful asap.

MissB Grin I have done and bought the Tyger. I will perform the Public Service as requested and review as soon as it arrives. I like the way Sarah manages jasmine - it's not a favourite note for me usually but she seems to handle it in a way that stops it being too cloying and dense. I've been wearing Pillow Talk today and I really do love it.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 06/02/2019 19:04

SOTD FM POAL.

So, Cat-face is home. She ended up needing six teeth out, and it cost £550 - double the estimated price. FML. We will be eating dust for the rest of the month.

floofy sending flowers and gin. 💋

auberginesrus · 06/02/2019 20:07

Ouch for you and Cat-face Judy Sad

SOTD Nomade, and also sneaking into the Afflecks palace/Manchester bit of the Venn diagram, although I was 27 when we moved here so a bit long in the tooth! My teenage ds loves it now Grin

MrsLucas · 06/02/2019 20:16

Evening All.

Floof - wasn't me honest. Hope things get better for you and for Count (I can join you in the broken washing machine set...).

And speaking of the diagram, I defo belong in with teen parents, and also scrape into Afflecks Palace too (out of town visitor rather than local). I know Pest said they got messy to draw after a certain point, but I wonder if we could tempt her to update?

If so, Judy - we need to know the name of your cat as she probably deserves her own mention in the intersection between cats and bad teeth. Grin. Seriously, hope she's alright and that you have insurance?

Destiel · 06/02/2019 20:24

My oven is fixed now so I cant join you in the "broken white goods" venn diagram :)

Mmm are releasing 2 new replicas.

I want them both desperately.

Life is unfair :(

PestyMachtubernahme · 06/02/2019 20:32

You can have four bubbles in the Venn diagram or I'll cry.

SotD PW Girl, which is rather wet concrete and bubble gum today Confused

Rather smug here as first of DC, DSC and DFC is now 30 Shock

White goods intact, roof suspect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 06/02/2019 20:36

mrsL we have insurance, but it doesn’t cover dental!

MrsLucas · 06/02/2019 21:03

Oh no!

MrsLucas · 06/02/2019 21:05

Hi Pest! Have you still got the original?

MrsLucas · 06/02/2019 21:08

Bargain lovers - 8 dupes in Lidl today. (Plus 4 masculines). I think their Angel and DKNY homages are pretty good.

PestyMachtubernahme · 06/02/2019 21:16

Found it, I think

Innocent Dave is not here, it's just the friendly perfumistas thread no 19!
PestyMachtubernahme · 06/02/2019 21:17

May go via Lidl tomorrow as need olive oil, honest gov

Destiel · 06/02/2019 21:20

God, love that diagram!

I am amongst my people 😁

MrsLucas · 06/02/2019 21:35

Thank you Pest. What a tonic Grin.Grin.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 06/02/2019 21:36

Oh, the venn diagram! Tbh I didn’t even phone the insurance - it was the vet who said it wouldn’t be covered. Between her teeth and mine, I am bankrupt. No perfume here for a while, although I like the sound of that MMM library one. I see it comes as 10ml...

Destiel · 06/02/2019 21:41

I know judy!

(Weeps)

PestyMachtubernahme · 06/02/2019 21:50

Judy teeth are only covered if it is a trauma injury. (Animal teeth, have no idea about yours).

Lotsofpots · 06/02/2019 21:52

(whispers) I've never even been to Manchester... I feel genuinely ashamed of myself admitting that. My heart is in London, and has had brief flings with the north east, and is rather smitten with Folkestone (this is SO outing for anyone who knows me).

SOTD was LE no15 for a trip to buy decent underwear, in the vain hope that I might be neither pregnant or breastfeeding at some point soon.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 06/02/2019 22:01

That’s what the vet said, pest. My own teeth are “structurally sound”, it’s my facial nerves that are shot and mis-firing all over the place. It took a LOT of appointments, and possibly some unnecessary dental work, to reach that diagnosis!

I havn’t been to Manchester often, but we have tickets to see The National there live in the summer, plus Suede and Teenage Fanclub in Glasgow. V excited.
