I made cards for William, Catherine, George and Charlotte (new parents, siblings, so three in total) on the birth of Louis and received a thank you back. I was a little disappointed it was a standard reply when I'd hand made the cards but still thrilling.

HM = Hannah Martin. I thought it was okay to abbreviate seeing as I used her full name in the preceeding sentence. I know a lot of us thought Eugenie's make up was stunning on her wedding day.

Interesting about the make up. Did HM say what brand she used for Eugenia? Was it Bobbi Brown? That is the brand Kate uses too isn’t it?

Blooming no she didn't. She doesn't give much away, but it seems she has done royal weddings before. She used to work for BB, but is now freelance. I'm not sure if she was freelance before the wedding though. I only watched the video to see what other brands and products she rates, as she only ever used to use BB, obviously.

Can you imagine HM ( the Queen) peering over her glasses whilst she dabs at Eugenie’s face with a big powder puff, then tells her to purse her lips whilst she applies her Elizabeth Arden lipstick straight from the tube!

Hadley is a wise woman. So much of the backlash agasint Megan with regard to her father seems to boil down to her putting her own needs first, before those of a man that she should have been able to trust implicitly, but who has let her down repeatedly.

I think the pic of Kate and the Queen is lovely. It was an "under her wing" type outing for them. Same as the one she did with Meghan where M didn't wear a hat.

She's the Queen; she can disregard or make up any old "etiquette rule" she likes. Eg Edward VII used to leave his bottom waistcoat button undone because he felt full. Now it is seen.as the "correct" way to wear it.
