Light hearted and nosy.

I imagine most people will just be wearing pajamas Xmas Grin

I'm going to wear a tescos Christmas jumper with denim midi skirt (not as awful as it sounds), black tights and slipper/uggs. And some sort of tinsel scarf.

Anyone else?

Bottle green skinnies (that I've had for ages but put away during my last pregnancy & have only just found) & a Christmas jumper I picked up in Asda that has 2 Robin's on it. Oh & slippers when I'm in the kitchen Xmas Grin

A t-shirt with Christmas at Hogwarts on it, some kind of skirt, tights and boots (I will be going for a walk at some stage,) and lots of bling. No one will see it except me, but I don't care.

WheelyCoteClaus · 19/12/2018 21:37

Ideally....a sparkly dress with bouncing locks....oh the dream..

Reality....hair scruffs up in a bun and Leggings while I dash about like a madwoman. I'll only get covered in sweat, cooking food and mud and thankfully by tea time be too merry to careSmileGrin oh I love Christmas

Longhairmightcare · 19/12/2018 21:45

This bottle green velvet dress & leggings, which is actually really nice and comfy whilst also being fairly festive Xmas Wink

What are you wearing Christmas day?

I’m heavier than I had planned to be, thanks to health issues and too much nice food and drink so I’m hoping that I look half decent in this:
A knee length dark green pinafore dress with a slightly sparkly maroon 3/4 sleeved top underneath it. Black tights for my tree trunks and flat black boots to wear in the car - swapping to slippers when we get to MILs!

MrsBrownsSister · 20/12/2018 10:54

Jeans and a T shirt or jumper.

My head will be in the oven or standing over the hob.

passtheloveon · 20/12/2018 11:50

Ok.couldnt resist...Navy blue scrubs for 12 hours 🤣

Philomensapie · 20/12/2018 12:56

Both sound really nice.

Charlotte48 · 23/12/2018 18:15

The first outfit sounds very nice

neveradullmoment99 · 23/12/2018 19:16

black dress, tights and boots with a sparkly necklace and earrings. I may have to wear a cardigan depending upon how cold it is. Going to visit relatives. Kind of smart casual.

thighofrelief · 23/12/2018 19:25

A series of outfits:

Pyjamas
Dog walking clothes
Pyjamas

Elmashbu · 23/12/2018 20:37

We staying in so it will be dark grey Xmas jumper ('baby it's cold outside' in shiny studs on it) and patterned leggings. Comfy and stretchy.

LoveBeingAMum555 · 23/12/2018 22:30

I have always liked the idea of swishing around the house in a party dress on Christmas Day with a champagne flute in hand. My family would think I had gone mad if I suggested dressing up.

Jeans and nice jumper here. Love the Mums who are putting on silly outfits, matching Christmas dresses and the like for their kids. There wasnt such a thing when my kids were small but I think its lovely.

homebirds · 23/12/2018 22:39

I love a pj day but is Christmas Day not a day to get dressed up?

dementedma · 23/12/2018 22:44

probs black leggings and soft grey jumper with "pearls" on
for Christmas eve a floor length black skirt and comfortable top

purplelass · 23/12/2018 22:46

Pyjamas to open presents, then running gear once ExH has picked up DD then new pyjamas after my decadent bubble bath, finally putting some real clothes on to go and see friends in the evening Smile

ilovepixie · 23/12/2018 22:57

I will be wearing my black primark leggings with a tunic top from George at Asda with Skechers slouch boots. Nice and comfy.

TheOnlyAletheia · 23/12/2018 23:10

We are having DH's family here and wantit to be nice for them. They will make an effort so I am. Nothing over the top but a navy blue jersey velvet wrap dress with elbow length fitted sleeves with a flounce on them at the end. Navy blue tights and flattish shoes. It is stretchy so comfortable and just goes in the washer- always good with a 20 month old and when you're cooking. It isn't new- Hobbs sale about 3 years ago.

yesmelord · 23/12/2018 23:47

I'm 6 months pregnant but like to be comfy so I purchased a black and white polka dot dress with 3/4 sleeves and a wrap front from newlook maternity.

Tomorrow is a massive feast day for my family so VERY stretchy comfy leggings and a pretty black and red floral top (might take pj bottoms to families house too)

Christmasfairy07 · 24/12/2018 00:01

DH doesn’t dress up as it’s only us three plus my folks but I like to a bit as we don’t go out much. Will probably wear black trousers or my Joe Brown yoga trousers which are really well cut & comfy with a sparkly top.

Aaaahfuck · 24/12/2018 10:29

Probably pj's for breakfast and pressies. Then t shirt and leggings while me and my partner cook lunch (just us for lunch!). Then might get changed into what I'm wearing in the evening as going to my parents. Or might just laze in leggings and t shirt till the last minute. I think I'll wear a black jumpsuit (Jersey super comfortable). My parents have a log burner and their house is boiling a Christmas jumper might be too hot!

Sigh81 · 24/12/2018 17:01

Fawn and maroon pencil midi skirt and an ochre poloneck with gold jewellery and long boots (and then padding around in tights).
